Overall, I'm satisfied. I checked in on the 7th, and while I couldn't get a free room upgrade, I was able to check in early and check out late. Knowing it was our anniversary, they sent a small cake, but it arrived more than an hour after the scheduled time. When I asked for two more bottles of water, they sent a fruit platter, which was a nice gesture even though we didn't really eat it. The hotel's external location is quite convenient, making it easy to get around. However, the hotel and its attached mall are so huge that it took a lot of time to find our way to the room! If the price were a bit lower, it would be even more appealing!
Right next to the old town, it's less than a 15-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. The old town is literally just a stone's throw away, with plenty of dining options. The staff are all very professional. The young man who helps guests hail taxis at the entrance, despite not speaking much Chinese, was excellent. It was hard to get a cab during the holidays, so he'd be genuinely happy whenever he managed to flag one down. He'd even proactively ask taxi drivers dropping off guests if they could take new passengers, which was incredibly thoughtful!
As an older, established hotel, it's really great. It's convenient for shopping, eating, and getting around. The most important thing is that the rooms are huge! Because the higher floors are under renovation, there's a smell in the elevators on those floors, and you can hear some noise in the rooms during the day. However, the hotel informed me about this beforehand. Since I wasn't mainly there to lounge at the hotel, the renovation hours from 9 AM to 8 PM were perfectly acceptable. It's highly recommended, and the service is excellent; everyone is very nice.
Came to Macau and stayed at the Yoho Roosevelt this time. The location is a bit out of the way; **taxis are scarce, and you have to transfer twice. It's not ideal if you have luggage, but since we didn't, it wasn't an issue for us.**
**Environment & Amenities**
✅ Because it's remote, it's very quiet, and the hotel is new.
✅ Offers sea views and stadium views. Waking up to an unobstructed 180-degree view in the morning is incredibly comfortable.
✅ The TV can swivel, making it convenient to watch from the bed or living room. It has TVB and Phoenix TV, which was enjoyable.
⭕️ If you have luggage, transportation isn't very friendly; **taxis are few and you need to transfer.**
**Design & Service**
✅ At 400 MOP, the value for money is really high.
⭕️ The room layout is quite strange... there's a long corridor with a small table, which is fine for working but otherwise unnecessary.
⭕️ The bathroom is even weirder; the bathtub is inside the shower area, first time I've seen that! It's okay for bathing (comes with a disposable tub liner), but showering is really inconvenient.
**Summary:** Suitable for those without luggage, who seek quiet views, and aren't particular about room layout. For 400 MOP in Macau, what more could you ask for? A pure sea-view room would probably be even more comfortable.
The front desk service was excellent, and the hotel was very clean. All the staff were extremely polite, and the environment was superb. The infinity pool was beautiful. The hotel is conveniently located and offers a shuttle service. There are several restaurants within the hotel, providing a wide variety of dining options. As for the Buddha quote, it seems out of place in a hotel review, but the overall hotel experience was great.
This hotel offers incredible value for money! The French-inspired decor is absolutely beautiful and grand. Our room was spacious and bright. The hotel service was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. I really appreciated the bathtub in the room; the water even felt disinfected, which was a nice touch. The location is super convenient, with connected walkways to several other hotels, so you don't have to worry about sun or rain. Simply fantastic!
I highly recommend Grand Lisboa Palace Hotel; it’s perfect for families traveling with children. The staff took such good care of us throughout our stay, making our whole trip comfortable and stress-free!
The front desk staff – Jerome, Yamka, and Christina – were incredibly enthusiastic. When they learned we had a baby, they proactively asked about our needs and immediately arranged for a crib and baby toiletries to be sent to our room. We didn’t have to prepare anything extra, which was a thoughtful touch.
After checking in, I wasn't sure how to operate the bottle sterilizer. housekeeping staff member, Jia Hui, patiently demonstrated and explained the steps, her attitude gentle and meticulous.
When I called to inquire about hotel matters, the male customer service representative I spoke with was incredibly professional. He clearly and detailedly explained the shuttle bus routes and schedules and even informed me about kid-friendly areas within the hotel. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but I'm still very grateful.
The hotel environment is grand and elegant, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The mother and baby facilities are comprehensive. From the front desk to housekeeping and inquiry staff, every employee was warm, attentive, and accommodating. This stay with our child was an exceptional experience, making for a very pleasant and perfect trip to Macau. I will definitely choose Grand Lisboa Palace again next time I visit Macau, and I recommend it to all families traveling with children!
I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. First, the cons: the soundproofing in the room was very poor, and what was truly unacceptable was the strong, musty smell throughout the room. It felt stuffy after a while. All the windows were sealed shut, so there was no way to air out the room, and the odor lingered. I'm quite sensitive to smells, so I was tormented by it all night and had to just tough it out, wrapped in a blanket. The bathroom design was also very impractical; you could only shower in the bathtub, which was both cumbersome and inconvenient. The overall decor was old and outdated, feeling ancient everywhere, and the facilities were also quite old. For nearly 800 yuan a night, at this standard, it's really not worth it at all. The experience was terrible. I won't be coming back, and I don't recommend it to anyone.
First off, let's talk about the front desk. From the moment I checked in, the service was excellent. I mentioned it was my first time staying here, and the front desk staff immediately escorted me to my room to explain all the amenities. First impressions, full marks!
The room itself was lovely, with a thoughtful tent setup. The mat inside the tent was very comfortable, and the bedding and pillows were great. The welcome fruit was incredibly fresh, and the complimentary mini-snacks and drinks were plentiful.
All the toiletries, including those for children, were excellent.
Now, for the service. On our first night, there was some noise around midnight. Staff were sent to investigate immediately. It seemed to be external noise, possibly from road construction, but the hotel's proactive response was truly commendable. They arranged a room change for us the next day. Although it did slightly disrupt our plans, their willingness to resolve the issue was top-notch, and we'll definitely stay here again.
Overall, if you're traveling with kids, this hotel is a great choice for its environment, facilities, and service. Any request made to the front desk is promptly handled by staff.
One minor point is the location. If you visit during a period with a lot of rain, it's not as convenient as the Venetian or Londoner areas since it's not interconnected. On rainy days, you're limited to indoor hotel facilities like the pool, as outdoor ones are closed. There are also fewer shops downstairs, making it hard to pass the time. We happened to be there during a typhoon, which made spending a few days in the hotel a bit dull. However, on good weather days, it's very convenient to walk to places or take a taxi.
Be sure to allow extra time for the hotel's shuttle to the airport, as it makes several stops and isn't direct.
Having a Don Quijote on the first floor is super convenient for grabbing snacks and other small items.
Excellent hotel, directly connected to Galaxy Macau, so no need to walk outside in the sun. 😀 The room was quite spacious and clean, with a view of the University of Macau across the way. To get to Rua do Cunha, you can just cut through from the Galaxy's Lukfook Jewellery. For The Venetian Macao, simply cross the road from the Crystal Lobby. To get from Rua do Cunha to The Venetian, just go up directly opposite Mok Yi Kei, there are parallel escalators so you don't have to walk as much. 😀 Everything at Galaxy is delicious and convenient, with options for all budgets. I even bought a Pop Mart limited edition fridge magnet that's not available on the mainland. Next time I'm in Macau, I'll definitely stay at Broadway again, it's so convenient!

GGuest UserVery good hotel, but the staff attitude at the breakfast restaurant was disappointing. The girl who prepares the juice had a really bad attitude. I simply asked for a drink, and she seemed very unwilling to serve me. She even glared at me.
The hotel itself is of a very high standard, but this staff do not meet that standard! Her attitude was disappointing and not what I would expect from a hotel of this quality.

PPulishendinachuangwuerThis hotel offers great value for money. It's very close to Galaxy Macau, just across the road. The view from the window is also lovely. Getting a taxi right outside the hotel is super quick, and the metro is also nearby. For food, there's a good restaurant called Macao Restaurant just a few hundred meters away; their pork chop bun is especially delicious and it's very affordable. From the restaurant, Taipa Village (Rua do Cunha) is also very close, perfect for a stroll.

SShixiazhiya⭐⭐⭐⭐ The location is unbeatable, but the breakfast seriously needs improvement.
Staying at the Victoria Hotel Macau this time, the location really couldn't be better. It's right in the city center, making it super convenient to get to the Ruins of St. Paul's and all the major casinos. There's a bus stop right downstairs, so getting around is hassle-free. The room is typically 'Macanese' – not huge, but spotlessly clean and tidy. The bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is decent, making it perfectly adequate for a layover.
However, I really have to complain about the breakfast; the experience was quite poor. The restaurant seating was very cramped, and when it got busy, it felt chaotic. The food selection was very limited, and the hot dishes basically never changed. The taste was also quite ordinary, even a bit perfunctory, definitely inferior to hotels in the same price range.
Overall, the stay itself was comfortable, but definitely don't have high expectations for breakfast. If your booking doesn't include breakfast, I recommend heading to a nearby tea restaurant instead; the food there will be much better! 🥲

XxfmhThe room was spacious, and the amenities were complete and brand new. Since I was here for my daughter's graduation, the hotel even specially prepared a graduation bouquet and a cake. The most pleasant surprise was the customized room cards, engraved with the university's logo – a truly delightful and memorable touch. I'd like to extend a special thanks to Angela from the reservations department, who meticulously inquired about our room preferences and travel arrangements before our arrival; her service was incredibly thoughtful. Overall, the staff at the front desk, room service, and housekeeping were all very enthusiastic and attentive. It was an extraordinary experience!

王王水木The transportation isn't very convenient. Even with the shuttle bus, you still need to transfer, and the frequency is quite low. Before arriving, I emailed them to let them know it was our wedding anniversary. The hotel offered a complimentary cake and gave me three options to choose from. After I made my selection, they ended up sending the one I least wanted, but since it was free, I didn't mind. The hotel has a resort-like atmosphere, which is very relaxing, and the restaurant prices are reasonable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
