If you're looking for a friendly budget stay and right smack in the middle of kunming, highly recommend u consider here. Its got everything you need and a high rise view. Even has chagee right downstairs for you chagee lovers:)

This hotel is pretty good, and the location is easy to find. It's surrounded by a mall, so dining, drinking, and getting around are all very convenient. The lady at the front desk who checked us in was also very enthusiastic. Since we had two kids with us, and their height exceeded the breakfast standard, they still kindly offered us complimentary breakfast. It was a great gesture, definitely worth recommending!

Spacious rooms, front desk is professional. Rooms on the second floor have terraces but some are larger than others; room 206 specifically has a smaller terrace and gets sun starting in the afternoon around 3pm. The hotel is within walking distance to Hello World (large mall about 20mins on foot). The immediate area surrounding the hotel has a lot of large trucks going in and out; it’s still an area undergoing development and not a main scenic or tourist area. However, it’s good value for the room if you get a car to and from destinations.

This hotel offers great value for money. Although the facilities are a bit old, the rooms are clean and hygienic. Plus, they provide complimentary afternoon tea and supper. The breakfast spread is incredibly rich – you can find everything you could possibly want, and the noodles are especially delicious! The front desk staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. A special shout-out to 526 and 501!

The room is not bad overall, the price is here, but what I need to show is that I have already made a note on the special request, non-smoking room, we opened the door to enter a big smell of smoke, WeChat sent a message saying that the smell of smoke is big, there is no positive answer directly, the air conditioner is turned on, The taste is less, the sound insulation effect is not good, at 8:30 in the morning, I was awakened by the noise of the corridor, so overall, I can say that the price is good,

The decor is absolutely stunning; the rooms, lobby, and hallways are incredibly well-designed, almost like works of art. The front desk and housekeeping staff are exceptionally thoughtful, attentive, and enthusiastic. You can really tell they prioritize both service and aesthetics while also ensuring a great guest experience – they've put a lot of heart into it. The in-room smart technology is fantastic. The breakfast and lunch on the first floor are also delicious. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming. And a quick note, nearly every staff member is remarkably good-looking, clearly a very deliberate and impressive selection of employees. It's a pleasure to behold!

Honestly, this hotel's rating is definitely underestimated. It's a traditional, established five-star hotel. We got a free room upgrade, and the room was very spacious. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are all high-quality. The hotel also has a large parking lot and lobby, and the breakfast area is huge with a wide variety of options. I've stayed at Century Golden Resources in Chongqing, which is a renowned hotel there. I'm not sure why it seems to be perceived as lesser in Kunming; it's severely underrated. They offer free umbrella rentals, and there's a huge shopping mall nearby, making everything very convenient. The best part is that the prices didn't even go up during the May Day holiday, which is incredibly fair. The only drawback is that they are currently undergoing renovations, so it's a bit noisy during the day. However, we were out exploring during the day, so we mostly avoided the noise. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The room was clean, odor-free, the bathroom had good drainage, and the bed was comfortable. The front desk receptionist was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room. The location is not far from the subway station, and travel is very convenient.
