Check in was fast and room was good size for the price and area of Causeway Bay which is always busy. There was a tap for filtered water in bathroom to refill bottles and drink clean water. Room was quiet and air con strong though Hong Kong was cool during visit. Decor in room was older but hotel has classical design and grand looking reception area. Did not try other facilities or food as many restuarants nearby. Would stay here again.

I came for Jacky Cheung's concert, and the hotel is right opposite the Hong Kong Coliseum, which was incredibly convenient! The Christmas atmosphere was really strong, and the place was packed, almost full. The hotel service was pretty good too. They don't provide complimentary bottled water or disposable toothbrushes, so you need to bring your own. Water at the front desk is HK$5 a bottle, which isn't expensive for Hong Kong.

The room was upgraded and was indeed a bit bigger. I had specifically requested not to be near the elevator before arriving, but that's exactly where they put me. I was too tired to bother changing rooms at the time. There's a bathtub, so if you need one, bring a tub liner for a bath. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, so remember to bring your own. There's no bottled water in the room, only tap water from the direct drinking dispenser. The 2-meter bed was plenty big, and there's even a cushioned windowsill!

Straight from the plane to the hotel, the shuttle bus was a lifesaver! What really impressed me was the hotel's free shuttle bus. No need to drag my luggage around looking for transportation! After exiting Terminal 1 A Arrivals at the airport, just follow the signs for a few minutes and you'll find the pick-up point. The bus schedule is super frequent, basically every 30 minutes, running from 9 AM until past 10 PM. I arrived just in time and didn't have to wait at all. The ride to the hotel took less than 10 minutes, which was incredibly convenient for someone with a lot of luggage!

The room was pretty good, having been renovated in 2024. Each room came with an air purifier, though there was still a slight paint smell. Overall, it offered great value for money and was quite affordable! It's close to the downstairs dining area, located in a Panda-themed building on the third floor, which can also host parties! Getting to the city center is convenient with the free shuttle bus, but it runs on a schedule and requires a reservation. It's best to book in advance; even if your plans change, it's easier than trying to get on last minute when it might be full! All in all, it's a good place, about a ten-minute walk from the subway station. City shuttle bus service: Convenient.

Had a staycation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Booked a nice deal with the tea time, happy hour & breakfast buffet. First time to book hotel along wanchai and i must say its a convenient place since its near everything. The hotel might be a little old but the service was fast and staff are friendly. Hope they could refill the conditioner dispenser before the guest settled in because when i am taking a shower i was only able to use a small amount of conditioner. But thats only a small glitch, i will still consider to go back and book again.

The hotel service was excellent. The front desk lady had a lovely smile and check-in was very quick. The facilities, well, they reminded me of a high-ranking official's guesthouse in mainland China – a bit old-fashioned, but very clean. The room wasn't huge; it felt spacious for one person, just right for two, and would be cramped for three, so I was glad I was alone. The hotel is large and quiet, with several restaurants. Since I was close to the airport, I didn't dine in the main restaurants, but I did try the cakes from the patisserie in the hallway. They were delicious, much better than the food in the airport terminal. I had them twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. The lady serving was very kind; she even came out to see me off when I left, thanking me for my patronage and inviting me to come again. I was really touched. Her cakes and coffee were fantastic and very filling. I'll definitely go back for her cakes and coffee if I get the chance. I was in a rush and forgot to take photos, but I'll make sure to next time.

This was my third stay, and unfortunately, the experience has declined with each visit. This last time was particularly disappointing. My first stay was excellent. All the staff were incredibly warm and made us feel right at home. The lobby manager and elevator attendant greeted us, and the pool staff proactively offered towels and chatted with us. The room was tidy and clean, and breakfast was good. I even enthusiastically recommended it to friends. The staff's politeness was so impressive I almost forgot I was in Hong Kong. This positive experience was why we returned for two more stays. The second time, things felt a bit different. Perhaps it was after the National Day holiday, but the staff seemed noticeably more fatigued and less enthusiastic than before. There were fewer greetings in the lobby, and the bathroom in the room wasn't as clean; the shower drain was also a bit clogged. Still, overall, it was acceptable. This last visit, however, was quite poor. The room itself was still very tidy and clean. It happened to be Jacky Cheung's first day back at the Hong Kong Coliseum, and our room overlooked the Coliseum and a giant poster, which thrilled the Jacky Cheung fans in our family. However, despite being close to Christmas, the lobby had little festive decoration apart from a single Christmas tree, making it feel quite cold. The staff's attitude was very robotic. Aside from the doorman, no one greeted us, and the lobby manager actively avoided eye contact with guests. If it was due to being overwhelmed by too many Christmas guests, I could perhaps understand, but the breakfast restaurant experience was simply terrible. Firstly, the fruits and vegetables weren't fresh; the freshly made scrambled eggs with tomatoes had a rotten taste from the tomatoes. Secondly, I frequently overheard staff privately discussing and looking down on certain guests, or quietly badmouthing them... saying things like their accent wasn't standard or they ordered too slowly... And these guests were all polite! My goodness... badmouthing guests is already unacceptable, but to let other guests hear you do it... You only get paid for your job because of those guests. It's hard to believe this is what I witnessed at this hotel. I'm not sure if they hired third-party staff due to a shortage during the Christmas period, but it's infuriating to even think about. That's all. I will no longer recommend this place to others.

The hotel boasts a convenient location with excellent public transport links. It's only a few hundred meters from the MTR Fortress Hill Station, about a 5-minute walk. There's also a 'ding ding' tram route nearby; make sure to take a ride on this century-old tram! The rooms are well-equipped with amenities like air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and a refrigerator. It's worth noting that the hotel embraces an eco-friendly philosophy, so disposable toiletries (like toothbrushes and combs) and complimentary bottled water are not proactively provided. Guests should bring their own or purchase them at the hotel. The Deluxe Seaview Rooms offer views of Victoria Harbour. There are also some great local snacks around the hotel. For those with a sweet tooth, I recommend 'Fook Yuen Tang Yuan'.

I looked at many hotels in Hong Kong, and knowing that rooms tend to be small, I chose this one as it seemed a bit more spacious. Overall, it was decent. The bathroom was a tad small but very clean, which was better than expected. However, if you're traveling with a lot of luggage, it can be quite a hassle. The hotel is situated on a steep hillside, meaning you'll have to climb quite a few stairs. While it's not far from Central, it's definitely not recommended for those with mobility issues or heavy bags. For Hong Kong, where space is truly at a premium, this hotel is quite good.

__WeChat46033****Much better than expected! It's very close to Wan Chai MTR Station Exit C, about 200 meters away. Along the way, there are many small eateries, and also many Caucasians and South Asians starting to drink and hang out on the streets in the afternoon. There's also a trendy Hong Kong dessert shop nearby that's been quite popular recently, but the queue was too long so I didn't go in. By chance, I stumbled into a noodle shop called 'Jiang Gong Yan Xuan' (姜公严选), which was indeed delicious, but surprisingly didn't accept Octopus or Alipay. Like many hotels in Hong Kong, the room is small, but the interior space here felt quite reasonable and didn't give off a cramped feeling. The bathroom was tiny, with the door hitting my knees when sitting on the toilet, but it was clean and newly renovated, which was a plus. We got complimentary coffee upon check-in, and the reception staff were very enthusiastic and helped with our luggage. However, be sure to request a room away from the elevator; I noticed one room directly next to the elevator on our floor, which would definitely have poor sound insulation. Staying in the middle of the corridor, there were no issues.

MM370306****The hotel's location is excellent, right next to a mall that has everything you could need. In the morning, you can even grab McDonald's. The hotel facilities are great; the family room comfortably accommodates four people without feeling cramped, and the bathroom is also very spacious. There were no strange odors, hygiene was excellent, and the room was very clean. We were even able to check in early. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Hong Kong.

AAnonymous UserThe room size was just okay, nothing spectacular, but for the price, I think it was quite reasonable. However, the service was truly excellent. I have to give a shout-out to the staff member, Yaxing. Seeing us with our luggage, she immediately came over to help, genuinely proactive and not just going through the motions. Overall, I'm very satisfied! 👍🏼

11383237****This was my husband and my first time visiting Hong Kong for two days. When I booked, Island Shangri-La was the only hotel that offered a refundable option, and I had heard great things about their service, so I decided to book it. After checking in, I truly experienced the prime location. Right across from the hotel entrance is Hong Kong Park, which, although not large, is beautifully scenic. The plants and trees are all labeled, there are fountains and streams, and even a delightful aviary with various birds to observe. It's perfect for families with children. Diagonally opposite the park entrance, not far away, is the Peak Tram entrance – surprise number two! Buying a 'red diamond' ticket allowed us direct entry, saving a lot of waiting time, and we got to enjoy the stunning Victoria Harbour view from the top. Below the hotel is Pacific Place mall, a high-end shopping destination, and a short walk in front takes you to the seaside park, which is incredibly convenient. Now, about the hotel service – it was excellent, absolutely fantastic! The front desk lady was warm, thoughtful, and highly professional. She helped us get a room with a beautiful view, which was a huge plus! All the staff members were humble and polite, and their Mandarin communication was excellent. The concierges at the entrance were courteous and welcoming. For breakfast, the hot noodle bowl was quite large, and the young man serving piled on plenty of toppings, cooked just right – it was delicious, surprise number three, and definitely deserves praise. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.

FFrankie_MYThe hotel location is less than 10 minutes walk to the Tai Wo Hau MTR station, however they do provide shuttle van service to the Kwai Fong MTR station every 30 minutes. The journey in the train to Central is just about 25 minutes. There is a small 7-11 next to the hotel but it is not 24 hours. If you come back late and craving for some food, you may go to the eatery under Tai Wo Hau residences, they open late. There are some vending machines in the hotel ground floor as well. The room is clean and spacious with the reasonable price in HK.

__CFT010000002927****The room was quite spacious and even had a sofa. Overall, it was pretty good, and you could see the sea in the distance. **Facilities**: It came with an electric kettle and wine glasses, which were better amenities than a standard king or twin room. **Hygiene**: Being a new hotel, it was relatively clean, although the canned mineral water was a bit unpleasant. **Environment**: Being able to see the sea from afar, the night view was also quite beautiful. **Service**: The service was generally good. During the day, there were hosts at the lobby elevator who were very enthusiastic, and luggage storage was also very convenient. However, the front desk staff on duty at night had an average attitude; they would get annoyed if you asked too many questions.

MMSHALLYI stay at this hotel for 5 days. My stay here was excellent. It’s very close to a nice beach within a walking distance. It has a frequent shuttle buses that can take you to Tsuen Wan Station Exit B3 where there are a bunch of malls and access to metro. This is also very close to Disneyland, so I would recommend this hotel for family, a solo traveler, a couple, and etc… All staff members were polite and efficient. The cleaning ladies were super fast and amazing. Thus, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. I wish this hotel a prosperous future and new year 2026!

MM10920****Considering how tiring it is to watch the fireworks, I booked this hotel for a Sunday night stay, having made the reservation on Tuesday. I'd recommend booking on a Wednesday or Thursday as prices are generally lower during the week. Sometimes, there are special rates for Sunday afternoons after 6 PM, but that depends on luck. The hotel offers a convenient shuttle service to and from Disneyland. I took a taxi directly from the airport to the hotel, dropped off my luggage, and then headed to Disneyland. I came back in the evening to check in, and my luggage had already been delivered to my room. The bed was large, and having a water purifier in the room was a great convenience. You can keep the room key card when you check out. The hotel also has many family-friendly activities, which unfortunately I didn't have time to participate in. On the second day, you can use the fast pass lane to enter the park by showing your room key card sleeve, which saves a lot of time!
