Overall is good, especially for the location. However, we have to change one of our room due to the smell which makes us uncomfortable. The hotel stay was fantastic! One of the best and most luxurious hotels I have stayed in. It was huge and a family of 4 could stay comfortably. Wanted to get a day bed for my daughter but she was comfortable sleeping on the huge sofa. The facilities were complete and staff was great and help was given whenever it was needed. Every time my cab arrived at the hotel there was definitely someone opening the door for us.

Location is very good! It was just 2 minutes walk a block after Shipaiqiao subway exit D. Taiko hui, just next door, grand view malls, festival walk is not far away from the hotel. There are many restaurant around the hotel. Food court just before Exit D. We booked non smoking room but the room have cigarette smell heavily. We tried to get rid of the smell by opening the window and sprayed perfume but the smell didn’t go away. The hotel has free Laundry and dryer facility that was located at 8th floor. Detergent is also provided for free. Clean towels are provided everyday. Rooms are also cleaned everyday. After all it is a pleasant stay, room size is quite big. If you are looking for a economical place to stay at CBD area. This place is highly recommended. I will surely come back and stay at this place again in the future.

From the time that you enter the hotel, the lobby itself you can smell the scent really good. The service specially ”Jerry” he is the best. Our order has 2 breakfast everyday but the hotel record only shows 1. We have to show the trip.com confirmation (luckily husband has printed it out, we can't find it again from the order) and they checked that their record is wrong. Billy at the reception doesn't smile and I think he should ask me to add 1 more breakfast (because there is discount to add in advance) but he didn't do so and make me spent half hour to prove I should have 2 breakfast in the next morning. The manager Yannes has apologized and let us have breakfast in the VIP lounge (also free for tea time and happy hour). The food is only average. The waitress asked me if the food okay, I said the bread of the egg benedict is too soft. Then she answered usually people dont' eat the bread. Do you think her answer is so strange? The hotel is grand, the garden and pond is beautiful, room is cozy but you can hear the noise in the next room. The cleaning lady has good smile and polite. Very close to the MTR station and the restaurant Dim Dou Duck.

Checking in was a quick process and apparently this hotel chain is a big player in Guangzhou so expect a lot of activities. Housekeeping is provided daily but they missed out on the bed for one day during my stay. Breakfast is simple but good with drinks and limited fruits. Location is very convenient as it’s right smack at Beijing Road. As mentioned by other travelers, there’s only one elevator serving the entire building so expect a longer waiting time. The bonus about this hotel is their free laundry service.

That difficult decision- you have 7 hours at Guangzhou - Do you slum it in the lounge, scrapping for the last comfy seat, or risk getting a 144 hour visa, heading to the domestic terminal and booking into the hourly pod hotel! I'm still not sure it was a good idea, but grabbing 4 hours of sleep, getting a shower and hopping back on a plane for the second leg was ace. Would I advise running the gauntlet of a post-covid dash to domestic terminal? Maybe only if travelling solo & sprinting to the front of the visa line, with all necessary paperwork printed off and ready. No toilet, unless you cross the corridor and you'll need to pay via WeChat or in local currency. But the bed and the pod hotel concept is a wonderful treat mid-journey

It's just at Exit B of Shiqiao. It's only a three-minute walk away. It's super fast! There is a large shopping mall opposite Pinruo Hotel. It's also very convenient for shopping. Miss Xiaomai at the front desk is friendly and has good service. There are many places to eat nearby downstairs. place. The room is clean and hygienic, the corridor is quiet, the breakfast and afternoon tea are rich and delicious, and the scented tea is also delicious!!! Location was not the best, however it is close to the airport, only took 10 minutes for the driver to pick you up and they also provide free drop off service too. The room was not that big but I didn’t mind, all I cared about was that the bed was big and very comfortable. The room was also clean and so is the bathroom. Great service especially front desk receptionist, had no problems checking in and out.

Excellent location. Considering the price it is pretty decent or even the best option when you need a hotel near the airport. Check in was quick although front desk staff don’t speak english. Shuttle bus driver only picks up passenger at t1 departure gate. We had to go from arrival gate which is a few minute walk but still bearable.Room is clean overall considering the price although there were some stains on the chair. Bed was clean and huge. Noise from airplanes nearby is sometimes too much but there are earplugs provided. Food is delicious when we ordered dinner. They serve until 9:30 pm. We were late for breakfast and there were few options left to eat but the choices are just similar to so many other hotels in have been so that’s okay. Overall, it was a good stay. Thanks! 🙏

The hotel itself is fine for a layover before or after a flight to Guangzhou airport with clean and quiet rooms. However, the attitude of the chef during breakfast at the noodle station was disappointing, barking at us when placing an order as if the customer disturbed him by ordering food. Definitely not five star service. Will try another hotel next time.

If I describe the hardware of Jumeirah Living as a pupil getting 99 out of 100 in an exam, then I will be in big trouble when commenting its software – 100 out of 100 is just not enough to describe how wonderful the ladies and gentlemen at Jumeirah Living are! The hardware at Jumeirah Living may be amazing but still has something for me to be picky with. However, I guess even the most demanding people will find it a struggle to think of a word to be picky with Jumeirah Living’s people. Maybe I can put my conclusion here first: among all the hotels I have experienced in Guangzhou, Mandarin Oriental, Jumeirah, and Jumeirah Living have the most amazing people. While MO and Jumeirah hotel should be proud of their accomplishment, this is a particularly huge achievement for Jumeirah Living – any service apartment should be really proud of itself if its service is comparable to the finest hotels. It is just like a water polo athlete winning a professional swimmer in swimming. The fact that a water polo player can overperform a professional swimmer in swimming, which the former only practices as a supplement to her/his main training in water polo, proves how hardworking that water polo athlete is. I cannot respect this hard work more! Even though I would put MO, Jumeirah, and Jumeirah Living as the top three of Guangzhou, they are wonderful in very different ways. MO is like a well-educated Confucius scholar; Jumeirah hotel is like a royal butler polishing every service to the finest possible extent; for Jumeirah Living, my apologies, I need more than one sentence to make the metaphor. When we began college, the school would usually assign each of us a student mentor, who may be one year or two above us. These student mentors are usually exceptionally energetic and caring (to the extent they would worry if we knew where to eat pizza on campus!). However, their care is different from those from parents and teachers. They are much more easy-going and someone we can feel at ease to be with; someone we can laugh and hang out together. This is precisely how the ladies and gentlemen are like at Jumeirah Living! The most important thing is I do not think my encounter with these amazing people is incidental – I believe the culture of Jumeirah Living is like that. This is because I have encountered at least three people at Jumeirah Living (Abel, Vivian, and Winson) as easy-going, friendly, and helpful as the student mentor described above!

Easily one of the best hotels I have stayed in while in china. My wife and I already live in Guangzhou so we only went for a staycation but we were blown away by the room. The size of the room and the view from our window. We stayed on the 50th floor and I must say it was breathtaking. There were a few minor complaints, firstly the AC in the room wasn’t the best. So we found our self’s overheating a little during the night but it wasn’t unbearable. Second overall the staff were very nice and friendly but there was one lifeguard at the outside pool that was a little rude when we forgot to bring a swim hat to the pool. The breakfast too was a little overpriced for what it was and there are definitely better options outside the hotel Other than these complaints I can see why this is one of the best hotels in city and I would recommend this to anyone who can fit the price range.

This time I stayed in a girl's quadruple room. Fortunately, it was good and cheap. It was very close to the destination I was going to. I liked its location very much. It was very convenient to wash and sleep. The key was that the price was really cheap. The girls in the same room were also very nice. This is the level that the Youth Hostel should have. In short, I like it very much and will come again next time. There are a lot of food to go out across the road, and there are also 711 convenience stores. It's so convenient. Ok, this was a 5 star hotel and everything is expected to be immaculate. However, I had to sleep there for a night to notify them that their air conditioning wasn’t working. I lost 2 nights of sleep because of that… They also will not take your food deliveries and you will have to go downstairs all the way to take it yourself. Is it really posh and comfortable? Yes. Will your money be well spent? Not really.

I rented this room with my family because I was attending a banquet nearby. There were 4 bottles of free drinking water and two wash basins in the room, so I didn't have to fight for freshening up in the morning. The view outside the window was of the river and a large green tree. There are many convenience stores and small restaurants downstairs, so you don't have to worry about finding something to eat. Pazhou subway station is just a 3-minute walk away, and there is also the Mai Kee subway.

Visited during Lighting Exhibition and the main purpose of selecting this hotel was its close proximity to Exhibition center. I book twin suite room at 35% price of Shangri-la Hotel which is near to exhibition area too. It was a business visit so I did not have any high expectations. Room was very nice and spacious and there was a washing machine, microwave and many electric sockets. Room had big french windows directly facing the Exhibition area. Best part of the stay was its distance to Exhibition and it just took me 10 minutes walk to reach C Area and another 10 minutes to reach B Area through the bridge. There are not many restaurants near the hotel. Just 3-4 behind the hotel so I preferred calling food from wechat and had to go down to collect it. Overall it was a nice stay and I would like to come back during exhibition time again.

Excellent location. Do note that if booking Didi from airport, the hotel is called 美居, cost approx RMB50-60 including toll. Room has smart TV, good shower and aircon. Passenger lift is often spoilt or very slow. When we checked out today, all 4 passenger lifts were not working, everyone in the hotel had to use the one and only cargo lift and it was chaotic and stressful for those of us catching flights. We were on level 15 and had to plead passengers to squeeze and make room for our luggages in the cargo lift, one of us then walked down the stairs. Staff 米朵was most helpful with recommended dining locations.
