Excellent hotel with awesome staff. Ruby was amazing during my checking in, and other front desk staff were very helpful in providing insights to help me with my travel plans e.g. with booking my message therapy after a long hike.
The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were very delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend Ibis Quito.
The environment is really nice. There is also fruit, bread and juice breakfast available. It is more than ten minutes away from the airport. The airport taxi costs ten dollars. The accommodation room environment is just like that when you see the hotel entrance (basically all hotels in Quito are like this). The service is very good. When checking in, the taxi driver held up his mobile phone. When I got into the car, the clerk helped me contact the taxi company. Half an hour later, the taxi driver returned the phone and I paid the clerk a thank you fee of ten dollars.
Very comfortable. The room is very spacious, with good views and has everything you may need. The breakfast is very complete and very good. The area is very quiet and the guy at reception very nice. We will repeat.
Beautiful hotel 4 KM from the Airport. Wonderful and kind management. Rooftops have great views at sunset. Only complaint was bathroom light was automatically on, and very bright, at 3:00 am, was a surprise. The little cafe up the street and to the right has wholesome food. Both are nicely priced.
The room is very large and beautiful, the floor height is very high, the roof is very beautiful, in the city center, surrounded by attractions, breakfast is OK, continue to live here next time
The price is still very recommended! The hotel environment and location are very good, there is always a police inspection at the door, the security is also good, the pharmacy and various restaurants are out, the Carolina Park is a few minutes walk, our family of three set a twin room, the hotel upgraded the family room for free to us, American breakfast tastes good, Anyway, very satisfied! grateful!
The breakfast was good, the room was clean and clean, the quilt was a bit thick, the room was not air-conditioned, the cover was a bit hot, there were big parks around, big supermarkets and shopping centers were not far from the hotel.
A nice hotel, a very large room, a shower and a jacuzzi, they brought water and coffee, and gave you an adapter for the outlet. The hairdryer was taped shut, though. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, and bubble bath. But there were no slippers or robes. For some reason, there weren't enough towels; they were small, but overall they were adequate and changed daily.
I wouldn't recommend their restaurant (in the hotel): the pizza was okay, but the soup and pasta were completely unimpressive, and I felt sick afterwards. It's better to check out nearby places with good ratings and go there. Breakfast is okay, not the most varied, but you won't go hungry.
Very good, nail new, business hotel directly in the airport. Ideal for a further trip. It was all top. Breakfast buffet very varied and delicious. The staff very friendly. We had a good price.
Unfortunately, 10% of the additional taxes were not visible when booking.
The bad thing was the chekin I could not make the entry within the hours established in this case at 10am because there were no rooms available. It took 1 hour to finally deliver the room I had reserved.

Absolutely Outstanding Stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette!
My stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette was nothing short of exceptional. It’s by far the cleanest hotel in all of Ecuador—absolutely spotless in every corner. The entire property is beautifully maintained, quiet, and filled with elegant touches that make it feel both luxurious and welcoming.
The staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and truly professional. They offered excellent local recommendations and always treated me with kindness and care.
The location is ideal—tucked in a peaceful part of La Mariscal, just a short walk from Plaza Foch and some of Quito’s best restaurants and shops. My room was quiet, stylish, and very comfortable, with a serene garden view that made me feel instantly relaxed.
Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. The entire experience felt safe, polished, and perfectly cared for.
If you’re looking for elegance, cleanliness, and world-class service, Hotel Villa Lafayette is simply the best choice in Ecuador. I would return in a heartbeat!

DDavid AtabekyanThe hotel is not guilty that the city authorities cannot provide security in the center of the capital. The hotel itself is incredible, very beautiful, very comfortable, incredibly stylish and lovely decorated. Breakfast on the veranda with a beautiful view, the breakfast itself is small but delicious, bread is very soft and fresh.
What you need to know is the hotel doors are always closed if you come at night you need to warn you to wait in the hotel as this area of the city is not very safe. My arrival was at 3 nights, I had to ask the taxi driver to stand next to me while I was calling the door and until I was opened if I was left alone to me would be disturbing. The room has a big window and balcony but it also has to keep closed because of security. I understand well that hotel staff are very eager to make you feel safe and comfortable inside but can 't affect the situation outside the hotel
JJeremy LeeeeThe facilities at this hotel are somewhat outdated, and the decor feels a bit old-fashioned. It would be great to see some modernization in these areas. That said, the view from the upper floors is fantastic and definitely a highlight of the stay. Additionally, the breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and tasty options. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but upgrading the facilities and decor would significantly improve the stay.

EElena EgAmazing place. I didn't know either Spanish or English but I was covered with so much attention and concern that I didn't feel any problems in communication. The hotel is warm and quiet, homey.
I was set up 2 hours earlier.
In the room every day was done a wet cleaning.
Breakfasts were delicious with natural juice and fresh fruit. In the evening you can eat deliciously at the restaurant.
I would like to come back here and feel the attention and care of these people
GGuest UserA wonderful hotel! Very friendly and caring hosts! Cozy. Clean. They helped me with everything. Elena helped me find excursions to the volcano. The rooms are very beautiful. The inner garden is beautiful. The location is good. I highly recommend this hotel. And I am very grateful to the hosts!
Kkevie520The hotel is in a good location. There is a supermarket downstairs for shopping, and it is not far from the bus station. You can take the bus to the Quito City Museum. There is a hospital next to the museum where you can get yellow fever vaccinations. The public area of the hotel has a good environment, with many old objects and furnishings. The front desk owner is very nice and provides free printing services. A bag of clothes is dry cleaned for $5. You can see Quito Cathedral and Loaf Mountain from the top of the third floor, and the night view is also very good. The hotel here does not provide toiletries for taking off shoes, so you need to bring your own.
GGuest UserMy child and I arrived at the hotel almost 8 o'clock in the evening. The hotel staff was very patient. Due to the language barrier, the staff took the initiative to take out the mobile phone translation. When we left the next day, we called a taxi. The service was in place and the hotel was very clean and safe.
