There's also an outlet mall next door for shopping and dining. The facilities are relatively new and have all the necessary amenities. Most of the staff are dedicated and helpful, though a very small number had slightly poor attitudes, which I can understand if they were on a night shift. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff, who were very warm, hospitable, and went out of their way to help guests, even providing a charging cable to a guest next door, which wasn't even part of her job. There was a faint lingering smell of smoke in the room when I entered, but that's not the hotel's fault; it's due to a previous guest violating the no-smoking policy.

There were a few side profiles by the sea at sunset that were so gentle and elegant – my mom adored the raw photos. The editing wasn't excessive; it retained the skin's texture while significantly brightening her complexion. My mom was exceptionally pleased this time, saying, ”These are the best photos I've taken in years,” and they received a lot of compliments when she posted them on social media. I honestly recommend that if you're bringing your parents to InterContinental Haikou, you absolutely must try Wild Deer Photography to beautifully document those warm moments during your trip. We had a comfortable stay and an even happier photoshoot – full marks!

This is a really comfortable hotel. Every time I visit Haikou, I make sure to stay here for a night. The main reason is their amazing 830-meter deep hot spring directly in the rooms – a soak there just melts away all the fatigue. The rooms are spacious and bright. Plus, the hotel is very close to the Qilou Old Street, just a short taxi ride (minimum fare). There's even an airport shuttle nearby. It's truly great.
