I stayed at this hotel four times in 2024 and thought it was pretty good back then. Even though the facilities were old (I think it was built in '06, can't quite remember), it offered great value for money and was conveniently located. I saw that it was renovated in 2024 (maybe after we stayed there?), so I decided to book it again. Their slippers are really thin, so we brought our own. I'm not sure if it's because it was a family room, meaning lots of kids, or if the soundproofing is just bad because different room types are on different floors, but the sound insulation was terrible. We constantly heard adults and children talking as they walked past in the hallway, even though our room was quite far from the elevator. When we entered the room, there was a strong musty smell, and there were obvious mold stains along the walls (I thought it was recently renovated? I can't tell where they renovated, it looks just as old as before). There were also a few sunflower seed shells and kernels left on the floor that hadn't been cleaned up. There was no bottled water either (which isn't a big deal, as we usually buy our own water anyway). The exhaust fan was incredibly loud, and there was a constant dripping sound from the pipes. We could clearly hear people showering and flushing toilets upstairs. It was so noisy past 11 PM that our kids couldn't sleep, and then around 6 AM, people started getting ready, waking us up again. No need for an alarm clock! I don't remember it being this noisy on my previous stays. However, the staff supervising the lobby were very proactive and friendly. When there was a long queue, they guided us to the self-service machines to check in.

Regala Skycity Hotel is the nearest airport hotel of Terminal 2 of Hong Kong Chep Lap Kok Airport. The first free shuttle bus service starts at 6.15 am from the bus interchange at Terminal 2. Waiting bay is between lanes 9 and 11. Late check-out is allowed upon request until 1 pm. As my experience goes, there is no need to pay room deposit of HK$500 after paying for the room rate in full at Trip.com. If the guest chose to pay at the hotel, HK$500 which is roughly around S$83, is required. The hotel allows rooms for day use until 6 pm and room deposit is required. I chose to stay at Regala Skycity Hotel in order to review its rooftop as the hotel promotes the use of its rooftop for physical exercises and plane-spotting. The rooftop is above the twelfth floor, two fire doors up from the eleventh floor. On the rooftop, I can see jets flying towards the direction of the sea above the rooftop. If an aeroplane flies towards the airport in the opposite direction, plane-spotting can be done at the twelfth floor corridor end-window. It is amazing that jets can be seen flying towards the airport above the sea. Hong Kong Airport Terminal 1 and Regala Airport Hotel can also be noticed. Focal length is 200mm to 500mm. In the afternoon after check-out, I am grateful that the receptionist allows me to go up to the rooftop again for plane-spotting till sun set with out paying for a room for day use. About the small, comfortable room that I stayed, the garden view is not that magnificent. There are no trees fortunately. There are no bottles of mineral water in the room. Heat a kettle of water and pour the water into the hotel's glass bottle to drink later. About the shower room, the anti-slip mattress is available for use. The hotel restaurant serves complimentary breakfast with Hong Kong-style breakfast as the highlight. There is no American-style breakfast to eat. It is very expensive to stay in Regala Skycity Hotel but I will stay here again for the purpose of plane-spotting if there were new airliners flying to the airport at the appropriate time.

I came to Hong Kong for a vacation before the Chinese New Year and chose the Regal Airport Hotel because it's close to the airport. It's supposedly a five-star hotel, and overall, the hardware and software are pretty good, though the facilities are a bit old (the bathroom has a bathtub instead of a separate shower stall). For this price point, getting a room of this size in Hong Kong is already quite good.

Hotel near Mong Kok,Hong Kong 12.3% of visitors choose this area

Location: The hotel is connected to Moko New Century Plaza in Mong Kok, situated in the older part of Mong Kok. Nearby, streets like Fa Yuen Street, Tung Choi Street, Sai Yee Street, and Pitt Street offer an authentic taste of Hong Kong's local life. Moko itself is a bustling commercial hub, integrating shopping, dining, and entertainment. On the third floor, there's an indoor amusement park that's quite spacious for an outdoor children's playground in Hong Kong, attracting many local families with kids. The hotel's surroundings are packed with eateries that stay open very late; you can still buy fruit and late-night snacks on Fa Yuen Street downstairs even at midnight. Mong Kok East MTR station, on the East Rail Line, is right next door. Transportation: Although it's not on Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, getting around is actually very convenient. Besides the Mong Kok East MTR station, the entrance is just to the right of the hotel inside the mall. I took my child to Disneyland and Ocean Park from here, just needing to transfer at stations like Hung Hom or Admiralty. Ocean Park is even closer, only 3-4 stops away. Disneyland, including transfer waiting time, takes about 50 minutes. From Mong Kok East station, you can go left to Central or get off at Exhibition Centre Station, or go right to Causeway Bay from Admiralty station. Besides the MTR, there's no need to take the subway to Tsim Sha Tsui. Downstairs, there are various bus stops at Concordia Primary School. You can hop on any double-decker bus that says 'Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier,' such as KMB routes 1 or 203. These buses will take you all the way along Nathan Road until you get off at Cameron Road. During our stay, we always took these double-decker buses to Tsim Sha Tsui, which was incredibly convenient. You can activate overseas travel payments on Alipay or use the 'Ride Code' mini-program on WeChat, and one phone can even add a companion. Bus fares are typically 5 to 6 HKD. If paying cash, children can even get half-price, whereas the MTR tends to be more expensive.

I stayed at the Harbour Plaza Metropolis during my trip to Hong Kong. Although I booked a bit late and the price was a bit high, the 25-square-meter room was still quite good. I could see Victoria Harbour, and the view was decent. Breakfast was also quite rich. The only problem was the air conditioning; it was too noisy, and the temperature couldn't be adjusted once it was on. It got quite cold, but the comforter was very thin. When I turned the AC off, the humidity rose, making the room stuffy, and there was also a sewage smell coming from the bathroom.

This was my first solo trip and I was a bit nervous at first, but my Hong Kong trip turned out to be really enjoyable, not scary at all. In fact, it felt even more liberating and comfortable. I chose this hotel and its location is incredibly convenient. The MTR station is less than a 10-minute walk away, and Pacific Place is within walking distance. The area around the hotel is also very lively. There's a fantastic Korean noodle shop nearby that I highly recommend! I went back out for a quick bite after returning to the hotel in the evening and managed to get a meal just before they closed. It was super delicious! Later, I found out it's a chain. The cleanliness of the room was also excellent, and I'm quite particular about hotels. I stayed over a weekend, and at 1000 per night, the price was quite good. I genuinely recommend it! Oh, and a quick note about the random room assignment. I was initially worried about getting a bad room. When I got to the front desk, I was going to ask for a high-floor room, but the staff mentioned that the lower floors had just been renovated, so I went ahead with a low-floor room. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and have already recommended it to friends who have also stayed here.

My friend recommended this hotel when they visited Hong Kong last year. The housekeeping service was incredibly meticulous; when we returned on the second day, not only was the bed neatly made, but even our toys and pajamas were tidily arranged. The attention to detail was really thoughtful. The location is a bit out of the way, but they offer a free shuttle bus to and from the MTR station, which makes getting around very convenient. You can head to Tsuen Wan for some great food, and overall, it's excellent value for money.

Our stay at the Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong was absolutely perfect, exceeding all our expectations! We were extremely satisfied with everything, from the location and service to the amazing views. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of North Point, just a few minutes' walk from North Point MTR station, which was incredibly convenient. Plus, in just a few more minutes, you can walk to the ferry pier and take a small boat to the other side, saving a lot of time! The room we stayed in had excellent views and a well-designed layout, with soft and comfortable bedding. Overall, the value for money was outstanding, and the front desk staff were very friendly~

This hotel offers great value for money in Hong Kong. The mini-fridge was stocked with a variety of drinks, the service was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable. It's conveniently located near Jordan MTR station, right across from Mannings, and within walking distance to Yau Ma Tei and Tsim Sha Tsui. There are local eateries right downstairs. Plus, it's super easy to get here from the airport; just take bus A21 and cross the road. Both public transport (bus and MTR) are very accessible.

In this bustling city, I recently had the pleasure of staying at a five-star hotel, and my experience was truly delightful. The hotel lobby is spacious and brightly lit, with elegant decor that creates a luxurious atmosphere. The front desk staff greeted me warmly, and the check-in process was handled quickly and professionally, making me feel right at home. The room layout was well-designed, and all amenities were readily available. The comfortable bed allowed me to sleep soundly through the night. The view from the window was spectacular, offering a panoramic vista of the city's vibrancy. Every morning, I enjoyed the hotel's lavish buffet breakfast on the balcony; the fresh juice and baked bread were a wonderful start to the day. The hotel's service was incredibly attentive. Whether it was housekeeping or dining service, the staff were consistently professional and thoughtful. I also appreciated the well-maintained fitness facilities, including the swimming pool and gym, which allowed me to keep up with my workouts during my leisure time. Finally, I must mention the hotel's restaurant. Whether it was Western cuisine or local flavors, the dishes were incredibly creative and delicious. The elegant dining environment made it a truly memorable experience. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations. From the ambiance and service to the facilities, it truly lived up to its five-star standard. The next time I visit this city, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

AAnonymous UserThis is the most beautiful sea-view hotel I've ever stayed in. Not only is it clean and hygienic, but the room is also very spacious. Although it's not close to the city center, there are two bus stops right across from the hotel, which makes it very convenient. For just over 200 HKD per person, you can stay in such a great hotel in Hong Kong, where every inch of land is precious. What more could you ask for?

GGuest UserFacilities: Although the hotel is a bit old, the family-friendly floor has been renovated beautifully and is perfect for kids! 11358053****1. This hotel is a bit out of the way. There's only one 7/11 nearby, and it's not even 24-hour. The closest place to get food is a 20-minute walk. If you're coming back late and want a bite to eat or to buy something, it's best to have eaten beforehand or to have bought things already. 2. There's no general food delivery in Hong Kong; you can only download the Hong Kong-specific Keta delivery app. However, you need to register to use it, and you can only do so with a local Hong Kong or foreign phone number. Mainland Chinese phone numbers don't work. We asked the front desk if we could register with their number and have them notify us when food arrived, but no one in the entire hotel was willing. So, Keta delivery was effectively useless. 3. The power outlets in Hong Kong are different from mainland China. If you bring the wrong adapter or forget to bring a specialized one, your phone and computer will be useless, because the hotel provides absolutely nothing. At most, they'll let you scan a power bank for 200 yuan deposit and 8 yuan an hour – do with that what you will. 4. The hotel rooms are quite old and a bit dated, and the cleanliness is just average (there was still hair on the towels, and tea stains hadn't been wiped off the table). Those who mind these things should take note.

YYiqiqukanhai58The hotel's location is excellent. From West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, head towards Elements Mall. Once inside Elements, continue following the clear signs to the hotel. The entire walk is indoors. It's also convenient if you exit at Kowloon MTR station; just walk into Elements. The hotel is clean and the service is warm and friendly. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very welcoming. There are clear signs leading to the hotel entrance. You take the elevator to the 6th-floor lobby where staff direct you to the front desk for an easy check-in process. Because of the convenience and excellent service, I extended my stay for an extra day. On the first day, I wasn't familiar with Elements Mall, but once I got my bearings, it was very easy to get around. To travel from Hong Kong to Macau or Zhuhai, you can simply take the cross-border bus from within Elements Mall, which is incredibly convenient!
