Hangting Hotel Properties in Shanghai

Initially, I mistakenly went to the Hanting on Nanjing East Road. Everyone, please be careful not to make the same mistake – one is in the east, the other in the west. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the middle of the pedestrian street, and you can walk to People's Square. The TV in the room requires VIP access to watch programs, but thankfully, you can cast to it; otherwise, the TV would be pretty useless for tourists like us. The room design is exactly like the photos, very comfortable. Especially the bathroom, I'm very satisfied with it! Highly recommend!

As a running enthusiast from Chongqing, I specifically came to Shanghai's Century Park, a renowned running spot, to experience its outer loop track. The track at Century Park is indeed perfect and comfortable, offering an excellent running experience. The hotel's location is superb, very close to Century Park and also conveniently near the Maglev station. The hotel room was clean and tidy with complete facilities. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was plentiful, especially the dry-tossed noodles which were delicious. Overall, I was quite satisfied with this stay.

This Hanting hotel is perfectly located for exploring the Bund. It's just a two-minute walk from Nanjing East Road Station (Lines 2 and 10), and a three-minute stroll will take you directly to the Bund's historic buildings. Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, with its various snack stalls and shops, is also nearby. Getting to Yu Garden and Lujiazui is incredibly convenient from here. The hotel features a brand-new 4.0 renovation; the hallways and guest rooms are clean and odor-free. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing is good, ensuring a quiet night's rest. The front desk staff are friendly and efficient. They offer robot delivery services and free luggage storage, and the self-service laundry room is a thoughtful touch. The only minor drawbacks are the lack of a dedicated parking lot, which might be inconvenient for guests traveling by car, and the guest rooms are a bit on the small side. However, for a short trip to the Bund, it offers excellent value for money. It's an ideal base for enjoying the night scenery and visiting popular attractions. Highly recommended for your Shanghai visit.

Im very happy with my stay as a female solo traveller for my overnight Shanghai layover. It's a perfect location to explore the city, get some rest and shower then quickly access the train back to the airport. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I felt very safe. Unfortunately I didn't have time to grab breakfast although it is packed so I could of requested to take it there's plenty of food and shopping right outside the hotel open late until the evening. About a 25 min walk to the bund to see the beautiful city lights. The room was clean and comfortable. Even though it is very central location there was no noise at night so had a good sleep. I'm glad I chose this over staying closer to the airport. It was good to be closer to the sight seeing and all the food options and travel to the airport is about an hour on the Metro line 2 or quicker if you swap to the Maglev.

No need for many words, just look at the pictures. The entire room felt dirty, and there were small insects flying around. Even if you're not sick, you'd get sick staying here. The mobile network signal in the room was also very poor. This was the worst hotel I stayed at during my trip. I thought it was a big brand, so I booked it without worries, but it turns out the standard is just average. The only advantage is its location. The housekeeper was very diligent, but the hardware simply hasn't been maintained. I don't expect the hotel to take this review seriously anyway; I'm just writing these few lines for everyone else. Otherwise, the room wouldn't be in this state now.

The hotel is set back from the main road, which makes it pretty quiet. It's well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the front desk staff are great – they'll even prioritize giving you a room with a better view. Plus, there are tons of beef noodle restaurants nearby. Can you believe you can find a bowl of beef noodles for just 16 yuan in Shanghai?!

The room was very clean and tidy, and the location was excellent. It's just a 10-minute walk to The Bund and the core area of the colonial buildings, plus it's very close to the subway station. The staff were all incredibly helpful, polite, and proactively assisted us, promptly addressing any requests we had.

This hotel just opened in September, and it's fantastic! There's no unpleasant smell, the room is clean and tidy, and the service is warm and attentive. The breakfast spread is very rich, the location is convenient, and the bedding is super comfortable. Overall, it was a great stay and excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip. 👍

I was a bit nervous booking this hotel after reading some reviews, but it turned out to be really good. The room was spacious and clean. The housekeeping staff were excellent, always ready to help with anything we needed. Since I was traveling with my child and elderly parents, we opted for ride-sharing services instead of the subway. It cost around 33-35 yuan for a taxi to the Bund and about 35 yuan to the Lujiazui 'Three-piece Suit' skyscrapers. To get to Nanjing Road, it's a five-minute walk to the subway station, and then a 10-minute subway ride. Going to Shiliupu Cruise Terminal Gate 2 at 5 PM was a bit traffic-heavy, costing 52 yuan. Getting to Disneyland by subway took about an hour and ten minutes; the hotel is a five-minute walk from Subway Line 1, which connects to Line 11 directly to the Disney entrance – very convenient. That's why I didn't bother booking a hotel near Disneyland.

I came to the Shanghai Yunfeng Theatre for a show, and the location was superb! After the performance, it only took a two-minute walk back to the hotel. It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, so I rested very well. During the day, I could also visit the nearby Jing'an Temple. Highly recommended!
