The reception was very helpful. They kept our luggage for two days after we checked out. There’s a nice pizza restaurant across the hotel and we loved the pasta & pizzas. The room was clean and had a small balcony where we watched the stars. The plugs were old ones with three holes so make sure you have the right adapter.

The room I had was clean( not a big room but I don't mind) the bed was comfortable, had a shower, aircon, a television set, anything that you would expect from a hotel room to have. The hotel is close to a supermarket and there's quite a few bus stops nearby, also just a 10 minute walk to Treviso Centrale railway station, and about the same to get to Treviso bus station. Quite a nice and safe area. Down sides: The water in the shower was not hot, even to get it very warm it took a good 5 minutes which was a little odd, besides I was starting to get a little cold as a result of that, the water on the bathroom tap seemed hot enough though. There was a smell in the room when I got in, similar to mold/sewer smell, but then I kept the window opened for 40 minutes and I could not smell it anymore. The TV was impossible to set up, even if I have followed the instructions provided I could not do it, I don't know if there was something wrong with the TV or it was me doing something wrong.

Lovely hotel, super convenient to public transportations to both Venice and Venice Mestre station. The room is larger than photos. It is acceptably quiet even on the ground level. Hotel staff are super nice, they even helped me with heavy luggages. A few things to make this place better; 1. Ensure to have complete list of what needs to be in the room. For example, my room didn’t have kettle. 2. There are missing spots left uncleaned, bathroom ventilation fan, and glass door, for example. 3. Please check hair dryer. 4. Some smokers (ignored the sign) left the door to parking lot opened…cigarette smells got into the hotel.

Clean enough for the old building and great location to look around the island! We arrived a bit later than check-in hours but easily managed to get in thanks to the helpful staff. Just be aware that they don’t have shampoo and conditioner like stuffs. Also chocolate croissant was very nice… 🥐

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Carlton Capri! The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained throughout my visit. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the train station and very convenient for exploring Venice. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. I truly appreciated their kindness and professionalism. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful, which made it perfect for rest after a full day of sightseeing. The amenities were excellent as well: comfortable bed, strong Wi-Fi, good air conditioning. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe and well taken care of. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way and I would happily return. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Venice!

Due to the airline's flight transfer, we were additionally forced (2 people) to stay in Venice for one night, namely, from April 30 to May 1, 2025. Previously (7 nights) we stayed in Venice at the Casa Caburlotto hotel. The choice fell on the Tiziano hotel, because it was 10 minutes from the first hotel. Booked through Trip.com. Payment in rubles. The price without breakfast is 14,326.00 R (136.4 €). Compared to Casa Caburlotto (price per night 14,289.4 R with a very modest breakfast), the Tiziano hotel wins by a wide margin in all respects at almost the same price!!! The hotel is located in the Dorsudoro area, not far from the train station, on a quiet street, but the truth is, we were not accommodated in the main building of the hotel, but in a house on the opposite side of the street, which also belongs to the hotel, and at night there was a little noise from another street, where there was a bar. The hotel is beautiful, fashionable, the rooms are spacious, beautiful design, everything you need and even more. Super class! There are breakfasts in the hotel. The only thing is that we were accommodated on the first floor, and there are low ceilings and not much light, since the window is small, compared to the second and third floors, where there are high ceilings and large windows. Therefore, it is better to settle on the second and third floors. But the hotel is very good and decent. We liked it. The girl at the reception helped us do online check-in for the plane and printed out boarding passes. Special thanks to her! The rating for the hotel and staff is 9.5 points!!! I RECOMMEND!!!

It was perfect! A single small downside on the room from which there was no daylight passing (dark) so much it was landlocked at the corner of a small alley, but spending our days outside it was not at all disturbing, it was very pretty, pleasant, modern, comfortable and functional! I also recommend the restaurant part which is delicious and the staff was available and pleasant

The hotel reception blamed Trip.com, saying they should not and cannot charge the city tax, and then asked me to pay again. Overall, I had a good experience at the hotel, but the reception staff need better training. When I checked out, the receptionist asked me to pay the city tax. I told her that my booking clearly included the city tax, but she kept insisting that what I had prepaid did not cover it. At that moment, I couldn’t find the booking receipt in my email, so I couldn’t show her proof right away. Because she kept saying I was wrong, my teenage son started to believe her and argued with me, saying, “If she asks for it, just pay, it’s only €14.” This was upsetting, not because of the money, but because it set the wrong example for my son. In the end, I paid the €14 again and then took about 10 minutes to search through my email. When I finally found the booking receipt, I went back to show it to her — proving that I was right and the city tax had already been included. At that point, she asked someone else for help (possibly a manager), and instead of apologizing, they blamed Trip.com, saying I should ask the agent for a refund. I later contacted Trip.com, and they processed the refund without any issues. I’ve used Trip.com many times before, and I’ve never had a problem like this. The real issue here is not the money but the lack of professionalism at the hotel reception.

The owner was friendly and welcoming. Although there's no elevator, he helped us carry our luggage upstairs and provided maps and transportation options. There are many restaurants nearby, and it's not far from major attractions. The room was very clean and tidy, and the housekeeping was prompt. (^^*)

PPranav Patil PHu Venezia Camping Hotel – A Practical & Surprising Base for Venice My grate stay at the Hu Venezia Camping Hotel. It offers incredible value and fantastic facilities, making it a great choice for travelers on a budget. The Accommodation: Think of the rooms as clean, modern wooden cabins. They are compact and very basic – essentially a ”wooden box” as described, but they have the essential: a comfortable bed, a roof, and a powerful air conditioner. The cleaning is provided once a week, which is perfect for longer stays. The Resort & USP: The Amazing Pool Complex This is where the hotel truly shines. The property is massive and feels like a resort. The centrepiece is the huge, fantastic swimming pool, which is easily the hotel's Unique Selling Point (USP). It’s a major plus for families, as there's a dedicated area for children, and for adults looking to cool off and relax after a long day of sightseeing in crowded Venice. The overall atmosphere and interior landscaping of the hotel are really beautiful. It's green, well-maintained, and has a great vibe that makes you forget you're just outside a major city. Food & Drink There is an on-site restaurant where you can buy affordable meals, snacks, and drinks. A key point to note: there is no room service. The practical approach is to grab your food and take it back to enjoy on your patio or in your room. Also, be aware that coffee sachets are not provided in the room. If you're a coffee lover, I highly recommend bringing your own or buying some at the reception/restaurant. Location & Connectivity The location is practical for accessing Venice without paying premium prices. · Shuttle Service: The hotel offers a very convenient shuttle bus to Tronchetto (the gateway to Venice's water transport) every 30 minutes for a reasonable €5 return trip. · Walking to Venice Mestre: A major discovery was that the Venezia Mestre train station is absolutely within walking distance (about 1.9km or 20-25 minutes). The walk is very safe, even early in the morning (we walked at 5 AM without any issues). This is a huge money-saver for getting trains to Venice Santa Lucia or other cities. Overall, the Hu Venezia Camping Hotel offers outstanding value for money. Get access to a fantastic resort-style pool and easy connections to Venice.

AAdam23We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that it’s three stars in Venice—which is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations. You won’t find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choice—and she turned out to be absolutely right! We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed. The amenities were excellent—truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in time—in the best way possible. A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated. Lastly, the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus. All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was right—it really is a great choice!

GGuest UserWe arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor. I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases. The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though we were told it would. The bedroom had multiple squashed mosquitos on the walls next to the bed. The lace curtain had a couple of cigarette burns on it. The bedcover had a cigarette burn on it. The telephone handset cable was not connected to the .telephone - I tried to fix it but it wouldn't stay in the socket. The safe was not working. The instructions to use the safe were so old & worn out you couldn't read them. The shower wouldn't work properly, so I had to call the person in reception to assist us in getting it working. You had to get out of the shower cubicle to retrieve shower gel/shampoo/soap. There was nowhere in the shower to put these items. There was no room in the shower at all. I moved the stool in the bathroom to put my shower gel on it & two legs fell off the stool. The toilet roll holder wouldn't hold the toilet roll and it kept falling off. The bathroom bin was broken and filthy The breakfast ran until 10 am, the bread ran out & was not replaced & this was before 9 am. I am a travel agent & book many guests to stay in cities around the world including Venice I was upset that this hotel was an extremely poor standard and felt like it ruined the end of my beautiful holiday in Italy. We would be extremely grateful if you could offer us a credit for our next hotel booking with trip.com, we are in the process of booking our November Asia tour. Kindest regards

SShaogangSunHotel location is very close to the train station, the counter staff service is also very good, the overall space is very clean and tidy, but the room is not very soundproof, it is obvious that someone can hear the sound at around 8 o'clock during the day, but basically everyone is very quiet at night, the whole hotel has only five rooms, It's not too messy.

HHJaraWhat a pleasant surprise! Location is great only 5 minutes walk from train station. There is one bridge to walk over, easy enough to do with a luggage bag and depending on the time of day/night there are baggage porters at the station whom can take the luggage for a small fee (approximately $5 per bag) Rooms smaller in size approx 19sqm fitted a Queen and single just enough room to accommodate our minimal time spent in it mostly sleeping as we were out and about exploring anything and everything. No view but window could open and the AC worked well. Small TV and the shower over bath was a bonus also had body wash and hand wash, towels with heated towel rack. Again small but enough for what we needed. View rooms also available. Level 1 and 2 have stairs (no lift) but the staff will assist if you ask however everyone including us took our own luggage. Great checkin and then meet Angel the following morning whom was able to extend us for two more nights and keep us in the same room. The breakfast was ample consisting of tea/coffee,juice, fruits, pastries, bread with options to toast, deli plate hams, cheeses, tomatoes and the usual Nutella,Jams etc my favourite yogurt and granola/oats. Best of all location, get a 24,48 or longer public boat pass to use throughout your stay and also takes you to Murano and Burano. Location,Location,Location!

GGuest UserThe hotel was fine. Entarnce stairs could be a problem for people with large luggage. Staff helpful, mostly Italians. Room small with window but on the ground floor which hosts restaurant as well. Because of that, in the morning, there was nois made by people walking for breakfast. Room clean, despite usual mould in the bathroom because of lack of proper vent. Great localisation. Worth consideration for a city sightseeing.
