I used to go to Lanzhou and I always wanted to live in Ningwozhuang Hotel, but I couldn’t book it for various reasons. This time I finally got my wish. After I checked in, I was pleasantly surprised. When I entered the hotel door, I saw the blooming spring flowers, magnolia flowers and lush pine trees. A springy beauty makes people feel refreshed. The reception at the hotel was very warm. In the evening, I returned to the room with complimentary yogurt and fruit. After drinking, I had some yogurt to help sleep. I was very satisfied with the stay. We arrived too late for dinner in so ate noodles outside at one of many nearby places. The view over the Yellow River is pretty good and the hotel breakfast is very good value. The staff deserve special praise, very helpful for the checkin with all the Covid health code requirements they were very helpful. A special mention to the concierge, Wei Keyang/ICE, the concierge on duty was extremely helpful with my last minute request to ship some awkward shaped bulky souvenirs back to Jiangsu home. I caused no end of problems which he was very happy to help with and dillgently solved, even after we had checked out and got to the airport. It is service like this that really makes the difference and is very much appreciated.
