The overall experience exceeded my expectations; everything was impeccable. The environmental hygiene was exceptionally well-maintained. The lobby was clean, bright, and odor-free, and the guest room felt fresh the moment I walked in. The floors and bathroom countertops were spotless, the bedding was soft and tidy, and there was no dust accumulation in the corners. The toiletries were neatly arranged, and after opening the window for ventilation, the air felt fresh, making my stay very comfortable and reassuring. The hotel facilities were complete and well-maintained. The air conditioning and hot water supply were stable, the internet was smooth, and the bathroom water pressure was ample. The lighting and power outlets were thoughtfully arranged, and the vanity and wardrobe offered sufficient space. The seating in the lounge area was comfortable, and all facilities were new and undamaged, providing an excellent user experience. I must particularly commend the service. The front desk staff were warm and courteous, and check-in was fast and efficient. Staff members would greet me proactively when passing by, and they responded quickly to any requests with patience and attention to detail. The directions for travel and parking were clear, and the service was attentive and thoughtful throughout. Clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and with heartwarming service, this hotel offers great value for money. I will definitely choose this place again for my next trip. Highly recommended!

The hotel environment is fantastic, with many hot spring pools and lots of trees, plus a variety of small animals. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, and we could even project movies. There's also a small private courtyard outside for a personal hot spring bath, which was amazing. The front desk staff were very attentive and detailed in their service, which was excellent. However, there was a minor flaw: there was no toilet paper holder in the restroom. The toilet paper was placed next to the sink outside the door, meaning you had to stand up to reach it, which was quite awkward.

The garden landscape, built on the former site of the Dai Royal Palace, is truly unique, providing an unbeatable natural backdrop for photos. The photography team is professional and experienced; their makeup and styling are meticulous, and their shot selection is precise. The service throughout was attentive, with no pushy sales tactics, and the final photos have the quality of professional portraits. The rooms are luxurious, comfortable, and tranquil, with comprehensive amenities and meticulous service. You can immerse yourself in the Dai rainforest culture without even leaving the hotel, combining relaxation with a fantastic photoshoot. It's truly the top choice for a vacation in Xishuangbanna.

Just pulled up to the hotel and — plot twist — our room wasn’t ready. Shocking, I know. They’d just survived the Water Festival the day before, so the place was probably still half-drowned and hungover. The receptionist dude was an absolute saint. His female colleague, however… let’s just say she was clearly auditioning for the role of “Cranky Receptionist from Hell.” I’m 99% sure she was on her period and the other 1% was pure personality. Thankfully they upgraded us, which was nice. I never saw the original room, so for all I know they moved us from a broom closet to a slightly larger broom closet with a view. Speaking of which — the view? Legit fire. The room itself? Clean enough. Dry sink area: spotless. Toilet: sparkling. Then came the shower — oh boy. It started off promising, like a decent enough setup… until my girlfriend jumped in. Five minutes later the hot water ghosted her mid-shampoo like a bad Tinder date. One second she’s happily singing, next second she’s screaming like she just got waterboarded by ice cubes. I’ve stayed in fancier bathrooms in Mexican motels that still had bullet holes in the walls and more reliable plumbing. Breakfast was… breakfast. The kind of “basic” that makes you nostalgic for airplane food. But hey, they gave us more bottled water than a doomsday prepper’s basement, so points for hydration. We were only there for two nights — in and out like a cheap Tinder date. Would I go back? Big fat question mark with a side of “probably not even if they paid me.” ⁉️

My stay at the Sofitel Kunming with a Dianchi Lake view room was absolutely perfect! The high-floor, panoramic French windows offered stunning views – during the day, I could see Dianchi Lake and the Western Hills in the distance, and in the evening, the sunset painted the lake beautifully. The nighttime city lights were incredibly soothing. The room's French-style soft furnishings were elegant, and the MyBed bedding was so soft and comfortable for sleeping. The bathtub with a view, paired with Lanvin toiletries, created a fantastic atmosphere for a relaxing soak while enjoying the scenery. Young at the front desk provided thoughtful service and handled check-in efficiently. The room was clean and odor-free. The hotel's location is convenient, and it has excellent facilities including a heated swimming pool and a high-altitude restaurant. The French design blended with Yunnan characteristics makes this view room the top choice for a vacation in Kunming. Highly recommended!

A perfect stay! The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable for a good night's sleep, and the soundproofing was excellent. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and friendly. The location is very convenient for getting around, and it offers great value for money. The environment is clean and elegant, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfast had a wide variety of fresh options. Service was prompt. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

I'm on my way to Mile right now, taking a break to write this review! This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to give a hotel a positive review, mainly because Ms. Bianca's service was absolutely amazing! The day before we arrived, she proactively contacted us to ask about our needs. When she learned we were traveling with a baby, and since the hotel couldn't provide a bed rail, she upgraded our room and arranged for two beds to be pushed together. Every evening before we returned to the hotel, there was turn-down service, with water replenished, and the room was cleaned twice a day, so it was always spotless and tidy when we got back – it truly made us feel great! For deliveries and takeout, after contacting the hotel, the concierge would bring them directly to our room; the service was incredibly attentive! They never seemed bothered and always greeted us with a smile. We rented an electric car after landing in Kunming, and there are charging stations in the underground parking at Spring City 66, very close to the hotel! The freshly baked flower pastries at breakfast were absolutely divine! Better than any I've bought elsewhere!!! The latte art in the coffee was so therapeutic! I travel frequently for business and leisure, and I've stayed in many five-star hotels, but I've only seen latte art at breakfast once before, at a hotel in Singapore! They also had freshly made Eggs Benedict! Our child loved the colorful glutinous rice – the chicken noodle soup was just so-so. When our child vomited in the middle of the night, we contacted room service, and they changed the sheets and duvet covers very quickly! At 3 AM, we took our child to the nearby Kunming Children's Hospital, where he was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis and put on an IV drip. I contacted Bianca to ask if we could have a late checkout. The front desk had initially said 2 PM, but Bianca, considering our little one hadn't slept all night, proactively offered to extend it to 4 PM! This gave us ample time to rest and pack. Being in a different city with a sick child and experiencing such thoughtful service truly made us feel grateful! We will definitely stay at the Grand Hyatt again next time we're in Kunming! My stay at Mile Holiday Hotel was extremely satisfying. The front desk service was warm and efficient, making check-in quick and seamless. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and both the lighting and soundproofing were excellent. The outdoor pool had refreshing water, offering a great recreational experience. The overall environment was comfortable and pleasant, and the service was consistently attentive. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Mile.

Facilities: As expected from a new hotel, the facilities are excellent. The smart toilet flushes automatically only after you get up – who knew?! Hygiene: Top-notch! Super clean. This is the first time I've seen such a large toothbrush head in a hotel. Environment: Arrived at the hotel in the early hours, and the lobby was a feast for the eyes. The room has large French windows, and with the good weather, my mood was just beautiful. 24-hour private airport transfer: Airport transfers are available; just contact the hotel upon arrival and they'll arrange it. Great value for money! Highly recommended! If I wasn't in a hurry, I'd definitely check out later and explore the hotel more.

This hotel is a standalone property with excellent facilities. They offer a free pick-up service from the train station, and the front desk staff are incredibly warm and attentive. The room was spotless, tidy, and free of any unpleasant smells. Plus, there are tons of great restaurants nearby, which is super convenient. Highly recommend this place!
