Spent a few days exploring Zhengzhou and stayed at the Marriott in the 'Big Corn' building. The room had a great view; it was really relaxing to come back at night, gaze at the city lights, and unwind. Maggie provided excellent service, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so I got some great rest. The location is convenient too; there are plenty of dining options in the mall downstairs, and getting around by taxi to nearby attractions was quick. When I travel solo, I look for a hassle-free experience, and this place certainly delivered – no regrets here.

## Facilities Generally very good. The only minor point is that the hotel uses central air conditioning, which often doesn't cool the room as much as individual units, typically maintaining around 22°C, and can sometimes feel a bit stuffy. However, the hotel's maintenance staff responded quickly, and after they cleared it, the room did feel noticeably cooler. ## Hygiene The room was immaculately clean and tidy. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job. ## Environment The hotel boasts a fantastic location, right at the subway entrance, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. ## Service The service was truly excellent. Any issues we had were promptly addressed by the front desk. A special mention goes to the complimentary drop-off service to Zhengzhou East High-Speed Rail Station on our last day, which was a very thoughtful touch and much appreciated. My only very minor suggestion would be to improve the consistency or quality control of the welcome fruit. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Zhengzhou.

This hotel was chosen specifically for overnight layovers, and overall it's just average, below average. Its only advantage is its proximity to the airport, offering free airport shuttle service, which is practical for those catching early flights. The room has basic amenities, and the bedding is clean enough for one night, but the decor is outdated, the space is small, and the soundproofing is only so-so; you can occasionally hear noises from the hallway. The bathroom facilities are basic, the hot water flow is inconsistent, and the toiletries are of average quality. Service is mediocre; check-in at the front desk is slow, and there are no extra thoughtful services. There are many small shops nearby, making dining relatively convenient, but there's no substantial breakfast option. It's only suitable for short layovers; travelers who aren't looking for a comfortable stay can make do. It's not recommended for those seeking a comfortable stay. Overall, it's unremarkable, only meeting basic needs for a short rest.

The overall environment is pretty good, and the breakfast at 68 is reasonably priced. The room had water and 4 complimentary drinks. The room itself was quite nice, and the staff were friendly. However, because the hotel is so large, finding the elevators was confusing. The map provided wasn't very clear. There should be more recognizable signs on the walls indicating room numbers and elevator directions. A concerning incident was when I couldn't find an elevator after walking around for a long time, so I decided to take the stairs down. To my surprise, the door on the first floor was locked. I had to go back up to the second floor to find an elevator. For safety, how can the bottom door of a fire escape be locked?

Le Méridien Zhengzhou truly lives up to its reputation as a local landmark hotel. Its distinctive design is captivating. The environment is well-maintained and clean, and the breakfast offers authentic *huladiao* soup, balancing local flavors. Sylvia provided warm and appropriate service without being overly formal. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience, definitely worth trying if you're traveling to Zhengzhou.

I loved my stay here! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for the sight seeing I went to do with my friends! After a long day walking around in the sun and heat, the cool water of the hot spring bath attached to my room was perfect to relax and get refreshed for my adventures the next day! This hotel is perfect for groups of friends, business travel, or families with children! We didn’t realize it when we booked our stay, but there is also a water park in the hotel resort, which is perfect for kids!

It's okay. The best hotel in the area. There was a big fly in the bathroom. I spent a long time fighting it. The building I booked is the newest one in the hotel. It seems to be divided into two building numbers. Be careful not to go wrong.

My stay in an executive king room at the Luoyang International Hotel was exceptional. The executive benefits were extensive and satisfying, with the executive lounge offering afternoon tea, evening snacks, and cocktails – great value for money. From the warm welcome at the entrance, the efficient check-in process, and the thoughtful explanations, to the room service, breakfast buffet, and executive lounge, the service was consistently meticulous and attentive, making me feel right at home. Doormen proactively opened car doors when I entered or exited the hotel, and the restaurant and lounge staff were quick to seat guests and clear dishes, demonstrating excellent service awareness. Breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection. There were six or seven egg options alone, including boiled eggs, tea eggs, fried eggs, eggs Benedict, English scrambled eggs, omelets, and poached eggs. The spread featured both Western and Chinese dishes, along with local Luoyang specialties, providing a wide range of choices. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to taxis and the subway. The surroundings were quiet at night, which was a huge plus for light sleepers. My only minor suggestion would be for the lounge to add a signature cocktail with a local Luoyang flair; that would elevate the experience even further. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and pleasant, and I highly recommend this hotel.

Huge thanks to Karen, the Front Office Manager, for helping us get a room upgrade and planning our itinerary in advance. The concierge was super friendly, greeting us warmly and assisting with our luggage. The lovely lady at check-in thoughtfully offered us hot drinks, and Vivian at the front desk even gave us a kind reminder and some water for our journey when we were heading out. We really appreciate it! Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff on our floor were so attentive. They noticed we'd run out of water, left a sweet note, and brought extra bottles, which made our Christmas feel incredibly warm and special.

Summary: This hotel was chosen blindly. Aside from its good location and friendly staff, all other facilities were subpar. Pros: The location was decent, close to several attractions and surrounded by cosmetic shops. While the view from the window wasn't great, the room was relatively large. Cons: The soundproofing was terrible. I could hear the TV and conversations from next door; it was extremely poorly soundproofed. I was also unlucky; the first night, a bunch of inconsiderate people next door played cards all night, making it feel like I was sleeping in a card room, which meant I didn't sleep a wink. Also, the shower in the room had very low water pressure and weak flow, making it impossible to wash my hair. It was repaired once but never fixed. For a hotel with a bathhouse, the shower facilities were extremely inadequate. I originally booked for three nights, but after two nights, I couldn't stand it anymore and switched hotels.
