The room was fantastic! It was very spacious, with a huge bed (looked like two single beds pushed together), a small living area, and a little balcony. Everything in the room was spotless!! The bedding was dry and soft. There were staff at the door to help bring luggage to the room, but we didn't have any cash for a tip, which I felt bad about! The hotel breakfast was plentiful and halal, which was perfect for us. For this price, getting a four-star hotel in Cape Town is incredible value for money! Highly recommend!
Elegant hotel in Paternoster, perfect for few nights stay. The team is really kind and helpful. The villas are brand new, well decorated and very comfortable. The swimming pool is a real plus ! We will come back without hesitations.

The hotel is old-school and stylish. It is very convenient to get in and out, and is very close to the Hop on Hop off scenic station.
Facilities: Complete
Hygiene: Clean without any flaws
Environment: Quiet
Service: Satisfactory
The hotel was lovely and staff very helpful. Breakfast was good and fresh.alp the decor around the hotel was just like photos. There was an incident regarding security of my room and reception were very supportive and patient in reviewing all the CCTV footage.
I was ensured staff would be formally approached about the incident. The hotel gave me a room stay for the day afterwards and accommodated any request.
Disappointing — Not the Taj Experience I Expected
I stayed one night at Taj Cape Town and, having stayed, worked, and studied at other Taj properties worldwide, I left feeling that this hotel does not deliver the signature “Taj” experience.
Location: Excellent — centrally located and convenient for business and sightseeing.
Rooms: Very good. The guest room was well-appointed, comfortable, and met the standard I expect from a five-star property. No complaints on accommodations.
Food & Beverage: Below expectations for a Taj. The breakfast buffet was serviceable but average — acceptable for a quick meal, but nothing memorable in terms of variety, presentation, or quality. The on-site Asian restaurant is extremely small (about five tables) and suffers from poor ventilation: the exhaust does not appear to function adequately, so the space quickly fills with an oily cooking smell that lingers and detracts from the dining experience. The food itself was below the quality I would expect from a Taj-branded restaurant.
Service & Brand Feel: This is where the hotel most noticeably misses the mark. While staff were professional, the overall atmosphere lacked the warm, polished service and attention to detail that distinguishes other Taj properties I have experienced. It felt more like a standard city hotel operating under the Taj name rather than a hotel delivering the full Taj brand promise.
Value: Concerning. The hotel charges approximately INR 2,000 per day for parking — a steep add-on that should be clearly communicated up front and factored into the overall value proposition.
Summary: The location and rooms are strong points, but the average breakfast, a small and poorly ventilated Asian restaurant, and an overall absence of the characteristic Taj hospitality leave this property short of expectations. If you are seeking the classic Taj experience, this particular hotel may not meet that standard.
Have spent a very cool time in the wine shop, beautiful territory, class rooms, excellent swimming pool, delicious breakfasts and of course wine 😍😍😍
We had a room on the 2nd floor with a terrace with cheeslons - it was a separate class at all - in the morning before breakfast it was very pleasant to fall on the sun ❤️
Separate thanks to the staff of the hotel with the resepshen 😅 We in the department in the safe forgot all 🙈 our passports, rights, all the money and tablet 🙃🙃🙃, remembered 300 km from the Igorny Cape when settled in another hotel, contacted Spier, Ordered from Cape Town by the courier and we all brought in whole and safe in the evening ❤️❤️❤️

DDaliBrasilUKGreat Stay for a Convenient & Comfortable Airport Stopover
I stayed at Hotel Verde for just one night to catch my early flight, and it was the perfect choice. The location is incredibly convenient, and the shuttle service was punctual and easy to find ~ making my airport transfer stress-free.
My room was very comfortable, and I was lucky enough to have a lovely view of Table Mountain, which was a nice bonus! The restaurant exceeded expectations ~ both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the service was excellent.
The staff and shuttle drivers were all friendly and accommodating, which made my short stay even more pleasant. Considering the free shuttle, complimentary breakfast, and overall sense of safety (especially important as a solo traveler), the price was definitely worth it.
I’d happily stay here again before a flight and would recommend it to other travelers looking for comfort and convenience.

LLeightonLovely stay at Pepperclub - recommended. We chose to celebrate a big milestone in South Africa to create some very special memories. We toured from Joburg, through Nambiti to Durban and then onto Cape Town, and we booked Pepperclub to have a pampered end to our trip. The location is great, near Bo Kaap, local markets and safe to walk around. We had no problem getting where we needed to go. The hotel is very clean including the communal areas, gym and of course the rooms. However, housekeeping was more 4* - simple requests like extra blankets needed to be chased, and the turndown of the room happened every day but was inconsistent (sometimes the bathroom was cleaned and restocked, sometimes not). Similarly, the service was inconsistent even through the reception/concierge was always well staffed - Godfrey always greeted us enthusiastically, and there was another duty manager that was very diligent and followed-up well. However, when Godfrey was not on shift the welcome was more muted, and the staff on reception weren't exactly warm and not always efficient.
Restaurant staff were always very warm and friendly. Breakfast was great - with good selection of buffet and a la carte options served swiftly. Lunch options were good too, and room service was efficient.
Spa was excellent with very good massages and treatments. The Gym is good, though a little small, and for clarity the pool is not heated (but is beautiful). We didn't get a chance to try the private Odeon cinema, but they only had older movies not the newer ones found at public Odeon cinemas.
Great views of Table Mountain and Lions Head from the rooms. The hotel were able to grant our special requests of early check-in, inter-leading rooms and they dressed the room and provided cake and bubbly to celebrate our anniversary - lovely touches. You won't regret your stay, but you may not be compelled to stay again.
AAnonymous User服务 friendly taff with good smile. they all speak softly
设施:bath room is big with 2 basins🤗 swimming pool has warm water with good view
great breakfast with nice coffee.
GGuest UserThe room was not bad, the breakfast was too unpalatable, I was anxious to collect the plate every day, I didn’t ask for coffee or not, I beckoned for a long time. The waiter chatted there.
DDes MojMooiplaas is a stunning venue for a clean, crisp peaceful getaway. The views overlooking the orange skyline and Ostriches doing their thing was, Oh so lovely!! The place is well managed and the staff are a friendly bunch of good old happy country folk. Nothing was ever too much. The food was delicious and fresh fruits and vegetables were delivered everyday. The rooms are old but neat. The wooden floors give the place a vintage feel. The old brown wall to wall carpet was not great but the beautiful rugs thrown over it made is bearable. They have some good quality books to read and enjoy. The breakfast and dinner menu was on point👌🏾👌🏾. I loved the home baked bread 😋 😋. The breakfast box prepared before my 5am-120km ride was excellent! It was prepared excavtly As I had requestes. I have already booked for my next trip😍😍. I loved seeing the stuff happy and enjoying their work. It’s always a good sign when staff enjoy what they do. I think I might have made a friend or two. The curio shop is interesting and the service at the Spa was… you guessed it, Oh so lovely!!☺️
KKeyloThis hotel is in the centre of the CBD. It’s closer to many local amenities and long street. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a variety of options and the restaurant is open until very late at night and has local and international cuisines like Korean short rib and Vietnamese spring roll. The rooms are very clean and spacious. They have The Grotto Spa within the hotel which I highly recommend. I definitely would suggest you check it out if you plan to visit Cape Town.
LLikeAStarSanbona Wildlife Reserve is a league of it's own. Our driver picked us up from Cape Town and it took about 2 and a half hours to reach the gate of Sanbona
From the gate to our glamping tents was another 90 mins drive into an expansive dessert - 62,000 hectares
We got real lucky and saw Lionesses, Cheetah, Giraffes, Hippos, Rhinos, Baboons, Elephants etc. Our Guide Joe was absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable
The glamping tents were so spacious, connecting you right back to nature with outdoor showers, jacuzzi etc
Our meals were fantastic, and they can accommodate to most dietary restrictions. We ended up trying both the Springbok, Kudu, Hake, Kingklip - all local delicacies
Love how South African wines were included in our full board experience allowing us to sample Bruts, Rosé and even their Pinotage
We ended the evening stargazing as usual, this time being able to see both the Southern and Northern Hemispheree
NNuvolariXThe breakfast, freshly prepared in the kitchen, was okay, though a bit salty, and the buffet had limited variety. The room was clean, but the sockets were South African standard, requiring adapters. The lighting consisted of two spotlights and a hidden ambient light in the ceiling, with no sleep mode. It was confusing to see that some rooms of the same type had washing machines and some didn't. Overall, the price was a bit high.
