Hospitality at the hotel was fantastic, with staff go beyond our expections. We booked one bedroom for 2 kids & 2 adults and was upgraded to two queen size beds. We was given piping hot soup, sandwiches, fruits & beverages upon reaching as the weather was very cold. They also ensured that our kids are feeling warm & cosy as well. Each time when we came back from our day out, they offered to make us hot dumpling soup! That was very nice of them. On our last night with Le Zai, they even helped us arranged a car for pick up just right outside their accommodation (their alley is very small by the way). As we have a train to catch early in the morning (before breakfast was even open), the staff packed breakfast (bread, milk & fruits) for us so we can have it on our way to our next destination. I will never hesitate to recommend my friends to book Le Zai when in Hutong. One of the best and left us a great experiences. Thank you staffs of Le Zai!
Orange Hotel (Beijing Yansha Liangma River)

Yansha Commercial Area
Have stayed for a total of 5 nights across 2 bookings. The experience didn't start off well - the check-in took more than 30 mins although we were the only ones there. The front desk rep persistently asked us to cancel the booking on trip.com as they could offer us a better rate with free breakfast. We turned down the kind offer as we had plans to have breakfast outside, did not want to deal with the hassle of a credit card refund and the price difference wasn't that much anyway. This went on for more than 15 mins despite us telling him definitely that we just want to check in and rest after a long day. Room - cleanliness can be better. The room had a really musky smell. Gaps of the sofa were SO dirty with hair, dead skin and all kinds of stuff. Floor of shower area was grimy. Might be a personal preference issue but the electrical circuit of the Family room was really odd. While the family room had 2 bedrooms + 1 living room, there were only two light switches in total. The lights for one of the rooms (twin bed room) are connected to the living room. Only the queen bed room has a standalone switch. Please only book the family room if everyone is going to sleep and wake up at the same time else it's going to be torturous. We had checked with the front desk - it's apparently like this for all the family rooms except one which does not have a living room. Network connectivity - free wifi is provided. If you're a non-local trying to use vpn or sim that can connect to networks that can allow you to access social media platforms, good luck :) according to the front desk, ”too bad” as connectivity to some network providers at the hotel (e.g. china unicom) is just bad. House-keeping & Amenities - daily housekeeping was done (mainly throwing of trash and making of bed). Amenities (e.g. shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, etc.) are provided. There's also free self-service laundry & drying available. Location - generally ok if you're intending to take taxi / didi everywhere. Metro is a distance (>15 mins walk) away and the station is on Line 10. You would need to change at least once to arrive at popular tourist attractions. Not much good food around. There's a 7-11 about 7 mins walk away. Front desk service (2 males) - on top of the bad experience during check-in, most requests (other than one) were not attended to too. For example, requesting for one extra floor towel as the toilet is always wet (it never came) and requesting for help to book a taxi (the guest officer disappeared after agreeing to help and asked us to wait).

Yongdingmen and South Railway Station Area
Very good service. Very clean & hotel room cozy. Suitable for family. But few feedbacks: 1. Housekeeping wise to ensure amentities to be refill 2. Perhaps can have shuttle service from hotel to ”Jiao Men Xi” station. Walking around 5 to 10 minutes. Riding bike around 3 minutes. It just that especially with luggage, then you might face slight difficulties.
Renjoy Hotel Beijing Yonghe Temple Guijie Siheyuan

East Second Ring Workers' Stadium Area
Stayed for 3 nights and chose this hotel for a more relaxed experience as our dates overlapped with the National Holidays. It has a nice and cozy courtyard where you can chill outside (the good weather was a plus!) which includes a mini fish pond, a seat swing. There’s also a cute cat that roams around as well. Building wise - There’s a total of 2 levels of rooms based on what I know. There’s no lift to the 2nd storey so remember to request for rooms on level 1 if you have difficulties accessing. Location - located in an old street of Beijing which is an experience I would say as surrounding are old houses and there are people that live there. As its located in an old street, it may be difficult for cars to drive in. One driver managed to drive in when we arrived but another driver requested us to come out to the main street when we are leaving the hotel. However that wasn’t an issue as its just a 5 min walk out to the main street (Guijie Street). Gui Jie street is a popular food street with many shops and restaurants and mostly opens at night and bustling with people. At one end of the Gui Jie, you will reach a metro station (~10min walk from hotel). Overall, a pleasant location for us. Breakfast - Simple breakfast located at the 2nd level of the building. Includes some simple chinese dishes as well as bread. Not a widespread, but it is sufficient. Room - Room is clean and cozy which includes a tea set for you to make tea and enjoy. The toilet is divided into dry and wet area (basin is located outside in the room). One of the downside personally on the toilet is that the glass is frosted (can see through a quite a bit with light) so it could be a bit uncomfortable depending who you are staying with. Separately since it is separated into wet and dry area, the shower area is quite small with only one hook located at the side and your clothes will get wet if you hang it there. One good thing is their brand for shampoo, soap etc smells really good. Amenities - free washing machine and dryer!! The machines are those small type so remember not to wash everything at one go. Dryer is not that strong so for a small amount of clothes you probably need 1 hour to dry it. You can collect small packets of detergent from the reception. Very good! Overall it is a very pleasant stay and the hotel staff gave us small token when we are leaving. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a different experience from a city-hotel!
Ji Hotel (Beijing Sanlitun Workers' Stadium East Gate)

East Second Ring Workers' Stadium Area
I recently stayed at the Ji Sanlitun Gongti Dongmen Hotel, and the experience was great! The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the Sanlitun business district, with everything from food and entertainment to entertainment. It is also very convenient to go to Gongti to watch performances or go to bars at night. The transportation is also very convenient, and the subway station is nearby, so there is no need to worry about traveling. The overall design of the hotel is simple and elegant, full of modernity, the room is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and I sleep very well. I especially like their detailed design, such as the intelligent control system and high-speed Wi-Fi, which are very easy to use. The water pressure in the bathroom is also sufficient, and the toiletries are of good quality, which gives people a very caring feeling overall. There is nothing to pick in terms of service. The front desk staff is enthusiastic and efficient in checking in and out. When encountering problems, they respond quickly, which makes people feel at ease. In short, this stay experience is very satisfactory and cost-effective! Whether it is a business trip or a tourist vacation, this is a good choice. Highly recommended to everyone!

I took my nephew to Universal Studios and booked a B&B nearby. I didn't expect the standard of B&Bs to be so high now. They have smart toilets, provide disposable independent toiletries, and the bed is super comfortable. The yard is especially beautiful for taking photos. I will come again next time. I recommend it.
Orange Hotel (Beijing Tiananmen Dashilan Branch)

Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area
After the Lantern Festival, we went out of peak hours. My child wanted to go to Beijing, so I brought my family to Beijing! I checked the hotel location online and it felt good! It was just across the street from Dashilan! There were commercial streets all around, and it was close to Tiananmen Square. The subway didn't need to be far away. The overall transportation was relatively convenient. However, there is one key point to reach the hotel, which customers need to pay attention to! Because it is in the core area of Qianmen, there are certain traffic restrictions around it. You can't park randomly around it, and you can only get off at the taxi stop. Then walk more than 200 meters before you can walk back to the hotel. But this is a rule, and there is no way to change it. The following pictures are about the hotel! I feel that the hotel price is okay! After all, the location is here, and such a core location is worthy of this price! There is nothing particularly dazzling in the hotel lobby. All disposable toiletries need to be picked up at the front desk, which is also a rule of Beijing. The coffee machine and fruit tea in the lobby are provided free of charge. There is a conference table, and the desktop can be charged, which is convenient for network office workers. I personally prefer the laundry room. The equipment is complete and the space is large. There are also many ancillary equipment, including bags, which are prepared for customers, which is very considerate! The service staff will greet customers when they see them, including when I checked out last, and met the cleaning aunt. The aunt said goodbye to my child cordially and wished us a smooth journey! This feeling is very good, as if at home! Inside the room, I don't feel anything special. It is clean and all kinds of ancillary facilities are also complete. There is space and shelves at the entrance of the room, where you can unfold all the luggage. I like it this way! There is also a small degree in the room, which can voice control all the facilities in the house, which is very convenient and suitable for lazy people like me😆 However, there are too few programs on TV, which looks boring. But when traveling, I don't watch TV much. There are uninterrupted power interfaces in the house, which can be charged for a long time. I always bring a power bank when I go out to play, charge it in Dashilan, run back to the hotel to charge the power bank, and then go back to go shopping! The convenience of the location is undoubtedly evident! The terrace room I want has an outdoor space and a nice view. I can feel the atmosphere of the old Beijing Hutong! I can also see the National People's Congress and CITIC Tower from a distance, which is pretty good! Overall, I am quite satisfied, and my family is also satisfied! Looking forward to coming again next time!
