MOXY Properties in Shanghai

Let's start with the room. For a Moxy, it was quite spacious. Though compact, it had everything I needed, and the shower was huge! My only complaint was the hairdryer; it was so weak it took ages to dry my hair. My favorite part was the workspace on the second floor – it was quiet, had a great vibe, and even offered communal computers, which I really appreciated. The staff at the front desk and restaurant on the first floor were very welcoming. I received a welcome cocktail upon check-in. I hadn't booked breakfast, but they informed me there was a group deal for 68 RMB per person. After checking out the spread the next morning, I immediately decided to go for it. It was absolutely worth the price and delicious, delicious, delicious!

The Moxy, part of the Marriott family, offers exceptional value for money and boasts a very convenient location. The rooms are well-designed, clean, and quiet, making great use of the space. The front desk service is efficient, and the public areas offer a variety of recreational facilities. It's an excellent experience for business travelers. A special shout-out to Archie at the front desk – I honestly thought he was a celebrity at first! He was incredibly kind and proactively helped me resolve an issue. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!

The rooms are clean, but the doors in every room close quite loudly. There aren't many dining options nearby, and breakfast is generally simple. The location is a bit out of the way. Compared to Moxy hotels in Japan, it lacks a certain fun factor.
