Hotel near Suzhou South Bus Station Area,Suzhou
GGuest User 2026.05.07
This is a large hotel, designed in the classic Suzhou-style architecture, with beautiful garden landscapes. The back entrance offers direct access to the Pan Gate Scenic Area. The hotel spans approximately 32,000 square meters and features 336 guest rooms. It boasts four dining options: Cuiyingyuan All-Day Dining, Haitainlou Chinese Restaurant, Ruimian Noodle House, and Taying Cafe. There are roughly 250-300 parking spaces available, along with leisure facilities such as indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, tennis courts, an indoor golf simulator, and a kids' club.

Stayed with a friend, and the room was clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding. The location is great, not far from Southeast University and the Presidential Palace, making it convenient for getting around and finding food. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the facilities were sufficient. Overall, it was a good stay.

Hotel near Slender West Lake Scenic Area,Yangzhou 70.6% of visitors choose this area

After doing some research online, I was torn between Building 8 and Building 18, but I ultimately chose Building 18, which is apparently newly built and features a courtyard. There are peacocks on the B1 level, and you can access them directly from the parking lot following the signs. You can customize your room keycard, just remember to do it in advance. There are also cute little bunnies near Building 18. The courtyard inside the room wasn't particularly worth it, as I spent most of my time out sightseeing. However, the large floor-to-ceiling windows offered beautiful views at night, my only minor complaint is that the courtyard itself wasn't very big. It was very convenient to call staff anytime to take us to any building we needed (except for the hot spring across the street, which only offered drop-offs at Quyu Teahouse). Yangzhou's gardens can get quite crowded, so it was much better to enjoy the ambiance directly at the Guesthouse. It was less crowded and very green, with direct access to Slender West Lake. Breakfast was plentiful and offered a wide variety of choices. I heard the swimming pool at the Guesthouse is also quite famous, but I was short on time and couldn't experience it myself. Do pay attention to the complimentary hot spring tickets. I tried both hot springs. For the Slender West Lake hot spring across the street, you should set aside a few hours. Both indoor and outdoor hot springs are available, and there's a great variety of them. Hongqiao Fang Hot Spring felt more like the Northeastern Chinese bathhouse culture (and I'm from the Northeast, haha!). For massages, I highly recommend ear picking and full-body massages. I don't think a pedicure is really worth it unless you have very severe calluses. Overall, I found the bathhouse services slightly less impressive than what you'd find in the Northeast. The lobby on the 11th floor is also very nice, with black swans nearby. The Guesthouse has a lot of plants and animals throughout. I tried all three restaurants within the Guesthouse, but I wouldn't highly recommend them. It might be due to my personal taste, but I felt it was better to eat out. However, the ambiance in the restaurants was quite pleasant. Overall, I'd give the Guesthouse a thumbs up. The environment is absolutely impeccable. However, compared to the exterior landscaping, the interior conditions of the Guesthouse were a bit less impressive. So, for value for money, you could opt for a standard king room and still enjoy the beautiful scenery. I will definitely choose the Guesthouse again on my next trip to Yangzhou!!!

Words alone cannot express how wonderful this guesthouse is! It truly lives up to its Ctrip recommendation as one of the most beautiful guesthouses. The moment you step into the courtyard, a gentle breeze carries a delightful fragrance, and there's even a swing – so relaxing. The location is incredibly convenient, within walking distance of the Humble Administrator's Garden and Pingjiang Historic Cultural Block. There are also many great restaurants nearby, making dining very easy. It's only about a 10-minute drive from Suzhou Station. What really stands out is the service; the staff are all incredibly warm and hospitable. Traveling with my parents, they were very considerate of elderly needs and gave us a quiet room. They helped us with sightseeing recommendations, photo spots, carried our luggage, and were always ready to assist with anything we needed, even offering a farewell gift. I highly, highly recommend this place!

This hotel is nestled in an alley in Laomendong, right opposite the popular Pioneer Bookstore, which is a great location. The only downside is that it's 1.5 km from the metro station, but we took taxis everywhere, so it wasn't a big deal for us. We originally booked a tatami room, but only found out upon arrival that it was on the B2 level. It had a musty smell, was damp, and poorly ventilated, making it quite uncomfortable. We paid an extra 1000 RMB to switch to a room on the second floor, which was much better. If you're booking, definitely avoid the basement rooms. The hotel has three adorable cats! Aside from the little hiccup with the room upgrade, everything else was pretty good, even though the price doubled during the holiday.

The hotel is located down an alley, but it has its own dedicated parking, which is very convenient. It's not far from Laomendong, Confucius Temple, Zhonghua Gate City Wall, and the Nanjing City Wall Museum. You can even get takeout delivered as late as 11 PM. I booked a room with a balcony and the view was great. You can see the tour boats passing by. The hotel room was also very clean and tidy.

Centrally located in Xinjiekou, this hotel boasts an excellent location, making it convenient to get around and perfect for shopping! The service is incredibly attentive; Manager Fang from the VIP hotline provided professional and meticulous service with a warm and thoughtful demeanor. She was proactive and thorough throughout, always responding and following up on every detail. Before my stay, Ms. Fang noticed from my social media that I was traveling with a baby and thoughtfully left a message saying she would arrange for children's amenities. These small touches truly made me feel at home at Jinling Hotel, showcasing their high-quality service and leaving a lasting impression. The concierge was also very polite and helpful with luggage. Jinling Hotel will definitely be my top choice for future stays!

The overall environment is great, and the spatial design is exceptionally good. They called to confirm my arrival time before check-in. The staff was polite during check-in and promptly offered tea. The front desk lady even upgraded our room to a full suite! The deep sleep mode was amazing; we slept so soundly that none of us woke up for breakfast! When checking out, the front desk, Hua Hai, was also very thoughtful. They meticulously arranged for our express delivery and handled our luggage storage completely, making it effortless for us.

Facilities: Overall very good and satisfying, but there wasn't a disposable small comb, though that doesn't really affect the overall experience. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: Very good, I liked it a lot, but the lighting was a bit off. When we were taking photos or doing makeup, it created a bit of a backlight. It could be improved slightly, but having several different color lighting options was great! Service: Superb! The ladies and the front desk staff were all very considerate and attentive. 24-hour warm-hearted butler service: Very thorough. Late checkout until 2 PM (subject to availability): The attitude was super good.

The room has a separate wet and dry area, it's clean, and the new hotel environment is quite good. The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and gentlemen, are very enthusiastic, quick to solve problems, and helped with our luggage. We'll definitely choose this hotel when we come to Nanjing again. We wished we could have stayed longer!

GGuest UserKudos to the cleaning staff on the 15th floor during Chinese New Year. The front desk, which is supposed to be the hotel's face, was a letdown. We checked in at the left counter using Hong Kong IDs, and after we were done, they asked if we needed help with our luggage. We had elderly and children with us, but there wasn't a single word of greeting. Breakfast was up to four-star standards; not a huge variety, but good quality. The lounge on the 5th floor was very average. They had red and white wine, but you had to ask the staff for beer.

SStanley The Travel ManI arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner.   I didn’t and still don’t  have an eSIM that can make local  call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free.  I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands.  I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.  I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their  blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop  to Suzhou which was my next destination.  This  operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a  lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.  After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge .  If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass.  Do check with the owner for up to date information.  The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.  Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. .  There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from  the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy.  It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances. The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.  This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.  I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in  Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I  couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket.

GGuest UserThe receptionist was caring and they even upgraded my room with bathtub. The room is big and spacious. Especially the spot is just inside the ancient town it feels so nice after a walk you can go back in room to rest anytime! Before I went back to sleep I even bought some nice silver jewellery at the shop below and after late night come out from entrance the staircase is just right beside the shop. Literally staying upstairs. I enjoyed the street vibe a lot. The shower gel and shampoo was very big bottle and was very nice, truly would bring my family back to the hotel for the value and location to enjoy the ancient town.

GGuest UserI booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations. We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby. We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed. Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel. This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance. We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again. Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed. When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet. Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.
