I had a wonderful time at this hotel! I will stay there again if I am in Kunming! The service was wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was amazing - right across from Green Lake and near Wenlin street, near great restaurants and shopping. The room was comfortable and views were incredible. The fitness center with its view of the city was so amazing that it made me want to exercise longer! The only thing is just double-check if the pool will be open before you book. I did not read carefully but they actually put a notice on Trip that the pool wouldn't be open during my stay but I didn't check the note carefully. I was sad when it was closed because it is hard to find outdoor pools in China. But other than that, I had a wonderful stay and hope to return!

This is my repeat visit in a year. Love the vibe, the food, the room, the set up & more. At prices which caters for most solo travellers. I feel totally at home here. A big thankU to Tristian who took real care of me and my big suitcase. I also liked it that staff brought their toddlers to work, & residents staff were happy to kept a eye. A small idea, with new tech a lift might possibly be installed, making it ”accessible” from reception to common room, as well saving staff's carrying heavy luggage.

This is my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Kunming. The service is excellent, and the location is unbeatable, facing Cuihu Lake and close to Yunnan University and the Army Lecture Hall. While the rooms aren't huge, they are well-equipped and tastefully decorated. Upon check-in, I received vouchers for BBQ and beer, which was a nice touch, and there's also a late-night snack option. It's so pleasant to enjoy some rice noodles and then head back to relax.

I've stayed at this hotel several times over the years when I visit Kunming, and the room standards are consistently excellent. They're very clean, and I appreciate the mini-bar and multiple bottles of mineral water. This time, since I was only staying one night by myself, I didn't opt for a room with a view. Still, the wet and dry areas were separate, there was a desk and a sofa, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel continues to offer flower cakes upon check-in and a souvenir when checking out. I'll definitely be staying here again!

Overall, the room decor was exquisite, befitting an established star-rated hotel. On the day of my stay, the front desk staff presented me with a rose, which was a lovely touch. Most hotel staff greeted guests politely. However, there were several issues that I hope the hotel can address to further improve service quality. 1. **Consumables:** Room amenities were not replenished promptly or were missing entirely, such as bath towels, soap, snacks, and fruit. 2. **Service:** Room cleaning was not timely; one day, it wasn't done even by 4 PM, which was very inconvenient for guests. We had to call the butler service to get someone to clean it. 3. **Hygiene:** During my multi-day stay, the bed linens were not changed for four consecutive days. 4. **Soundproofing:** The sound of showering from the room upstairs at night significantly disturbed my sleep.

My overall stay at the Gongxili Pujian Hotel was excellent. The New Chinese-style decor, with its national aesthetic and Zen elements, is elegant and tranquil. The courtyard offers a serene environment, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The location is superb, close to Cuihu Lake and Yuantong Temple, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The rooms are clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding, and each room is equipped with a direct-drinking water dispenser and a separate wet/dry bathroom. The front desk service was attentive and thoughtful, and the staff were kind and efficient with check-in. The self-service breakfast offered a rich variety, and there's also a free tea room and laundry room. The whole atmosphere is great, quiet and comfortable, making it very suitable for business trips or leisure travel. Highly recommended.

I booked this hotel because of its proximity to Green Lake, and it truly is convenient—just a few minutes' walk away. After exploring the surrounding attractions during the day, I can easily stroll over in the evening for a refreshing view. For tourists, the location is incredibly convenient. The hotel is newly opened, so everything is brand new. The first impression upon entering is its cleanliness and tidiness; the facilities look brand new, which gives me peace of mind. The lobby is spacious, with a predominantly black design and dim lighting, creating a pleasant atmosphere rather than a brightly lit business setting. There's even a library area in the corner, perfect for relaxing and reading after a long day of sightseeing. The room is also spacious; my suitcase was easily laid out without getting in the way. The bedding deserves special praise. The mattress was just the right firmness, and the blankets and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. Plus, the new hotel has excellent soundproofing, so there was hardly any noise. Even though I'm usually sensitive to noise, I slept soundly until morning, without even hearing my alarm. For a traveler who walks 20,000 steps a day, a good night's sleep is crucial, leaving me fully refreshed for the next day's explorations. The service also deserves a mention. From the front desk to the guest rooms, the staff were all exceptionally friendly. They greeted us proactively, responded quickly to our questions about directions and requests for items, and patiently introduced nearby attractions and recommended good rice noodle restaurants during check-in. Their genuine hospitality went beyond mere formality. Overall, there was nothing to complain about. The location was great, the amenities were new, we slept well, and the service was comfortable – more than enough for a tourist. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming, and I would also recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Green Lake.

Near Cuihu Park, I only realized how worth visiting it was when I passed by in a taxi on my way out! Unfortunately, time was short, so I'm looking forward to my next visit! You can ride an electric scooter or walk to Kunming Old Street, there are many places to explore around there. They offer laundry and drying services, and the machines are quite powerful! They're located on the third floor of the hotel ❤️ However, the laundry room was really hot, I suggest they look into how to adjust that. The hotel also provides free coffee, and it tastes good.

This Atour hotel seems to be a renovated property, as some of the furniture looks a bit dated. However, I always choose Atour for their incredibly comfortable mattresses and pillows, and this stay was no exception! The location is excellent, very close to Cuihu Park with plenty of dining options nearby, making it super convenient. We had a family room, and the kids slept soundly on the big bed. There are also local breakfast spots in the surrounding alleyways, which gives you a real taste of the local life. Late check-out until 2 PM was also a nice bonus.

I highly recommend the Hometel on Youth Road! The location is excellent, with super convenient transportation, and plenty of dining options and supermarkets nearby, making it easy to get around and explore. From the moment you step in, you'll feel the thoughtful and attentive service; the staff are gentle, friendly, and genuinely warm. The room is clean and refreshing, with a well-organized and rational layout that gives off a cozy, home-like feel. The bedding is soft and comfortable, the bathroom is spotless and odor-free, and hot water is reliably available 24/7. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and elegant, away from the hustle and bustle, making for a relaxing and pleasant stay. The value for money is excellent, offering a superb experience for an affordable price. My entire stay was comfortable and carefree, a truly fulfilling experience. It's an excellent choice for short stays and definitely worth returning to.
