The Yabuli Yabuluoni Hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of the ski resort, offering incredibly convenient ski-in/ski-out access directly to the slopes and lifts. The rooms are clean, warm, and offer expansive views; you can enjoy the snow scenery right from your window. The facilities are comprehensive, with ski rental and dining all available in one spot. The service is enthusiastic and responsive, and it offers great value for money. It's truly the top choice for a ski holiday; we had a comfortable and worry-free stay. We'll definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommended!

Guest UserThe hotel's front desk service was incredibly welcoming, and they even gave us a small gift. We were very satisfied with our room and were also granted a late check-out. The service overall was excellent. They provided a complimentary afternoon tea, and on the second floor, there's a Russian restaurant and a 'tieguodun' (iron pot stew) place, plus they offered discount coupons. There are many great restaurants and attractions around the hotel, and Central Street is beautiful. It was a really great experience!

AilidemadiThis hotel is really great! First off, the location is excellent. It's directly across from the Cross-River Cableway Castle, right next to the Songhua River and Stalin Park, and very close to Central Street. Plus, there's a subway station right nearby, making transportation incredibly convenient. Secondly, the hotel facilities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and they thoughtfully provide earplugs and humidifiers. The breakfast spread is abundant, and you can enjoy authentic Harbin local snacks and Russian cuisine. Thirdly, let's talk about the service – it's truly warm and attentive, making you feel right at home. The lobby walls are covered with small cards offering various Harbin travel tips, which you can take as needed. The staff's enthusiasm makes you feel like they want to give you the very best. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied.

Guest UserRight from the moment we arrived, someone was there to greet us at the hotel entrance, helping with our luggage. They also assisted us with our bags to the elevator after check-in, as there were steps. Similarly, when we left, someone helped us carry our luggage down the steps. The room was spacious, featuring a bathtub, sofa, and a recliner. The bed was comfortable, the shower had excellent water pressure, and even the shampoo was good. The location is great, perfect for a walk around Central Street, Flood Control Memorial Tower, and Saint Sophia Cathedral. There are convenient stores, Russian restaurants, and 'tieguo dun' (iron pot stew) places all within a short walk. The only minor drawback is that the bathroom glass door is a bit transparent. The shower area, in particular, faces directly into the room with little privacy. While this might be convenient for parents keeping an eye on young children during a family trip, it could be a bit awkward for older children, requiring some extra consideration for privacy.

Guest UserExtremely satisfied with our stay! The location is super convenient, just a short walk to Central Street and Metro Line 3, making it easy to get to the high-speed rail station and other places. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. They also offer afternoon tea, coffee, and lemon water – it was so refreshing to have a drink after coming back to the hotel. They even provide special slippers and toothbrushes for children. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit!

NATALIA EOverall, the hotel left a pleasant impression thanks to its location, beautiful interior, and atmosphere. The location is excellent, near Central Street, for strolling around Harbin, visiting the main attractions, and enjoying the city at night. The hotel design is truly beautiful: the attention to style is palpable, conveying a sense of elegance and the historic character of Harbin. The staff is polite and helpful, and the stay was overall comfortable.
I'd especially like to mention the breakfasts. We really love Chinese breakfasts and always choose local cuisine. We rate this hotel's breakfasts a «4 out of 5», the quality is satisfactory, but the selection and variety are rather monotonous. Considering the hotel positions itself as a luxury hotel, we expected more variety. At other Harbin hotels that don't place such an emphasis on luxury, we've experienced much more interesting and extensive breakfasts with a wider selection of Chinese dishes.
However, there are some aspects that were somewhat disappointing and don't live up to the standard advertised.
Firstly, the hotel description and booking conditions don't fully reflect reality. For example, the description mentions a pool and spa area, but the hotel doesn't actually have one. The Lizzy premium gift was also mentioned when booking, but we didn't receive it.
There are also questions about the room's cleaning and finishing details. In the bathroom, the back of the sink (the part that's usually hidden from view) is clearly visible when looking in the mirror. There are visible marks on it, similar to adhesive or sealant residue from installation, which looks sloppy. Therefore, despite the overall impression of a beautiful hotel, the cleaning and finishing can't be described as perfect.
There's also a design flaw in the shower: water spills onto the floor near the toilet during use. You have to shower in a certain position to avoid flooding the room.
Overall, this is a beautiful boutique hotel with a great location and a pleasant atmosphere, but for the stated standard and price, I would have liked more clarity in the service descriptions, more thorough quality control, and attention to detail. It's these details that separate a simply beautiful hotel from a truly luxurious one.

Guest UserWhat's it like to be a ”castle owner” for a night?
The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view.
The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please.
This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret.
It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place?
Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.

XikangAside from the front desk staff's attitude being a bit subpar on the first day during check-in, everything else was great. The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to get to Central Street and other major attractions. They really put thought into providing afternoon tea for guests. The room facilities are comprehensive, and the surrounding amenities are complete. The breakfast was also exquisite. Highly recommended.

The hotel is ideally located right on Central Street. Its rich historical charm is a significant selling point. Since my child and I have different routines, I listened to the hotel's introduction twice – once with my husband and once with my child – and the experiences were quite different. The first young lady rattled through the information quickly, almost like reciting from memory. However, the second gentleman was very enthusiastic, telling stories, reminding us to record and take photos, interacting with my child, and even offering to get house-made yogurt for the little one, which was wonderful. The hotel introductions seem to follow a standard template and are a bit too short. Adding more stories would enhance the experience; for example, the introductions at Suzhou Nan Yuan Hotel are particularly engaging.
The hotel kettle is truly ancient. The lid pops open while boiling water, and it doesn't automatically switch off when the water boils, leading to it boiling dry. This is genuinely poor and poses a safety hazard. At breakfast, I asked for sesame oil for my child's noodles, and the noodle-making auntie initially said there wasn't any. I then asked if she could get some from the back kitchen, and she did eventually get some for my child. Overall, the stay was decent, but as a five-star hotel, it needs to improve its service, facilities, and staff training.
