Marriott Properties in Shanghai

Our stay at the Marriott was overall very satisfying. 👍 Upon arrival, the front desk proactively upgraded our room and offered complimentary breakfast for our child, which made for a very pleasant experience. My child went swimming on the sixth floor for two consecutive days. The hotel staff were very attentive, providing towels and water, and there was a lifeguard on duty. The swimming area environment was also excellent. The hotel room size was decent, and the cleanliness was good. It came with a bathtub, which my child loved 💕, although the toilet was a bit old. I'd like to praise the hotel's delicious breakfast 😋, which offered both Chinese and Western sections. The restaurant was spacious with a beautiful ambiance and a wide variety of food options, definitely something to look forward to! The overall check-in experience was great; the lobby staff were very responsive to all requests. Food delivery robots could bring orders directly to our room. When we left, they even gave us small toys as souvenirs. We will definitely visit again!

Recommended by a friend for my business trip to Shanghai, the Marriott Marquis on the Bund truly delivered. The overall environment and service were excellent, consistent with the high standards of the Marriott brand. Check-in was very efficient, and the front desk staff thoughtfully provided directions to nearby attractions. The breakfast spread was fantastic, easily one of the best among Marriott hotels I've stayed at. The bedding was also super comfortable. I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely a perfect stay! The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. I loved having a bathtub, and all the amenities felt high-quality. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the gym facilities were top-notch. Definitely worth another visit!

On a whim, I decided to take a last-minute weekend trip around Shanghai before school started again. I chose the newly opened Marriott hotel from June, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Everything about the hotel felt brand new, with excellent facilities and even better service – I was delighted. The front desk staff, especially a young man named Xiao Yang who wore glasses, made me feel incredibly welcome; he definitely deserves a shout-out. The food was also fantastic, both in the breakfast restaurant and the Executive Lounge. I purchased a package and was upgraded for free to a Grand Deluxe room on the 19th floor. I absolutely loved the bathtub in the bathroom. If only there was a capsule coffee machine in the room, it would have been absolutely perfect!

My stay was exceptionally pleasant this time, and I'd like to specifically mention Tina at the front desk who left a wonderful impression on me. I had numerous small questions about travel and my room, and she listened patiently, speaking in a kind and gentle tone. She also proactively offered very practical advice. For any small requests, she went out of her way to help coordinate things. Her thoughtful and considerate service made me feel truly respected. This significantly enhanced my stay. I really appreciate Tina's professionalism and thank her for her dedication. I look forward to coming back again.

Facilities: The hotel is relatively new and overall pretty good. The pool is a highlight – not crowded and the water is clear. Cleanliness: Also quite good, no stains found in the room. Environment: Although the location is a bit out of the way (but quite close to Ueno), it's very quiet, so I slept well. Service: This is something the hotel really needs to pay close attention to. If the hotel provides shuttle bus service, then properly arranging the number of passengers and timing is the most basic requirement. Starting from the airport pickup this time, the arrangements were unclear, which led to me having to take a taxi to the hotel myself. Fortunately, the hotel handled it appropriately by arranging a car for me when I checked out as compensation. In the evening, the Disney shuttle was significantly over capacity, causing everyone to wait for half an hour before departing. The extra people were seemingly picked up by a ride-hailing service called by the hotel. Everyone booked in advance at the front desk, so why did this happen? People are tired after a full day of playing with their kids, and it's hard not to get angry in this situation. The hotel should really reflect on this!

It was pretty good. The room was a bit small but had everything we needed. They saw we had a child and sent a small gift, thanks to the lady at the front desk for her service. My child needed formula, and the cleaning staff brought two bottles of water, which was thoughtful and kind. P.S. There's a current event at Daning Park, and we could see the fountain from our room window, so we didn't have to go out in the heat to see it.
