3-Star Hotels in Niigata Prefecture, Japan

Everything was smooth and pleasant from check-in to check-out. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning couldn’t be switched to cooling, as the hotel uses a central HVAC system that provides heating during the autumn season. Since the windows couldn’t be opened to let in cool air, the room felt a bit warm at times. Other than that, everything else was comfortable and enjoyable.

Check in and out is fast. Being part of JR Train Group gave it immediate accessibility in same building in 2 to 4 minutes. Hotel lobby 3rd floor is same floor with JR entrance. Besides Seven Eleven store and about 40 meters distance walking to Yoshinoya. Many food shops around South ,West,East entrance. Bic Camera just across street. Room is ok with bath separated from toilet.

Comfort Hotel is a standard business hotel, close to the station, and has always been one of my best choices for travel. Welcome coffee and drinks are provided, all necessary facilities are available, and breakfast is also included. My favorite breakfast items are blueberries and scrambled eggs. After a satisfying meal, you can continue your travels!

The service is very good, with free drink coupons. You can also go to the same hotel next door to experience the ceramic steam bath for 500 days, which is quite comfortable. The room is indeed small for a temporary stay. It is less than a five-minute walk from the station and convenient for eating. The big camera next door has everything, and there are many restaurants nearby.

I often use this hotel because it's cheaper than using a shuttle to get home when I go out drinking in Furumachi! The front desk staff are also very kind.

It's close to Nagaoka Station and you can get there without getting wet. You can also use the large public bath, and the women's room has a PIN code, so it's safe. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, so I'm glad it was included.

Great location, within 5mins walking distance from Niigata station. There are nearby convenience stores. The place also seemed to be recently renovated and is well maintained. Staff service was good. affordable breakfast buffet option is also available. The food was very good, the locally sourced rice is excellent.

Friendly and helpful staff. Hearty complimentary breakfast. Would be better if bottle of water were offered in the room.

I often stay at Livemax when I travel to other regions. It's very close, about a 3-minute walk from Niigata Station after taking the direct limousine bus from the airport. The return bus stop for the airport, number 18, is also nearby, so it's easy to move around even with a suitcase. The front desk staff are very polite in their explanations. Since it was just one night, the room was spacious enough, most amenities were included, and the facilities had been newly replaced, so it was comfortable. Also, there is a microwave here, so it's great to be able to heat up the local food you take home! The elevators are crowded at check-out time, as mentioned in the reviews, but I checked out at 9:50 and it didn't affect me. I think it's fine as long as you check out a little outside of peak hours. If I have the chance to come to Niigata, I'll use it again.

The room, hot springs, and the entire building were all clean and it was a pleasant stay. The flower decorations in the building were also very cute. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and even gave us information about the yukata size. I would like to stay here again.
