Love the overall ambience of the hotel! The room was look exactly the same as described when we were booking our stay, soundproofing was great as well. Although our room faces directly to the highway but as long as windows are closed, the room remains quiet and peaceful, so it did not disrupt our sleep at all. Huge variety of food options for breakfast and they also have a dedicated utility area where we can wash and dry our clothes during our stay!

Excellent Stay with Great Comfort and Service I had a wonderful stay at Yunzhi Shang Hotel (Kunming Tongde Plaza Xiaocaiyuan Subway Station Branch) from 12–14 June 2026. The hotel was clean, modern, and very well maintained, making it a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring Kunming. The room was spacious, spotless, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist with any questions or requests. The location is another major advantage, with the Xiaocaiyuan Metro Station nearby, making it convenient to travel around the city. There are also plenty of shops and eateries in the surrounding area, adding to the overall convenience. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kunming. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

I brought my family to Kunming and chose this hotel, and the experience was excellent. The rooms are all smart; you just need to call out ”Xiao Jin” to control the lights, curtains, and even schedule laundry. You can also ask Xiao Jin about nearby attractions, which is very helpful when traveling to an unfamiliar city. The mattress firmness is just right, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom is very well designed. There's also a large vanity mirror. Not only are the facilities complete, but they are also very well maintained. Chen, the receptionist, was proactive and enthusiastic in her service and checked us in efficiently. The room she arranged for us was very satisfactory. It's clear that the hotel puts a lot of thought into its facilities and service. If we have the chance, we'll definitely choose to stay at Tulip Inn again.

This is my top pick when traveling to Kunming. It's super close to Cuihu Lake, so you don't have to travel far; you can just pop over to the lake anytime for a leisurely stroll and to enjoy the scenery. The room was clean and odor-free, and the soundproofing was good. The transportation around here is convenient, and there are tons of great food options. The service was attentive and thoughtful. Staying here made exploring Cuihu Lake and its surroundings easy and comfortable.

The hotel is brand new; the front desk staff mentioned it was just renovated this year. The rooms are very spacious and feature a modern, business-chic design. The bedding is also excellent; you can tell the owner pays great attention to detail. Considering its central location (within the First Ring Road), the amenities offered here provide excellent value. They even sell flower cakes in the lobby, and I bought a few boxes to take home for my family to enjoy.

The room was great, with soft and comfortable bedding. It was very clean and quiet, so I slept really well at night. I'll definitely come back next time.

To see the jacarandas on Jiaochang Road, I searched for many hotels on Trip.com and finally chose Wenhui Hotel. Although the hotel is a bit old, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Kunming University of Science and Technology, about 500 meters from Jiaochang Middle Road, making it very convenient for getting around and taking taxis. All the hotel staff were very polite. The front desk lady responded promptly to my small requests. The breakfast was decent, with many local Yunnan specialties, and it was clean and hygienic. My room had a great view, with the jacarandas on Jiaochang Middle Road visible from the window, and I even saw the sunrise in the morning. The entire room was bright and airy, with no strange smells. As a solo traveler, this hotel stay was the best value for money. Kunming in spring is beautiful and romantic, with flowers everywhere and an abundance of fresh fruit. During my three-day, two-night stay, I felt right at home at Wenhui Hotel. Very satisfied.

The computer screen was too small for my business trip, so being able to remotely connect was incredibly, incredibly, incredibly, incredibly, incredibly, incredibly convenient. The chair was also comfortable. Since I had trouble charging my devices, the front desk even provided a power strip. Plus, the breakfast was delicious! Really great, highly recommend!!!
