Location is good. Old hotel but it is ok as price is cheaper compare to hotel surroud.

I went to Guangzhou for grave sweeping with my parents who are over 80 years old. The receptionists are friendly, helpful and even help me to upgrade the room with no extra cost. This is already the second time I stayed in Grand Palace and will continue to do so.

Close enough to walk to the Guangzhou East train station, taxis, movies, other little stores and eateries. Old but very clean. The store has nice amenities like tea service, snacks, towel warmer and bidet. Front desk evening staff gets overwhelmed with more than three people in line. The TV volume is very low, but it did have one or two English channels. Room service is quick with nice staff. Day shift employees speak English too.

The hotel is old but clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. They spoke English. You would probably find this place a good match for the price.

Convenient to move around as near East Railway station. This east Railway station is main station from where trains travels to many other states of China. Hence people who like to travel to other States or provinces and at the same time want to enjoy Guangzhou without wasting time in traffic, then this is the Hotel to stay in. Travelers can try local food , which you will get abundant in nearby area. Very useful for Indians and other nationalities who often visit to Indian consulate for visa or commercial purpose, Indian consulate is just 10 minutes walking distance from this hotel. Basically staying here, is like “Complete Satisfaction “ !,

Good location. Close to Guangzhou East railway station, metro Line 1 and Line 3. About 10-15 mins walk. Nice staff. Clean room. Comfortable. A lot of restaurants nearby. Close to shopping mall too.

This hotel is really nice. The receptionist speaks English so it was easy to communicate and get a room. The location is convenient and it's easy to reach everything around the hotel.
