The hotel's location is great, super convenient for taking the subway or a taxi. Everything about it is excellent, really good value for money! The staff are enthusiastic and lively, providing fantastic service. They really understand what young people are looking for. Not only do they patiently answer all your questions, but they also proactively recommend sightseeing and dining routes, making you feel as comfortable as if you were with friends. The travel package I booked also had no complicated procedures, making the whole trip easy and relaxed. Downstairs from the hotel, there are BBQ spots, local specialty snacks, and even trendy网红 (wanghong/influencer-style) shops, all just a few minutes' walk away. Carbs galore, a paradise for carb lovers!!! Xi'an's noodles are truly delicious 😋😋😋😋😋😋 Overall, whether you're traveling with company or solo, this place is an unparalleled choice. I highly recommend staying here!

Hotel foyer on 5th floor, large modern room. Easy 15-20min walk to the Bell and Drum towers and Muslim quarter. Easy access to city wall. The art district near the pagoda was also 5mins walk away, and offered a large selection of artists selling their paintings and calligraphy which I hadnt seen before at the normal tourist areas. Restaurant served a good selection for breakfast both Chinese and English.

Absolutely fantastic! The breakfast was delicious, especially the spicy rice noodles, which were excellent. Our room was spacious, bright, and incredibly clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel's location is superb, very close to the Bell Tower and other attractions, with two subway entrances nearby, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Upon check-in, we received a fresh fruit plate, and when we checked out, we were given a farewell gift. What truly surprised us was that in addition to the balcony in our room, there was also a huge open terrace outside the lobby. Last night, we went to the scenic terrace to watch the sunset, and directly opposite was the city wall – it was incredibly atmospheric and beautiful, perfect for photos! The terrace is gorgeous, with many trees planted. Staying here offers a unique experience. For this price, it would be hard to find another place that offers such a great experience!

The location alone makes this place worth booking -- walkable to nearly everything, which is rare and genuinely valuable The room had a few surprises compared to the listing photos, including carpet rather than the hard floors shown, and a smaller window than expected. For guests with sensitivities, worth noting ahead of time. The room ran a little dark, but the quiet of a high floor at the end of the hall more than made up for it. Bathroom is functional with standard toiletries. Would love to see better ventilation and a bidet added in a future update -- we are in Asia after all. Wi-Fi was inconsistent during my stay, which was the one real frustration. The wins were real though: guest-controlled AC (a genuine rarity in China), a comfortable bed, impressively soft towels, linen slippers, a proper tea set, and an air purifier. As an English-speaking guest I appreciated the card with key hotel information in English and the one English news channel -- small gestures that meant a lot after weeks without hearing the language. The Blue Mountain instant coffee was a welcome touch. Housekeeping leaves a daily note with who cleaned and the next day's weather -- small detail, big impression. My housekeeper was especially warm during a stretch when I wasn't feeling well. The front desk and reception staff were consistently kind throughout my stay. Solid stay with a location that's hard to beat.

The hygiene was good. I originally booked a windowless room (my oversight), but the front desk upgraded me to a room with a window for the second night free of charge. I didn't even have to move my luggage myself! The service was excellent and very friendly. The best part is its proximity to the Yongning Gate of the city wall; you can see it from the hotel entrance and it's just a few minutes' walk away, making it super convenient for getting around!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's the best hotel near Chuangxin Port!! The commute is super convenient, the service is excellent, and it's very close to the university. The best part is the room design – it's incredibly well-thought-out! There's a fridge, a desk, a huge shower head, and even a separate vanity mirror and dressing table! Ji Hotel really understands what guests need!

Stepping into the lobby, I was greeted by two lovely young ladies who provided patient and detailed service. Since it was exam season, the parking lot was full, but they quickly opened up the last spot right by the entrance for me. The room was quite clean, and the bedding felt fresh with a faint scent of detergent, bathed in perfect sunshine ☀️. For the timing, the price was excellent value for money. Downstairs, there's also their own foot massage parlor and a halal restaurant. There are many small eateries downstairs, but the hygiene and taste were just average, so I wouldn't recommend them.

The service was excellent; anything I needed was quickly handled by the front desk. This stay truly exceeded my expectations, and I definitely have to give it a five-star rating! From the moment I walked in until I left, every detail made me feel comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient with the check-in process, and they were very considerate. My room was spotless, the bedding was soft and cozy, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing me to get a rare good night's sleep. Plus, the hotel's location is convenient, with plenty of amenities nearby. Both the service and the facilities were top-notch. I will absolutely choose this hotel again next time I visit this city, and I'll recommend it to all my friends!

GGuest UserThis hotel is said to be the only one of its kind in Xi'an, and one of only two in Asia. I decided to give it a try for one night, and overall, I had a good experience. First, the environment: it's located in the former People's Mansion, within its own large courtyard, providing a quiet retreat from the bustling city. There's even a fountain downstairs. The hotel's designer is Chinese, but it boasts a French style. It was originally built during the Soviet aid era to host Soviet experts, so it likely incorporates elements from Chinese, French, and Russian cultures. About 90% of the guests are foreigners, possibly French, though I couldn't really tell. The room decor is quite elegant, not modern. The facilities and amenities are good, but some furniture and the floor show obvious signs of wear. The staff are all young and provide excellent, smiling service. Breakfast was just so-so; it seems more geared towards foreigners. For Chinese guests, the variety is quite limited, and it pales in comparison to the breakfasts at InterContinental, Four Seasons, and especially the Ritz-Carlton. But then again, each hotel has its own unique characteristics. All in all, it's a hotel worth staying at!

BBuyanThe service was alright! There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the hotel breakfast was decent – it's the 'Carb Capital' after all, you'll definitely eat well here! The room felt a bit cramped overall, but the cleanliness was acceptable. However, water would leak into the room when showering. My room was pretty quiet, so I slept well even with the bustling downtown area nearby. As for amenities, it seems there's no smart speaker (like Xiaodu), so you have to manually turn the lights on and off. Parking was fine. Lastly, the lamb paomo (flatbread in lamb soup) nearby was delicious, but the price was similar to Shanghai. It's probably best to find those smaller, out-of-the-way shops; the taste should be similar but the price better.

GGuest UserWe rent a total 5 rooms 5 night total of 10 people trip. The front desk has provided an excellent job and very good in keeping up in touch with us before, during and during emergency time. Good communication and gave us a free shuttle ride from the airport to the hotel. Due to the flight cancel, the front desk also helps us to rebook anothet of stay. Helping us to send a parcel. One of my friend forgot his very valueble item in the room. By the time my friend realised this. He already 100 miiles away from the hotel. We called the front desk. And the front desk helped us by live video communication and searching thru out the room. And found the item. 100% and i will recommend this hotel. Good worker Very clean room, toilet very clean

SSino NgA perfect experience beyond comparison! MEILIE Ling B&B (Bell Tower & Muslim Quarter Branch) was the biggest surprise of my trip to Xi’an, and it made me fall head over heels for this city. My housekeepers Cindy and Kevin responded promptly and efficiently. The entire team delivered warm, thoughtful service and took great care of us throughout our stay, delivering an outstanding experience. The property boasts luxurious and elegant decor with impeccable design taste; every detail of the furnishings and facilities is exquisitely crafted. The bed linens offer exceptional comfort for a great night’s sleep. The bathroom is equipped with premium Le Labo toiletries, a Dyson hair dryer, and a classic Marshall speaker — a full lineup of high-end branded amenities that speak for themselves in quality. The daily breakfast and late-night snacks are made with quality ingredients and taste fantastic, warming both body and heart. I rarely eat meals provided by accommodation venues normally, yet I ended up enjoying full portions every single day here. The staff went all out to fulfill every request efficiently, with sincere and reliable service. We also received a lovely souvenir gift upon check-out, bringing one delightful surprise after another. This stay far exceeded all my expectations, hitting the ceiling in both value for money and overall experience. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Xi’an!

TTinaMThis is a lovely hotel with kind, welcoming staff. I read some reviews saying the rooms are very old etc, but I don't see how that makes this hotel any less great - the rooms are still clean and well maintained. I arrived in Xi'an after 48 hours of hectic traveling due to a missed train, and the staff at Meihao Hotel were very welcoming, were happy to use translation apps to communicate with me. The room was large, with a view of the neighbourhood outside (mostly just traffic jams haha, but that's Xi'an). The location may not be super ideal for some as it isn't in the city centre, but honestly it was no inconvenience at all, as the nearest subway station is a brisk walk away -- about 5-7 minutes. If you're arriving by train and carrying a lot of heavy luggage, then yes, coming via subway might be a bit of a challenge (but not impossible!) The housekeeping staff especially were very warm and kind. Thank you for always brightening my day when I walked by you all. A few hours after I checked in, a lovely staff member knocked on my door and offered me a small bowl of soup. I was very confused as I hadn't ordered anything, but upon seeing other guests were receiving this too, I gladly accepted. It was such an unexpected, kind gesture -- this hotel truly knows how to make one feel welcome. I fell ill on the second day of my stay, and thankfully the room was so comfortable, I could recuperate well. My only complaint is that the bedsheets, comforter, pillowcases etc -- all the bedding essentially smells of cigarette smoke. I could also smell cigarette smoke from beyond my room's door at night. This was despite there being a clear sign in the room saying smoking was not allowed inside. Though this is certainly not something you can fault hotel staff for (if guests are adamant to smoke inside, what can housekeeping possibly do?), I just thought I would mention this for any other guests who might be very sensitive to the smell, perhaps you could request staff to rewash the bedding until the smoke smell is entirely gone. After checking out, I also noticed there were some freebies that were part of my booking that I unfortunately missed out on :( There was meant to be welcome fruit, afternoon tea for two and a midnight snack, which I would have loved to try. There was no welcome fruit offered, but I did receive some refreshing juice when I arrived to check in -- it was a hot day and I was grateful for the welcome drink. For the other stuff, as I didn't realise it was part of the booking perks, I never asked, and consequently seem to have missed out. I also want to say that aside from the rooms, the lobby area is quite lovely -- very tastefully decorated, peaceful, and I even saw they had some free coffee out for guests! I only noticed this when I was checking out though, and my taxi was already on the way to pick me up, so I could not indulge. Maybe it would be helpful if the reception staff could share all this info with guests when they check in, especially with the foreign guests who are already a bit confused and trying to get their bearings ^-^ Just a suggestion! Thank you for a nice stay. I will definitely be back again soon.

SSuibianguangguangH123Exceeded my expectations! The hotel staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, fulfilling all our requests promptly. The location is excellent, right within the scenic area, allowing us to re-enter Changqing Palace daily. It's also very close to the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance, and the hotel can even help with booking tickets. On our first day, the staff disinfected the room right in front of us. They even filled the hot spring bath for us around 7 PM and drained it after we finished. Plus, they served a delicious white fungus soup in the evening. My child absolutely loved our two nights here and found it very comfortable. I'll definitely return when my child is a bit older, perhaps in winter, to experience Changqing Palace in a different light. By then, my child should also be able to appreciate the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow.' (Attached is a photo of the small cake my child made with the hotel staff's guidance).

VValarie474After two dozen-plus countries, I've learned to judge a hotel less by the room and more by the staff, because no room is ever perfect and you have to pick your battles. This place is one of the rare cases where I didn't have to sacrifice either. I was given a room I genuinely loved. The front desk even called after check-in to make sure I was happy, and I was. Around day four, a neighbor threw a party (smoking in the hallway, doors slamming, the works), and rather than make me deal with it, the staff moved me immediately to make my stay more comfortable. The second room didn't feel as good to me, and when I told the front desk I couldn't settle or sleep, they moved me a third time without any pushback. I ended up just as happy as I was in the first room, entirely because the front desk clearly cared about getting it right. A genuine shout-out to the gentleman at the front desk (not sure if he's the manager). One person, but he single-handedly turned my opinion around. There was almost always an English speaker on duty. I had exactly one bad interaction: I went down to the desk in the early evening and the woman there just said ”I don't speak English” and left me standing there. No attempt to translate on her phone, nothing. But that was a single person on a single occasion, and everyone else was great. A few honest heads-ups: The address situation is a real problem. If you use the American version of Alipay, food delivery and DiDi cannot find this place. The listed address pulls up a different location, the hotel name pulls up yet another, and on Trip.com the hotel name even changes between the English and local-language versions. I lost one food delivery entirely and nearly lost a second (the front desk walked me over to another part of the building to help find it). I started attaching a photo with an arrow pointing to the entrance every time I ordered. Reception is on the fourth floor and the entrance is genuinely hard to find. It took me 30 minutes my first day, so I'm amazed any driver located me at all. The beds are firm, the hardest I've slept on in China and very American in feel. If you like a softer mattress, know that going in. It's fine, just not plush. The water gets hotter than any hotel I've stayed at, and you can fill the tub completely for a proper soak after a 25,000-step day. I only wish they provided Epsom salt, though almost no hotel does. Bring your own razors and conditioner. Other hotels included razors in the bathroom kit; this one doesn't. I'll be back in the area, and I'll be staying here again for a significantly longer stretch. When I do, I'll be requesting either my first or third room, because both were perfect.

JJ4ckyService: 10/10 What an amazing stay here at the Intercontinental, stayed here for 4 nights in the Deluxe King room. Arrived and checked in late at 12AM, the staff were pleasant and respectful, quick and got me settled in. The staff were very attentive and service just impeccable - consistent in greetings at each turn and always double even triple checking if you require and help. Room: 8/10 The rooms are clean, and cleaned on a daily. The cleaning lady was incredibly attentive, on the first night I asked for more water as the room only came with two, consistently day after day they left 4 bottles for me which was really appreciated on my part - it’s a minor thing but it really elevates the experience. Room is quiet, can’t hear a thing from the opposite rooms. Occasionally there are some sounds from the door but it’s really unnoticeable. Shower; the only reason why i didn’t give it full marks. Maybe it’s personal preference but the water does not seem to get hot enough, the water pressure on the shower head seems a bit lacking. Nevertheless though, don’t let that deter you from booking as it’s still an overall great stay. Tub; no complaints, water runs hot, what better way to relax and kick back after a day of being a tourist and walking 20k. Location: 10/10 I think this one is completely subjective to personal preference. The location is in the midst of white collar working towers so there is quite a bit of traffic. There is a subway station close by as well -though I never used it as I took a Didi 100% of the time. A mall is nearby within walking distance but again didn’t go. Most commutes by didi take 20-30 minutes due to the traffic but honestly looking at the Westin or other hotels in prime tourist locations (ex. Pagoda , bell tower etc) there is sooo much traffic and noise as they have so many different activities happening there. For me this location have me back some silence after a long day out. Atmosphere: 10/10 The hotel is beautifully decorated, cleaned throughout. Jo Malone fragrances in every elevator. It was such a relaxing atmosphere to be in. Breakfast: 10/10 If you can, give the breakfast a try. There’s a huge variety of Xi’an delectables you can try, from the roujiamo, liangpi etc that are available plus a mixture of western food. The staff I must commend once more are incredibly attentive and always try to make your experience better. Final thoughts - highly recommend the intercontinental Xi’an for your next stay. I truly enjoyed it and would recommend it for those coming for a 5 star experience!
