Magic live smart hotel(Chengdu Taikoo Li Store) Reviews

I planned to stay at this hotel but had to leave after the first night. The hotel was possibly the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in recent memory. Things to improve: Reception has a very bad smell, perhaps closing the door would help to stop street smells coming inside? I asked for a non smoking room but got a smoking one without warning. I would expect to be contacted in advance or during check in if this request is not possible. Room didn’t feel or smell clean. I was told during check in that the hot water wasn’t working but it would work again from 7am. I tried to shower at 7:30 and there was no hot water. There was a blue light on the ceiling that made it difficult to sleep, it almost lit up the whole room. Road noise was very intrusive, the window stops almost no noise. I had to use ear plugs that I brought with me. The hotel seems to have a different name to what is listed, it’s now called “Magic live smart hotel”, possibly has a different owner? Despite all that, the staff were helpful and offered to move to a non smoking room the next night, but given the other issues I chose to leave to a different hotel.

the room is big and spacious, looks cozy and modern with smart controls! it’s strategically located near metros and food places as well, recommended!

Good. Next time I still choose this hotel if i have chance comeback Chengdu.

Excellent and very convenient location. Hotel located just opposite to the IFS and nearby TaiKooLi surrounded with plenty of restaurants. The price for room is cheap and affordable

Very good location. Just opposite IFS. So convenient, right beside there's convenient store and eatery. subway, chun xi pedestrian walk, taikooli malls etc just a very short walk away. Service was very good and room deco, amenities was incredible for a small boutique hotel, better than most 5 Stars hotel. Heated toilet seat, projector screen, terrace, auto curtain etc etc.

Location is nice, directly Oppositite of a food street and Shopping mall. Cleanines of rooms are ok, but saw cockroaches in front of our room. The pool looks a bit Messe and should be cleaned more regularly (we did not use it because of a lot of dead flies)

Room is okay. Has cigarette burn marks on floor. But it is very spacious. Bed is comfy. Bidet is available and good.

Great team and great location. We enjoyed our stay and the team as doing his best to assist us and accommodate all our needs.

The hotel location is very good. Just few minutes walk to Chunxi Road, IFS and all branded stores are across the road, Chunxi metro is just 2 mjnutes walk. The hotel is surrounded by Restaurants. We stayed in Family deluxe room with big movie screen, tatami. The room size is big. I will surely come back to this hotel again next time.

Not a family friendly stay: we were "upgraded" to a projection screen room because the family friendly room was not ready - but the room was not very friendly to a small 2 year old. Lobby smelled like a sewer (pee & poo) - Staff said it was because of a nearby restaurant that serves lower intestine. Room had many stains on the floor, walls, projection screen, and was not very clean. Service was ok when we requested extra towels or water bottles. The bathtub had a lot of hair in it - hotel provides a plastic bath cover. Location was fantastic, however we will not return.

Location is amzing, walking distance to everything. In the heart of shopping district, very clean room my wife loved it

Very good location. Just opposite of IFS. Walking distance to Taikoo Li and Chunxi. Very AI hotel. Mostly automated - unique experience in such accommodation. Staff services was great! No complains about this property!

On our 2nd night, toilet bidet spoil. Wechat with the hotel late at night and they sent someone to fix the next day. As the part was not available, they help us changed to a new room. Very happy with the prompt response from the hotel and my girl also enjoy the big outdoor mini hot tub. And the hotel location is very good. Walking distance to subway, food n shopping n massage.
