KKarenGThis is a good choice for budget travelers for a one or two night stay. Hotel is in a central location (set back from the road so look out for the signs on the main street) , 2 km from Kutaisi train station and 10 minutes to city centre . The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Wifi is good, beds are comfortable, room is well heated. There is a balcony which we didn’t use but would be nice in the summer months . Breakfast was plentiful and hearty. There were two negatives for us. The balcony door didn’t lock and there were no English speaking staff on premises. I was checked in over the phone by the manager and her number is posted on the door. The next morning we were able to ask the lady who cooked our breakfast if we could store our bags for a few hours, we managed ok with translator. However if you needed help to call a taxi or for anything else this was not available, which might be an issue for some travelers . I also wasn’t sure how secure our bags were for the time we were gone, perhaps a locked cupboard or storage area would be better. Having said all that however I would stay at the hotel again because it was excellent value for money

SShanzhiguThe hotel was in a town on the way to Batumi, right next to the attractions. The pictures online were accurate, and the environment, facilities, and service were all excellent. Breakfast was also included. It was great value for money and highly recommended. 👍👍

JJoy——We absolutely loved this hotel!! Sofia was warm and friendly, and the breakfast was abundant. There is a swing on the third-floor balcony, where you can enjoy beautiful night views. The dog by the entrance is lovely as well. The hotel is not far from central Kutaisi, which is super convenient for self-driving guests, and parking is available right at the front door. We hope to visit again sometime.

BBOUKHATEMI spent four absolutely perfect nights at the Hotel Varla. The room was magnificent, spacious, and tastefully decorated, as was the bathroom, which was modern and spotless. The bedding was of excellent quality, guaranteeing very restful nights. The hotel's tranquility was particularly appreciated, ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The cleanliness was impeccable, the location very convenient, and the service attentive without being intrusive. A hotel I recommend without hesitation and where I will gladly return.
