This is especially great for tourists who are new to Tashkurgan and are not yet acclimated to the high-altitude environment. The rooms are clean and tidy, with plenty of amenities. They also have a children's activity room, laundry room, and gym. Breakfast is also very rich and varied.

This hotel is excellent! Our room had a direct view of the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' in the afternoon, which was stunning. A big thanks to the manager for upgrading us to a room with a bathtub. The hotel itself is very new and modern. The next day, they conveniently arranged a complimentary transfer to the airport. The complimentary souvenir, especially the milk jujubes with nuts inside, was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was incredibly rich and diverse, with a great selection of tasty side dishes. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

They have truly perfected the meaning of glamping (glamorous + camping) in every single way. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s hospitality and service were not just comparable to world-class 5-star hotels in many ways, they exceeded them. As a non-Chinese speaking guest, I was a little nervous at first, but the team went above and beyond to make me feel completely at ease. Their cheerful smiles and genuine warmth were so heartwarming. What touched me the most? They constantly checked on my fiancée, who is vegetarian, making sure she had wonderful options at every meal. Seeing that level of care for her meant the world to me. They even carried my heavy luggage to the room❤️ Activities (both paid and free): They have horseback riding with the on-site coach – highly recommend (yes, it's a paid service). For free activities, there’s a giant swing (reminiscent of the one in Kalajun Grassland), archery, and the most beautiful, calm animals: two incredibly cute lambs, a cow, several horses, and the sweetest little dog who will greet you. If you’re nervous around animals, don’t worry – they are the chillest, calmest creatures and will only approach if you call them. Food: 10/10. My fiancée said it was the best meal she had in all of Xinjiang. Cooked by the wonderful Ah Po and Ah Gong, every dish felt like a loving home-cooked meal made by grandparents. There’s also an adorable cafe hut (though we didn’t get coffee – we were too busy being in awe of everything around us). Room standards: This is where they truly shine. Air conditioning, heater, soft comfy bed, overhead curtains to open or close for stargazing, fridge, hairdryer, lighted mirror, heated toilet – and spotlessly clean. We slept like a baby. And finally… stargazing. This is exactly why I chose this place. We stayed up until 3 AM, completely mesmerized by a sky full of stars like I’ve never seen before. I think it's fantastic! I arrived in early June, and the front desk upgraded me to a suite for free, which was a wonderful surprise! I thoroughly checked the bathroom, and it was very clean. Consumables in the room, including drinks and nut snacks, were replenished promptly. I'll definitely come back again and highly recommend staying here.

A very satisfactory homestay during the trip to Zhaosu. What you see is what you get! ! ! The homestay is newly opened, covering a large area, with ample spacing between rooms, spacious rooms, and a very user-friendly layout. The view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows is so beautiful! ! It is also worth mentioning that the spicy chicken raised by the B&B is delicious. I felt a little guilty because the chicken I just saw in the afternoon was eaten in the evening. One portion is enough for four people, and two of us didn't finish it and left it for the next day. The meat skewers and vegetarian dishes are also very delicious, with a lot of wok flavor. The proprietress even made us a special cocktail, and then she went for a wild bike ride, which was really cool~ We didn't have breakfast in the morning, and when we were heating up the spicy chicken, the lady at the B&B brought us some pastries from the morning, and the table was full in an instant... The Kazakh baursak and raspberry jam were so delicious, and they said they were made by their employees themselves. I love this place and will definitely come back if I have the chance.

The location isn't downtown, but the surroundings are nice. Staying in a tent room is an experience, but the main issue is the complete lack of soundproofing – it is, after all, a tent. So, cleanliness is just barely acceptable. My biggest complaint: each room has a table sprayed with very cheap paint. The smell, especially under the scorching sun, was unbearable! The entire room reeked of paint fumes. Breakfast was truly disappointing. The funniest part was that all guests had to use tiny saucers for their food. Don't they want to buy proper plates? The tables and chairs in the central courtyard were a mess; there were five different styles of chairs alone, giving it a very haphazard feel. What deserves praise, especially when compared to the overall unprofessional management, are the front desk service and the luggage porter! Their service was thoughtful and genuine. And the scenery is also very good! To add: the night view of the courtyard in the hotel's main picture is clearly Photoshopped; the reality is quite underwhelming.

Everything at this place is inspiring and catchy, in one way or another. Comfortably furnished, with a clean common space that has a nice bookshelf, a reading area, dining table and a soft furry couch. If there is one thing visible through the layout of this inn, it is that they take living with art with gusto, and this is an advantage for artsy guests. To top it all off, cat lovers would actually appreciate this place due to its feline thematics and the mascot cat Hanhan. For its price, it is a wonderful place for a stay in Urumqi.

I stayed in the intercontinental for one night and I wish I had more time here. The hotel is new and decorated in a sleek yet exotic fashion. The room is very spacious, with a comfy king sized bed and choices for pillows. Amenities wise, the room is equipped with the usual Blanche line of personal care products (however the hair brush is still quite rubbish...). The view from the room is superb, overlooking the yili river and the small apple lake with the mountains in the background. The executive lounge is dainty and the cocktail hours buffet was delicious (though doesn't have a huge alcoholic choices like some other executive lounges). Sitting in the lounge and watching the sunset over the river was a fantastic experience. The location of the hotel is a bit remote but it is perfect for someone wants to wander around the yili river park and/or do a nice long and peaceful run/bike ride. Gym is small but meets the basic needs (has dumbbells, cross trainer and treadmill but no bar bells or rack). The swimming pool looks fancy and big, makes it ideal for leisure and training. Lastly, and most importantly, for my stay I truly appreciated the hard working staff here. They have made my already wonderful stay perfect. A big shout out to the concierge team, especially 来存智 Leonard, the concierge supervisor, they have gone out of their way to help me. I wanted to visit some ethnic group bar at mid night and given the distances and lack of taxis, Leonard, together with his team, helped me get to the right place and Leonard personally drove me back from the bar at 3am. I was able to have a great night thanks to him. Upon checking out, I was also given a nice souvenir to mark a perfect stay (unfortunately I left it on the taxi due to rushing!!! To whoever is the next lucky passenger to pick it up: I am jealous!).

The room was clean and tidy, the environment was comfortable, and we received a free room upgrade. The service was warm and attentive. It was very convenient for getting around and sightseeing, with a dedicated car pick-up and drop-off. We didn't even have to wait in line at the front desk; check-in was directly in our room. They patiently introduced us to local attractions and activities. The overall experience for dining, accommodation, and touring was fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again next time, and I truly recommend it to everyone!

Our stay at Shejing Homestay was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcomed. Every single staff member was friendly, warm, and always ready to help with a smile. Their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. A special thank you to the boss as well, whose care and dedication can be seen in every detail of the homestay. It is clear that a lot of heart has gone into creating such a beautiful and welcoming place. The property itself is absolutely stunning. Every morning, I woke up in awe of the breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings. some of my favorite memories will be the heavenly scent of lavender drifting outside our room, the sound of the river and the beautiful sunset. The room was comfortable, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained. Waking up each morning to such beautiful scenery felt like a dream. As our stay comes to an end, I feel genuinely sad to leave. It feels like I've left a piece of my heart here. The warmth of the people, the beauty of the place, and the unforgettable memories we've made will stay with us for a long time. Thank you to the boss and the entire team for making our stay so special. I would wholeheartedly recommend Shejing Homestay to anyone visiting the area, and I hope to return again one day.
