Tap didn’t work, bad shower, bad air conditioning and the room was smelly. Far better options than this.

Pleasant Stay with Excellent Service in Chaweng
I recently stayed at Lotus Friendly Hotel in Chaweng with my wife and baby. The hotel boasts cleanliness and spaciousness, with daily room cleaning ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing us with valuable information.
One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the hotel's restaurant, which offered delicious Mediterranean-style cuisine. The restaurant staff were exceptional, making our dining experience truly memorable. They were also incredibly friendly and accommodating towards our baby, which made us feel even more welcome.
The hotel's location was convenient, with a Seven Eleven and several restaurants nearby, making it easy to access essentials and dining options. Additionally, the beach was just a 2-minute walk away, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful coastline effortlessly. While the city center was a bit further, a 20-minute walk provided an opportunity to explore more of Chaweng.
The only minor downside was the noise at night, which is perhaps typical of the vibrant atmosphere in Chaweng. However, this did not significantly detract from our overall experience, as the hotel's other amenities and exceptional service more than made up for it.
Overall, I highly recommend Lotus Friendly Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Chaweng. The combination of cleanliness, spaciousness, excellent service, and convenient location makes it a top choice for travelers. We look forward to returning in the future.

Good hotel for this price. Big minus is that they don't have safeboxes even at the reception
Yea, and a very(!) slippy floor.
The beach is rocky and if you want to swim you should take a small walk along the water.

This hotel is great because of its location, dining experience, friendly staff, motorbike rental, cute cats, clean room, and beautiful palm trees. When I return to Koh Samui, I would definitely stay here again.

No lift on top floor 4 flights of stairs , ,bath towels where old very shabby smelt and rock hard , be good for sanding wood ! !! The water goes off when busy times so cannot have shower or flush toilet

Need new towels urgently and bathroom needs upgraded asap

This is a very friendly hotel, helpful in what ever you need. Transport, laundry… More quite down here but its a 10 min walk to the busy streets…

The hotel is located a 2-3 minute walk from the sea, the area is quite noisy, there are a lot of cars. The room was clean, but the toilet flush did not work. The tank was repaired, but the air conditioner broke down at night, and it was stuffy and hot all night. Upon check-in they took a deposit of 2000 baht.

a terrible experience. Premise, I turned to an agency to be on the safe side, regarding hotels and transport to reach it. Phuket Travel Shop Agency. arrived in Ko Samui on February 16th, we checked in, our rooms were in a building detached from the reception, the driveway was dark and full of puddles, an unpleasant smell in the room, towels as rough as glass paper, air conditioning despite being set at 18 degrees it was hot, then the split started to drip, so much so that I had to put a towel on the floor to avoid slipping. I go to reception to point out all this, they reply that they would fix the air conditioner when I return. I returned to the room around midnight, the air conditioner was dripping even more, I point out again, around one in the morning two workers finish their work and I can sleep. The next day I ask to change rooms, but taking a look at the other rooms I understand that this is the case to leave the hotel early. I also report all this to the agency, but nothing changes. After the first night I checked out, even though I paid for 5 nights. the agency tells me that it is not refundable, and in any case I can send an email to report it. Upon my return, I go to the agency to try to get a refund, they tell me it's late, I should have done it immediately after checking out, something they never told me before. Conclusion, I paid for a poorly used service, certainly due to a shameful hotel, but also the agency that offered it to me and then was unable to show me a possible way out. I saw that the stay was completed so both the hotel and the agency they did their good job and literally took me for a ride.
