I specifically chose to stay at the Yalong Bay Welcome Hotel for two nights just for the underwater restaurant, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's overall design is modern and refined. The rooms are spacious with excellent natural light, and daily housekeeping is meticulous, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring stay. The most unforgettable part was the Aquamarine Underwater Restaurant. While dining, you're separated by a huge viewing tank, watching groupers and various tropical fish swim freely. I even saw a giant grouper I'd previously encountered up close swimming right by the window—it was both romantic and therapeutic. The hotel service was impeccable throughout; our butler, Gina, was thoughtful and attentive. Breakfast was rich and varied. A short walk takes you to Yalong Bay beach in minutes, and it's convenient to relax by the pool or explore the surrounding commercial areas. My two days of leisurely vacation were incredibly enjoyable; both the soft and hardware are flawless. It's a highly recommended hotel for a Sanya getaway!

My stay at Wanda Vista Sanya Haitang Bay was absolutely perfect! The hotel's tropical gardens are serene and elegant, offering direct oceanfront views in a peaceful and relaxing environment. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, and very convenient for getting to the duty-free shop. The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients. Ella was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and attentive, quickly resolving all my needs. Overall, the value for money is exceptional, and the vacation experience was outstanding. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sanya!

Having experienced the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay, and considering our itinerary, I decided to try the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay. The day before our check-in, Kaylee from guest relations proactively contacted me to confirm the details and made thoughtful arrangements for us. 👍 On the day of our check-in, it was pouring rain in Haitang Bay. We were stuck with our luggage in the duty-free shop, watching the rain show no signs of stopping. I contacted Kaylee to ask if the hotel could send someone to pick us up. Kaylee informed me that the hotel didn't have vehicles that could go to the duty-free shop. However, the hotel staff later sent umbrellas for us, helped us move our luggage to the hotel's side entrance, and then the hotel shuttle took us to the lobby. 👍 The hotel lobby is much larger than the InterContinental Sanya Dadonghai, and the overall scale feels comparable to the Westin Wanning/Lingshui. The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. The fruit was delicious, and the room was equipped with Baishui Mountain mineral water, with Pure Enjoyment still water for refills. During our stay, whenever I contacted Kaylee, she responded immediately and acted quickly, even when she was off duty, which was impressive! So nice! 👍 Before coming, I learned that the hotel has a large fish tank with many fish, including sea turtles and manta rays. So, I took my child to the viewing tunnel on B2. My child was deeply fascinated by the fish, especially when they saw a giant grouper. My child blurted out, ”Look, fish 2.0!” I was puzzled, and my child explained it was like ”oil tanker 2.0,” with a bunch of smaller fish (like planes) following it. 🤭 We also saw a mermaid show. However, due to the distance of the performance area and limited visibility at the bottom of the tank, we could only see silhouettes. Fortunately, there were pictures of the mermaid show on the tunnel wall, which allowed me to explain it to my child in detail. The entire tunnel wall was covered with科普资料 (scientific information) about various fish, allowing for both viewing and learning. 👍 The tunnel also had multiple observation windows, so you could find your best viewing angle. 👍 The hotel boasts a vast lawn. Looking out, the skyline, the ocean, the greenery, and the lawn were truly refreshing. 👍 The waves in Haitang Bay are indeed strong and powerful, far exceeding those in Wanning and Lingshui. The beach quality is much better than Yalong Bay. We even encountered crabs during the day. 🤗 The breakfast restaurant was spacious, with ample seating. Even during peak hours, we didn't see guests waiting in line. The breakfast spread was rich, and they even offered specialty Xinglong coffee. The lobby staff were enthusiastic and all smiles. Seeing us with our luggage, they proactively helped us move it. 👍 Big kudos again to Kaylee from guest relations! 👍 And kudos to the hotel for its excellent service! 👍

Two days that far exceeded my expectations! Our butler, Coral, was so thoughtful. It must have been the off-season because we got an upgrade. She was always quick to respond to any questions, which was super convenient. The room was huge, with two beds facing the balcony, so you could lie in bed and watch the ocean and sunrise. One wall of the bathroom was glass, facing the sea, making it clean and bright. The restaurant was just downstairs, and the roasted chicken at the Thai restaurant was delicious. The room was also very close to the beach, perfect for water activities. In the evenings, you could watch movies on the lawn. There's also a seafood BBQ buffet right by the beach, and they start playing music every evening, creating a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I had a pleasant stay at Atour Hotel Haikou Wanguo Metropolitan Qilou Old Street. Prior to arrival, I requested an early check-in as well as a high-floor room away from the lifts if possible, and the hotel accommodated both requests perfectly. The room was located on a high floor and offered a fantastic 270-degree panoramic view, which was undoubtedly the highlight of my stay. The front desk team was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout. Special thanks to Front Desk Manager 万新, team member 幸怡, and the rest of the team, who went above and beyond in assisting with the collection of multiple parcels before my arrival. Their proactive assistance and warm hospitality were greatly appreciated. Communication was also very convenient, as the front desk was highly responsive via WeChat and quick to assist whenever needed. Some feedback during the stay: The room itself had a somewhat unconventional layout, likely due to the building's structure and the corner positioning required to achieve the panoramic view - totally understandable and appreciate the Front Desk for explaining it to me upon my arrival. From previous reviews, I had expected the room to feature smart controls (possibly Xiaodu, heated/automated toilet bowl as seen on other reviews), but I was not briefed on any smart room functions during check-in and could not seem to activate them myself. This was not a major issue, but a brief introduction during check-in or a simple user guide in the room would have been helpful. The panoramic view was absolutely stunning, especially during the day and around sunset. One thing to note, however, is that the floor-to-ceiling windows allow a significant amount of sunlight into the room. On particularly sunny days, the room could feel quite warm even with the air-conditioning running at full blast. Blackout curtains are provided, of course, but drawing them somewhat defeats the purpose of enjoying such a spectacular view. Breakfast was decent, offering a reasonable variety of options, although nothing particularly stood out. It was perfectly adequate for starting the day, but not one of the hotel's main highlights. One small observation regarding housekeeping: on my third morning, while I was heading out for breakfast, a housekeeper casually asked me in the corridor whether I was ”still staying today.” I understood that she was likely trying to confirm whether the room required servicing or whether I would be checking out, but the phrasing felt a little awkward. A more guest-friendly way of asking might create a better impression. A couple of other points worth noting: sound insulation around the room doors could be improved, as neighbouring room doors closing could be quite noticeable. In addition, the room door requires a firm push to shut completely; otherwise, an alarm will sound. There were also some mosquitoes around the hotel premises, although the room was thoughtfully equipped with an electronic mosquito repellent. The hotel's location is reasonably convenient, but it is worth noting that it is not quite as close to Qilou Old Street and some of the nearby attractions as I had initially expected. While the area is technically walkable, Haikou's heat and humidity can make the walk feel much longer and less pleasant, especially during the day. In practice, I often found myself opting for Didi (online-hailing app)instead. Not a major drawback, but something to keep in mind if you plan to explore the area primarily on foot Overall, the excellent service, responsive staff, and spectacular panoramic view made for a very enjoyable stay. Despite a few minor quirks, I would happily stay here again on a future visit to Haikou.

This is my umpteenth time staying at the Four Seasons Haiting Hotel. Whenever I visit Sanya, I always try out a few different hotels, and besides the beachfront resorts, the Four Seasons Haiting Hotel is always my top choice because it offers incredible value for money. This time, Mr. Li at the front desk left a lasting impression on me – he was incredibly warm, attentive, and had excellent emotional intelligence. He communicated with guests genuinely, without any perfunctory responses, and even my elderly family members expressed their sincere gratitude to him. What I noticed this trip was how few Chinese guests there were and how many Russians; during meal times, I honestly felt like I was abroad! The hotel is just as good as ever, the service remains excellent, the rooms are well-maintained, and the breakfast is great value.

We stayed for two nights with our child, and overall, it was a great experience. Our butler, Xigua (Watermelon), was incredibly responsive. When we reported a strange noise from the bed upon arrival, they quickly arranged a room change. The service was attentive and efficient. We chose a pool room, which was lovely; being able to step right out to swim gave us a real vacation vibe. The hotel's family-friendly amenities are excellent. Our child thoroughly enjoyed the daily kids' bubble party, and the complimentary sand toys made trips to the beach with our little one very convenient. The only minor downside was the crowded breakfast area, with queues forming during peak hours. The beautifully landscaped pool area and wide range of family activities make this a highly cost-effective hotel for families with kids in Haitang Bay. I definitely recommend it for those traveling with children.

First, the pros: The hotel is very close to the sea; you can walk out from the ground floor and be on the beach in a few dozen meters. Since it's at the very end, the beach is quite clean. The rooms are also clean, and the housekeeping staff are all very friendly. There's a pharmacy and a small convenience store right in the hotel lobby, which is quite convenient for buying medicine and other necessities. The concierge service was also excellent, actively helping with luggage upon arrival and departure. There's even a ** (food delivery) locker at the lobby entrance, which makes ordering takeout very convenient. Now, the cons: The front desk service was terrible. The room they initially assigned us could only be used for showering while standing in the bathtub. Since one of my companions had difficulty with their leg, I asked for a different room. The front desk staff immediately told me the hotel was fully booked and there were no other rooms available. I had no choice but to contact Ctrip, and they quickly arranged a room change for us. When checking out, I requested a late check-out because my child needed an afternoon nap. Again, the front desk told me the hotel was fully booked and we could only stay until 12:30 PM. However, before calling, I had already checked the booking page, and our room type was still available for sale that day, so it wasn't fully booked. Oh well, we checked out on time. Breakfast: The variety was extremely limited, and most of the options seemed more suitable for Russians. I stayed for three days, and as a woman with a small appetite, I never felt full. In the evening, there's also a self-service BBQ on the ground floor for 98 yuan per person. I wouldn't recommend making a special trip to Bohou Village Night Market; it's just a short road, a few dozen meters long, entirely filled with BBQ stalls. If you plan to book this hotel, I suggest getting a full sea-view room directly. The full sea-view rooms seem to have been renovated, and the facilities look newer. Also, a word of advice: do not book through **. I saw others who booked through **, and when issues arose, the hotel and ** just passed the buck, leaving the customer to suffer. This trip was long with many uncertainties, and I deeply experienced Ctrip's problem-solving capabilities. They truly are the king of the tourism industry; kudos to Ctrip! 👍

We had a dedicated 24-hour butler, Zheng Delin, who was incredibly responsive to all our needs. For our anniversary, he even arranged a complimentary room setup, which was a lovely touch and added to the special occasion. The resort boasts a secluded private bay, with hardly any outside visitors. The sunsets over the ocean in the evening were romantic and therapeutic, and the happy hour at the beach bar created a fantastic atmosphere. Every room is equipped with Banyan Tree's signature aromatherapy toiletries, and upon check-in, we received a special welcome gift and fresh fruit. The floating afternoon tea experience was exceptional. The resort's buggies are available for pick-up and drop-off at any time, ensuring a smooth and uncrowded experience. It's truly a luxurious choice for couples on their honeymoon or anyone looking for a relaxing escape, far from the hustle and bustle of crowds.

The Hilton Haikou boasts an excellent location with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The hotel environment is quiet and comfortable. The room facilities are well-maintained and functional. The staff were very responsive, proactively adding me on WeChat to handle all service requests during my stay. Breakfast offered fresh ingredients and a wide variety of choices. Overall, it's great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip.
