I highly recommend Ramada Encore by Wyndham Kunming Guandu! The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Kunming Railway Station, making it perfect for travelers catching high-speed trains for transfers. Traveling with my child this time, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a family room, which was incredibly heartwarming. The room was spacious and clean, with thorough housekeeping. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, and the hot water pressure was stable. The soundproofing in the high-floor rooms was good, allowing for a peaceful rest. After we finished the complimentary bottled water, we contacted the front desk, and they promptly refilled it. They also proactively provided extra bottles for our extended stay the next day, showing meticulous and attentive service. The amenities are very practical, including a self-service laundry room and a gym, which are super convenient for long journeys. The check-in process at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were friendly. Downstairs, there are many convenience stores and various snack shops, making it very easy to find food and groceries. The hotel's facilities are brand new, and it offers great value for money. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next transfer in Kunming. Truly recommended!

This hotel is truly excellent! The location is superb, right behind the train station, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's incredibly good value for money at this price. Every room has a full-length mirror, perfect for taking photos. The hotel's decor is beautiful and very Instagrammable. The staff are super responsive to messages, and the front desk team, both the guys and girls, were incredibly nice. Thank you all so much; my stay was very satisfying. I really enjoyed staying at your hotel. The view is also great, you can even see the Twin Towers!

I absolutely, truly, madly love this retro hotel! So comfortable and clean!!!! Five stars all the way!! The old-fashioned architectural texture and vintage soft furnishings exude a quiet elegance without feeling heavy or dated. The blend of retro and modern is just perfect!!! The room details are thoughtfully done, and the comfort level is completely on point. The staff service is also excellent!!! That attentive, considerate touch unique to older, established hotels!!!!! Love Kunming! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit!!!!!!!!!!!!

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn Kunming Railway Station, during a layover in Kunming, exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Kunming Railway Station. It's just an 8-minute walk with luggage, which is incredibly convenient for travelers catching a train, saving a lot of hassle and travel time. Upon checking in, I happened upon the hotel's grand opening event. The staff were warm and attentive, even giving out lovely small gifts, which really made me feel valued. Walking into the room, my first impression was how clean and tidy it was; every corner was spotless, and there were no strange odors. The bedding was soft and comfortable, providing a great night's rest, and the toiletries were also of good quality, offering a pleasant experience. The room layout was practical, and the sleeping environment was quiet, allowing for a peaceful rest after a long journey. Considering the location, cleanliness, and service, it's perfectly suited for a temporary stay during a railway transfer. If I have another layover in Kunming, I'll definitely prioritize this hotel again, and I highly recommend it to anyone needing to catch a train nearby.

I chose Orange Hotel near Kunming Station because I had an early train to catch. It's about a 10-minute walk. Shi Ying at the front desk was very helpful during check-in and also assisted us in collecting a parcel that was sent to the hotel. The room was generally clean and tidy, and the cleaning staff were very friendly. The hygiene standards were excellent. If I had to pick a downside, it would be the soundproofing. We stayed in a room facing the street and could faintly hear people talking downstairs.

Excellent, clean, and modern. The room was small and cozy and everything was clean. I enjoyed the small window view and bedside lights. Manager was super kind, gave me water while I waited during check -in. Staff was very nice too. Free laundry. Great location. 5minutes walk from north exit (train station). Also close to many restaurants, coffee shop, supermarket, and a local market area that sells toys for cheap. Hotel is in 6 building 14 floor. Thank you !! 😊

Having traveled to over 20 countries, this is my first time reviewing an accommodation. When you're on the road, you often miss home. But not here! We booked the Loft, with a living room on the first floor and a bedroom on the second, it felt just like home. We enjoyed tea daily, and the hotel even provided complimentary afternoon tea. The 24-hour butler service was excellent, always available and responsive. They thoughtfully prepared a travel guide for us. The daily breakfast was a delicious mix of Chinese and Western options! We will definitely be back.

Seriously can't recommend this place enough for business trips! For this price, it felt like a 4-star experience – amazing value for money! The service was incredibly thoughtful! When I arrived with a big suitcase, the staff member immediately offered to help and even upgraded me to a family room. My impression of the hotel shot up instantly! The ambiance was right up my alley! The yellow-themed room was bright and cozy, with adorable cartoon prints on the wall and cute deer figurines. There was even a small sofa by the window, perfect for chilling with my phone at night – so comfortable! The cleanliness details were top-notch! As soon as I entered the room, I noticed a faint scent of disinfectant. The sheets and duvet covers were freshly changed, and even the hangers and bathrobes smelled like they'd been sun-dried. I felt completely at ease staying there! Getting around was super convenient! There's a bus stop right downstairs, and the subway entrance is just a 10-minute walk away. It's super close to all the attractions and shopping districts, which is perfect for us 'walking warriors'! For this price, you absolutely have to book this place! I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

We had a wonderful stay at Moonlight Courtyard Hotel during our trip to Kunming. The hotel boasts a truly unique ambiance with its beautiful and tranquil courtyard design. The moment we stepped in, we immediately felt a sense of relaxation. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, making us feel right at home. The hotel also offers a fantastic array of complimentary services, including breakfast, afternoon tea, sweet soup before bedtime, free laundry service, Chinese tea tasting, and even a Hanfu experience. While the room rate isn't the cheapest, I believe it's absolutely worth it, as they provide far more than just a place to sleep – it's a complete and thoughtfully curated experience. During our stay, I wasn't feeling very well, so having such a quiet and comfortable environment to rest in was incredibly important to me. The staff's concern and care truly made me feel comforted and supported. The hotel's location is also very convenient, being close to Nanping Pedestrian Street, Jinma Biji Archway, and Kunming Old Street, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. Thank you to the entire hotel team for your care these past few days. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Kunming and would highly recommend it to friends who appreciate a charming courtyard style and a thoughtful accommodation experience.
