Taking the A11 bus from the airport drops you off a 3-minute walk away, making it exceptionally convenient for travelers with heavy luggage. • Great neighborhood convenience: Restaurants, convenience stores, and bars are all around the building, making dining, shopping, and nightlife super accessible. The Convention and Exhibition Centre, Causeway Bay, and other spots are also within walking distance or a short MTR ride away.

The hotel is located close to the bay with a nice environment. However, there are hardly any dining options nearby, and the restaurant downstairs is expensive and serves bad food. Since there are no other places to eat around, I wouldn't recommend it. While the bay view is a plus, the surrounding area is simply inconvenient. I heard it's a hotel for expectant mothers. This stay was a failure, and I won't be returning. The room facilities are also basic, but at least it's spacious. Given the price, I can't give it too harsh a review. In short, I don't recommend it unless you're looking for extreme quiet. The surrounding area is really inconvenient, and getting to the hotel itself isn't easy.

I stayed at Rambler Garden Hotel for a month, and overall, I had a great experience! The hotel was very clean, housekeeping came daily, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Peggy at reception (if I remember her name correctly) was especially kind, and I believe Kevin was another receptionist who was always friendly. The rooms don’t come with basic amenities like toothbrushes, and bottled water costs HK$5 downstairs. The hotel also provides a 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash, so I was glad I brought my own toiletries. Pool access costs HK$40. There’s a small plaza downstairs with a 7-Eleven, convenience store, and a few restaurants. The transport links are convenient, with buses 88F to Maritime Square and Tsing Yi MTR, and 88G to Kwai Fong. Hong Kong is generally expensive, but Rambler Garden offers great value for money, especially at its price point. I also had a pretty good view from my room! Despite a few minor inconveniences, I really enjoyed my month-long stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable hotel in Hong Kong.

Easily the best value-for-money hotel in Hong Kong. I was thrilled to stay in such a comfortable place at this price point. Mandarin is spoken here with zero communication barriers. Free luggage storage is available, and disposable toothbrushes are provided. Bottled water is not supplied, but you can buy it very cheaply at the Best Mart 360 in the mall upstairs.

The transportation is very convenient with a shuttle bus to Tsing Yi or Kwai Fong MTR stations. There are large shopping malls near the MTR stations, and the staff were extremely friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a 24-hour convenience store, restaurants, and a supermarket near the hotel, making it easy to buy daily necessities.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay! My friend and I originally booked a Sea View Room, but decided to pay an extra fee at the front desk to upgrade to a Deluxe Sea View Room. The view was expansive and absolutely stunning, and the room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was also quite large, featuring both a shower and a bathtub. The front desk staff were polite and helpful whenever we had questions. The infinity pool is a must-visit—we were pleasantly surprised to find a heated jacuzzi there, and watching the sunset and evening glow from that spot was pure bliss! The gym offered great views and well-equipped facilities. Although the hotel is not located near a subway station, the shuttle bus frequency is sufficient, making it quite convenient.

This is the best hotel! Speaking Mandarin as a mainland traveler is completely fine here! The only downside is that the hotel isn't very well-prepared for medical situations. When you feel unwell, they don't have much to offer besides advising you to go to the hospital, and there’s no shuttle service for that, so you just have to take a taxi. Everything else is a plus: First of all, a huge thank you to Dorsett Kai Tak for upgrading my room! The room was very spacious with a separate wet and dry bathroom. The shuttle bus is super convenient—just follow the timetable, and it drops you right off at the Airside MTR station. Airside was actually where we went most often for food. The shuttle bus staff were also wonderful and helped us with our luggage. The pool is open from around 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and the lifeguards are always on duty, which felt very professional. The breakfast area has a wide variety of food, plenty of space, and is kept spotless. If there’s even a small spill in the lobby, dedicated staff immediately come to clean it up—they even wipe down the condensation dripping from cold drinks onto the tables. That said, I hope you might consider the habits of mainland guests and provide some hot water options, including hot milk at breakfast. Thank you! You need a key card to access guest floors in the elevator, and the staff are genuinely warm and welcoming. I’m already back home now, and looking back on this trip, I'm truly grateful for our stay with you. Oh, and regarding the hotel's eco-friendly policy, disposable toothbrushes can be bought from the vending machine downstairs for just HK$1, which is super convenient. I highly recommend Dorsett Kai Tak! Every day, breakfast was what I looked forward to most—the BBQ pork buns (char siu bao) were absolutely delicious. I didn’t originally have the best impression of Hong Kong because I got heatstroke and the National Day crowds were overwhelming, but because of you, I'd gladly visit Hong Kong again. When choosing a hotel, I always check the bedding first because I have sensitive skin. I also prioritize transportation, location, and room cleanliness, and the Four Seasons Hotel satisfied all my expectations. The staff were friendly, the hotel pool had a great view, and the in-hotel restaurants and bar were also top-notch! The view from the room was also incredibly beautiful, making for a delightful trip. I was worried about the heat or typhoons since it was a July trip, but the weather was fantastic, and the fact that the IFC Mall is connected to the hotel made getting around easy, which made the trip even better. The hotel provides a free airport shuttle bus, and it is also about a 5–10 minute walk from Terminal 2 via a covered, air-conditioned footbridge. For travelers who prefer not to drag their luggage straight into the city upon arrival and want to rest and recharge for a night before starting their trip, this location is a huge plus. The hotel feels very new overall, and the check-in process was smooth. The guest rooms feature some of the familiar design language of Regal-affiliated hotels—clean lines, comfortable space planning, and a genuinely functional desk. I particularly appreciated this: unlike some hotels in Hong Kong that sacrifice overall spaciousness and dignity to compress square footage, even the smaller room types here still give you the feeling that you could comfortably stay for a few days, rather than just ”sleep and go.” The room is also well-executed in terms of ergonomic details. I liked the consistent, standardized elements shared with other Regal properties like iclub—such as the sleek modern design and Regal Living toiletries. For guests familiar with the hotel group, this consistency builds strong brand recognition. There are a few minor suggestions that I only really noticed after staying for a few days. First, the extensive use of marble, glass, and reflective mirrors certainly enhances the sense of cleanliness, spaciousness, and the modern vibe befitting SKYCITY. However, if you stay for several consecutive days, the overall ambiance in some areas can feel a bit cold. Especially as winter approaches, adding a touch of warmth through carpets, textiles, or soft furnishings—without disrupting the original design—would make the living experience feel more complete. Second, the bathroom area lacks convenient spots for hanging bath towels or a change of clothes. Adding one or two hooks or a rack would be a small but very practical upgrade. Third, the room type I booked was labeled as a Garden View, but the window actually looks out mainly onto the pool. The view itself is fine, but due to lines of sight from certain angles to the pool area, guests who value privacy and like to keep their curtains wide open during the day might find it a bit different from their usual understanding of a ”garden view.” Making the room category names or view descriptions slightly more precise would make it easier for guests when booking. The self-service laundry room is a facility I really liked, which is especially practical for long-term guests or anyone needing to do laundry during their trip. However, the service flow on-site could be a bit more seamless—for instance, clearly stating whether laundry detergent needs to be brought by guests or can be purchased at the front desk, or setting up a small vending machine for single-use laundry pods. For guests staying just a night or two who arrive by plane, they usually don't travel with a full pack of laundry supplies. Bridging this final step would make the whole experience much smoother. The lobby also features some fun and easily overlooked details, such as a self-service photo printer and a remarkably quiet business center. The business center is in a great spot with views of the hotel entrance and passing vehicles, making it ideal for a quick work session or just sitting for a while. On the flip side, airflow in certain lobby areas still has room for improvement; areas like the lounge with the elephant art installation and some of the restaurant booth seating can feel a bit stuffy and warm when you linger for a while. Breakfast was a highlight of this stay. The selection was rich and practical, featuring both Chinese and Western options, alongside local Hong Kong-style breakfast items such as siu mai, glutinous rice chicken, custard buns, and congee. Parts of the bakery section were also labeled as homemade—details like this show that the hotel isn't just serving up a standardized international breakfast, but actually retains a bit of its own F&B identity. Design-wise, I loved the overall streamlined flow of the hotel and the use of water, fire, and natural imagery throughout the space. This fluid, futuristic design language fits the SKYCITY airport-city concept wonderfully, without completely disconnecting from the surrounding mountains and seas of Lantau Island. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and highly efficient. All in all, these are just minor suggestions and in no way detract from a comfortable stay. On the contrary, I feel the greatest value of Regala Skycity Hotel is that it offers a very mature option for ”post-arrival recovery”: you don't have to plunge straight into city transit right after getting off a plane; instead, you can check in, shower, eat, rest, and recover your energy before starting your Hong Kong itinerary the next day. For me, this isn't just a ”hotel near the airport,” but a genuinely useful travel hub. Whenever I return to Hong Kong in the future, I would gladly choose to stay here again if the itinerary permits 😙
