Just pulled up to the hotel and — plot twist — our room wasn’t ready. Shocking, I know. They’d just survived the Water Festival the day before, so the place was probably still half-drowned and hungover. The receptionist dude was an absolute saint. His female colleague, however… let’s just say she was clearly auditioning for the role of “Cranky Receptionist from Hell.” I’m 99% sure she was on her period and the other 1% was pure personality. Thankfully they upgraded us, which was nice. I never saw the original room, so for all I know they moved us from a broom closet to a slightly larger broom closet with a view. Speaking of which — the view? Legit fire. The room itself? Clean enough. Dry sink area: spotless. Toilet: sparkling. Then came the shower — oh boy. It started off promising, like a decent enough setup… until my girlfriend jumped in. Five minutes later the hot water ghosted her mid-shampoo like a bad Tinder date. One second she’s happily singing, next second she’s screaming like she just got waterboarded by ice cubes. I’ve stayed in fancier bathrooms in Mexican motels that still had bullet holes in the walls and more reliable plumbing. Breakfast was… breakfast. The kind of “basic” that makes you nostalgic for airplane food. But hey, they gave us more bottled water than a doomsday prepper’s basement, so points for hydration. We were only there for two nights — in and out like a cheap Tinder date. Would I go back? Big fat question mark with a side of “probably not even if they paid me.” ⁉️

I have to say, this hotel was the most satisfying part of my Lijiang trip. The hotel environment and rooms were excellent, especially the service. Due to an issue with the air conditioning, the room temperature was very high. When I called the front desk at night, the night manager immediately showed me other rooms, but it was too late to switch at that moment. To my surprise, the next day, while we were out touring, the duty manager called me to upgrade us to a Deluxe Executive Suite. It was such a pleasant surprise! The staff were also incredibly helpful and promptly addressed any issues we had. It was truly a delightful trip, and I'll definitely be back.

It took only 20 minutes by taxi to get to Dounan Flower Market, which made buying fresh cut flowers super convenient. The front desk even proactively gave me a guide for sightseeing and dining in Chenggong. The room had great natural light, making it feel bright and spacious. It was a very hassle-free stay before catching my bus.

The weather in Kunming has been fantastic lately, and the hotel is right by Cuihu Lake, which makes for a lovely stroll. The front desk staff were really enthusiastic and helpful, giving us tips on nearby attractions. They even gave us some delicious snowflake shortbread! Zoey at checkout was wonderful and gave us a small gift, which I really appreciated. Oh, and the tea in the lobby is excellent.

Our stay this time was absolutely fantastic! The location of the accommodation is incredibly convenient – we could walk to the Starlight Night Market and all the popular restaurants in Gaozhuang, which saved us a lot of time and effort. The room was cozy and comfortable, clean and bright, making us feel relaxed the moment we stepped in. The owner is super nice and communication was incredibly smooth; they were always ready to help. Since we didn't drive ourselves, we inquired about a private car service at the guesthouse, and the price was very fair and reasonable. What was even more surprising was that the driver we got was also excellent. Not only did he drive safely, but he also proactively recommended attractions and helped us plan our itinerary, offering many practical travel tips that made our entire trip worry-free and fulfilling. This thoughtful and convenient accommodation experience has already made me quietly decide – next time I visit, I will definitely choose this place again!

I chose The Parisian Mekong Riverside Hotel for my business trip this time, and the experience completely exceeded my expectations! The king-size room with a full river-view balcony offered an absolutely stunning view. During the day, I could see the expansive Lancang River, and at night, I could feel the lively atmosphere of the Starry Night Market. The room was exceptionally clean, and the facilities were new and well-maintained. The bedding was comfortable, making for a very restful stay during my business trip. The front desk and service staff were all very welcoming. Check-in was efficient, and any requests were handled promptly. The overall environment was quiet and comfortable, making it a perfect choice for a business trip. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gaozhuang!

The hotel environment is fantastic, with many hot spring pools and lots of trees, plus a variety of small animals. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, and we could even project movies. There's also a small private courtyard outside for a personal hot spring bath, which was amazing. The front desk staff were very attentive and detailed in their service, which was excellent. However, there was a minor flaw: there was no toilet paper holder in the restroom. The toilet paper was placed next to the sink outside the door, meaning you had to stand up to reach it, which was quite awkward.

The hotel is located in Mangshi Manghuang Village. It is quiet in the middle of noisy. When you get up early, open the curtains and see the golden pagoda shining in the distance. The birds sing and sing. At this time, you can walk out of the hotel and stroll through the village. You can enjoy the style of the Yi village alone, but retreat during the day. In the evening, sit by the bath and enjoy tea and fruit, watching the sunset slowly fall from the golden pagoda, beautiful. You can also go to the cafe on the fourth floor to drink coffee and enjoy the sunset. The hotel is decorated in style, the room is large, the partition is reasonable, clean and tidy, no smell, impeccable hygiene, high-end supplies and complete details. We dine on the first floor of the hotel for breakfast and afternoon tea. The breakfast is nutritious and exquisite. I am suitable for those who are used to eating light tastes and not spicy. The hotel butler service is thoughtful, and also provides pick-up and drop-off and itinerary butler service. This trip almost does not need to be extra worried. The hotel has arranged for me throughout the whole process. I will choose this one next time I come to Mangshi!

The hotel room was spacious and quite smart, facing Erhai Lake, which was very comfortable. The staff were all very enthusiastic. After I checked out, I accidentally left some clothes behind, and they contacted me promptly to help me mail them back. I'm very grateful! The breakfast had both Chinese and Western options and was plentiful!

This place is so beautiful. When I came to Banna to play, I asked if there was a treasured accommodation with a view of the Lancang River. The Suriya Riverview Resort Hotel is really good. The C position of the hotel is definitely the infinity pool overlooking the Lancang River! The hotel is full of rich summer Bali style, surrounded by a whole coconut grove, as if you are in a Southeast Asian resort. Swimming in the swimming pool, blowing the breeze, and taking in the beautiful scenery of the Lancang River, it is so beautiful The river viewing platform at the end of the lobby on the first floor of the hotel is also a surprise! Sitting there, watching the sun slowly set, the sky was dyed into gorgeous colors, and the river water flowed slowly under my feet.
