4-Star Hotels in Tarapaca, Chile

The hotel looks very grand. The sea view rooms offer a view of the ocean as soon as you open the window in the morning. There is a large supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient. We stayed for two nights. Breakfast was Western food, which might be a bit monotonous for Chinese people, since breakfast is not cheap. However, it was quite varied from a Westerner's perspective. Overall, it was a good hotel!

When we arrived we were told that Trip's reservation was for 2 single beds. When we told them that it was our honeymoon, they not only assigned us a room with a double bed but also with a view of the sea. They always looked after us very well, in a welcoming way. Exquisite food. The only problem is the location, since you have to take an Uber or similar because it is a bit dangerous to walk out (not much of a path). Everything else very good.

The hotel is located next to the Kavancha Beach. To Arthuro Prat Square on foot 15-20. In the evening it is very convenient to walk on the embankment and watch the sunset. The rooms are spacious but dark in the evening. You have to turn on all possible lights, including bed lamps. Furniture is kind, but the surfaces are visible with traces of time. Breakfast is normal. In addition to standard dishes, you can order omlet or eggs. The bathroom has soap (solid), as well as shampoo and air conditioning in large recycled tubes. The biggest remark is noise isolation from the street. On the one hand, the ocean is partially visible from the windows, but on the other very noisy. The hotel is located near the busy intersection, and the noise from the street significantly reduces the comfort of the rest. This is the only hotel during my three-week trip to Chile and Bolivia in November 2025, where I had to use the berush doya sleep. In the rest of the serious comments there are no, it is possible to live.

Just a few steps away from the beach, there is a Peruvian restaurant nearby which is very good and strongly recommended. The guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic and enthusiastically ordered a 7-seater car for us to go to the ghost town. The overall impression was good and the price was good.
