I am very happy with the cleanliness and the service of the hotel. Started with the promptness of Peggy, she helped prepared the room. Though there was no baby bathtub, they provided bathtub cover for extra cleanliness. We used that and bathed baby in the basin. All good. Suggested by Peggy. It was nerve racking to have children rides, claw machines and a play room when you are dealing with three older kids, but Tom was very helpful. The hotel shared some coins with the kids and Tom even helped catch the soft toys at the claw machines. Finally Joy was very helpful in the checked in and checked out process. She and her team helped us with our delivery as we needed a China number. We enjoyed the stay thoroughly. Not deserving of a star drop, but we didn’t realised our eldest was so tall, she needed to get a full adult breakfast ticket. We can only get discounted breakfast tickets the day before. So ended paying more for our eldest breakfast. A little inflexible, but I didn’t let that affect the trip. Thank you Crowne Plaza, overall we enjoyed the stay!

Here again, staying one night before heading to Hong Kong 🇭🇰 Facilities: The swimming pool and gym are still excellent, five-star standard. Cleanliness: Clean. Environment: Since I booked multiple rooms, I got an upgrade to a mountain view room, which was a bit small. Due to an issue with the room's facilities, they moved me to another room, which was larger. There's a picture of the mountain view room for reference. Service: As consistently good as ever. Thanks for the complimentary upgrade.

As a 5-star hotel chain, Shangri-La consistently delivers, and this Futian, Shenzhen location certainly lives up to its expected high standards. The room type I stayed in was perfect. It had a separate walk-in closet, and the entrance foyer was cleverly designed so the door didn't open directly onto the bed. The bathroom was completely separated into wet and dry areas, featuring both a shower and a bathtub. My only minor gripe was the toilet placement, which felt a bit too tucked away in a corner. Throughout the entire hotel, there was a distinctive yet subtle fragrance. The eight elevators did an excellent job of minimizing wait times, a common issue in high-rise buildings. The buffet breakfast restaurant on the first floor offered a wide variety of choices. Even when it was crowded, staff were efficient at seating guests in suitable spots, and used plates were promptly cleared away after each trip to the buffet. The service level was exceptionally high. Overall, it was a very good experience.

I was in Shenzhen for business and arrived at the front desk quite late. Ms. Molly at the front desk was still incredibly welcoming and even offered to help with my luggage. I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade and unexpectedly unlocked a terrace suite, though it felt a bit wasted with just me staying there. The room was huge, well-laid out, and newly renovated. Room service was also super prompt and efficient. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the staff were all very nice. Ms. Dannie at the front desk was equally enthusiastic during checkout. Every single staff member provided excellent service; the service experience was perfect. The location is superb, with a mall and exhibition center downstairs, and free parking. I will definitely stay at this hotel again next time.

Stayed at the IHG Crowne Plaza Suites East Gate again. The front desk staff, from the well-trained reception managers to the newly onboarded team members, were all incredibly warm and communicative, confirming all necessary details. My room was even upgraded to an open-plan suite, which significantly enhanced my stay—it was really excellent. The breakfast offers a good variety, catering to different tastes, and I imagine international guests would enjoy trying the Chinese dishes. If only the service staff had proactively offered tea or coffee again at that moment, it would have been absolutely perfect.

Very good experience staying for 3 nights in this hotel. Even a bit dated, but give a feel of the old shangri-la we used to know....very convenient too as the front of the hotel has a pedestrian underground tunnel access to the big Luohu food alley. Level 5 is the pool garden and gym facilities. Also A short 10mins walk to Kindsley Plaza.

The environment here is a reflection of how subpar Shenzhen's city planning is! There's construction happening all around. I asked the front desk for a quiet room, and they assured me it wouldn't be noisy. To my surprise, it truly was quiet – a miracle! The room came with a charging cable, a UK-style power outlet, a fridge, and the TV was clear and easy on the eyes, with a working remote. Even though the window was sealed, there were no strange odors in the room or hallway, thanks to scheduled air purification. The lobby takes up almost an entire floor and has a grand, historic feel to it. The nearby convenience store was also well-stocked and useful. Overall, this place is at least a full step above the glorious hotel diagonally across the street. I still have to say, Shenzhen's city planning is truly awful 👎

Huge thanks to the VIP service department for their excellent care! They specifically arranged for our two rooms to be close together, which we really appreciated. Special shout-out to Gary! Aside from the hotel being a bit older, everything else was great. The location is super convenient, very close to the border crossing, shopping malls, and the train station. The hotel's restaurants are a big highlight, especially the buffet, with 8 different dining options. The facilities are well-maintained and don't show their 16 years of age. Today, the hotel just put up its Christmas floral decorations, which really added to the festive atmosphere. The surrounding scenery is also lovely; we enjoyed the Hong Kong mountain views during the day and the city skyline at night. We were very satisfied and would definitely choose to stay here again if we have the chance. ❤️❤️❤️

First of all, a big thank you to Trip.com Concierge! Always available 24/7 for Trip.com members! I placed an order at 5:55 PM that day and used Trip.com Concierge to request a ”high floor, (subject to room availability) room upgrade.” Arrived at the hotel at 8:00 PM... There was no doorman, security, or bellhop from the hotel staff... The only person at the front desk was a guy wearing black-rimmed glasses! When checking in, I asked if he had seen the Trip.com notes... He said he hadn't but directly upgraded me to a suite (1638). I'd like to express my gratitude for that! Since there was no bellhop, we had no choice but to drag our luggage directly to the room... The door stopper for the room door (see picture 2) was broken, and the hallway leading to the room was completely dark when the door was opened (see picture 1) (this was taken after closing the door). (There's no light in the hallway from the closed door to the middle of the room.) Fumbling in the dark, I found the slot for the power card and inserted the room's own power card. I was still carrying my luggage, and the door wasn't held by the door stopper... My companion, who was following behind with luggage, was hit by the door! It hurt a lot! So I contacted the hotel staff through Trip.com Concierge to report the issue... We waited in the room for over an hour! Around 9:30 PM, Ms. Liu, the hotel's night shift manager, came to the room and told us that there was an emergency light in the hallway near the room that we could use! However, the entrance to the hallway was indeed very dark (I wonder why the hotel designed it that way?). Manager Liu immediately offered to move us to a twin room on the 17th floor or an executive king room on the 24th floor... We asked if we could pay extra (make up the difference) to upgrade to an executive suite? (The hotel's mini-program was down that night, so we couldn't see the hotel prices. Manager Liu said we could refer to the prices on Trip.com and that they could offer some discount, but she would need to ask her supervisor for approval.) Manager Liu advised against upgrading to an executive suite that night! We accepted Manager Liu's suggestion! And we were touched by Manager Liu's sincerity! After all, it's rare for a hotel's on-duty manager to consider the guests' needs! Ms. Liu, the hotel's night shift manager, is diligent and responsible! She conscientiously informed us that all deluxe suites were sold out that night and that the executive suites had some leakage due to the typhoon! We did see towels placed on the windowsill of room 2438 at the time! Manager Liu also consulted with her colleagues in engineering! Manager Liu showed us a total of three rooms! We said we were fine returning to 1638 (the retro-style room was also quite unique... it was a suite after all). Manager Liu warmly invited us to stay in the king room on the executive floor on the 24th floor! During our discussions and room viewings, we also got a general idea of the hotel's layout (below the 16th floor is not renovated – 80s/90s five-star hotel luxury style, once glorious – above the 17th floor is newly renovated, with a brighter and livelier style). Manager Liu was also very thoughtful and had the front desk remake the room cards and send them up! Manager Liu also informed us that the hotel doesn't offer room service after 11:00 PM and personally came to the room to deliver two bottles of water! We once again felt Manager Liu's sincerity!! Ms. Liu, the night shift manager, is from Northeast China and is very warmhearted! Manager Liu represented the hotel in resolving the issue, and we could feel the hotel's warmth! We chose to stay! Manager Liu also informed us that we could extend our stay in the current room! Here, I would like to thank Ms. Liu, the hotel's night shift manager, and the hotel's night shift? Or perhaps the day shift? The guy at the front desk wearing black-rimmed glasses! It's not scary to have problems... what's scary is not having an attitude... Once the problem is solved, Trip.com guests will still give your hotel a 5.0 rating!

This guesthouse stay was absolutely amazing! From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by its exquisite design. The interior decor is simple yet stylish, with every corner thoughtfully arranged and decorative items that show a real artistic touch. The outdoor courtyard is also fantastic, with white archways, lush greenery, and a sparkling pool. When the lights come on at night, the ambiance is incredible, making you feel like you're in a romantic resort. The comfort level was beyond words; the bedding in the room was incredibly soft and felt great against the skin – lying on it was like being wrapped in a cloud, and I slept soundly until I woke up naturally. The amenities were also complete, convenient to use, and felt high-quality. The bar in the common area had a really chic design; sitting on a high stool with a drink was incredibly relaxing. And the scenery was simply stunning! The large window in the room was like a 'picture frame.' During the day, you could see green trees, distant mountains, and water under blue skies and white clouds, offering a wide-open view that instantly brightened my mood. In the evening, the sunset glow spilled in, painting the sky a warm yellow – it was so beautiful I couldn't tear my eyes away. Any photo taken looked like a postcard. The hygiene was also very reassuring; the furniture and bathroom in the room were spotless, without a speck of dust, and the bedding and towels smelled fresh. This guesthouse is nestled in a tranquil mountain forest, yet it's very conveniently located, with easy access to the subway station. The surrounding greenery is exceptional, and the air is incredibly fresh. Just sitting quietly on the balcony, you can feel your whole body relax. The hosts were incredibly attentive and kind to us, offering a warm and personal service unlike the more rigid experience you might find in a traditional hotel. We felt a genuine sense of hospitality. We also received a complimentary Chinese breakfast upon check-in, which was more than enough for one person. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the balcony was huge. Overlooking the mountains and the sea from such a place is simply idyllic – the blend of mountains and water truly creates a breathtaking landscape. I highly recommend everyone to come and stay here for a relaxing night when they have some free time; it's just so comfortable. There's also a swimming pool in the garden, and you can even enjoy free hot springs at night. The value for money is outstanding, especially for just a few hundred yuan. We were given fruit upon arrival to help soothe travel fatigue, and even received a souvenir when we checked out, which was a very thoughtful touch.

This was my first time staying in Hilton and I highly recommend it.The customer service was out of this world, bed super comfortable and the rooms did not have that funny smoke smell.I will definitely book it again.I also love the design of the bathroom.Worth every penny. It was my birthday so the stuff prepared a cute birthday cake for me🥹🥹🥹how thoughtful.

We recently stayed at the Intercontinental Shenzhen with our family and were very pleased! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very polite. The kid loved the pool and the views from the window. The breakfast buffet exceeded all our expectations! A vast selection of European and Asian dishes, fresh pastries, and great coffee. Every family member found something to their taste, which is very important to us. Thank you for the hospitality! We highly recommend it for a trip to Shenzhen with family.

The MIXC Shenzhen and KK100 Shenzhen|4.96km from downtown
The hotel's location is excellent, right next to a large mall, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Plus, there's a subway station nearby for easy access around the city. The hotel facilities are also top-notch, with all stone surfaces being marble, giving it a very luxurious feel. The amenities provided are great, and the shower pressure is fantastic, making for a very comfortable experience. The views, in particular, are stunning! As the tallest hotel in Shenzhen, you get a panoramic view of the entire city, which is absolutely mesmerizing. The scenery is different day and night, offering endless beauty. The service is exceptional; everyone from the front desk to the restaurant staff and housekeepers is friendly, enthusiastic, and always ready to help. When I asked for directions on the first floor, they even personally escorted me out and pointed the way, making sure I wouldn't get lost. My three-day stay in Shenzhen at The St. Regis was truly unforgettable and enjoyable. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time. Thank you, St. Regis, and goodbye for now!

Stayed for two nights, here's my review! First, the pros: 1. The location is absolutely unbeatable! The hotel has direct access to Yitian Holiday Plaza, and you're right at the mall and subway downstairs. It's a 5-minute walk to Window of the World/Happy Valley, which saves so much energy when you're taking kids on rides. Plus, you can watch the fireworks display from your room's balcony at night – my kids were screaming with excitement! 2. The service deserves a big thumbs-up! 3. Little perks: They restock 6 glass bottles of mineral water in the room daily. The turndown service leaves little bear cookies that are quite tasty, and breakfast goes until 11 AM, which is great for late sleepers! Now for a couple of complaints: 1. The facilities are definitely showing their age… The carpet edges are a bit frayed, and the bathtub drains a bit slowly, but the bedding is truly comfortable! Westin’s signature 'Heavenly Bed' lives up to its name – I was asleep in seconds. 2. Soundproofing is so-so. We stayed on the Window of the World side, and the park announcements during the day plus traffic noise at night were a bit loud. Light sleepers should request a room in the annex facing the mall. 3. Breakfast during peak hours means a scramble for seats! It gets super crowded after 9 AM, and the sausages were still half-frozen… I recommend going before 8:30 AM or just heading downstairs to the mall for dim sum – more options and cheaper too! Summary: It might be old, but the location and service are fantastic! Especially for families with kids visiting the amusement parks, for just over 1000 yuan, being able to go back to the hotel and relax whenever you want – what more could you ask for? I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

I had a wonderful stay at Insio Hotel (Shenzhen Shekou Maritime World). The location is excellent — just a short walk to Sea World Metro Station and Shekou Pier, making it very convenient to get around. The hotel is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. My room was comfortable and well-equipped, with quality bedding, good amenities, and a healthy air system that made sleeping very restful. Service was another highlight — the staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient, with nice touches like smooth check-in and helpful assistance throughout my stay. Overall, Insio Hotel is a great choice in Shekou, offering comfort, convenience, and good value. I would gladly stay here again. Philemon Ackon

Science and Technology Park Shenzhen|13.43km from downtown
Overall, it is a nice hotel. It is good they provide flip flops for the pool. However, we took them off before going into the pool. Around noon, the lifeguard asked everyone to get out of the water (I guess it was their lunchtime?). The lifeguard was near the edge waiting for us and clearly saw that my flip flops were missing and it was likely that other guest took mine. The floor tiles were dangerous hot from the sun and he clearly heard me in distress. Yet, he did nothing to help! I guess his lunch time is more important than the guests' well-being! Swimming cap is compulsory. They charge USD5!!!

Negative Feedback: 1. The room had a strong musty smell. They brought an air purifier and sprayed air freshener throughout the room, but it barely made a difference. I initially thought it was because the AC wasn't on, but turning it on didn't help. I informed the front desk at 9:30 PM on the night of check-in, and they came up to try and resolve it. I also mentioned it again at check-out. 2. The bathtub in the room was dirty, so I didn't dare use it for a bath. I informed the front desk and showed them pictures at check-out. (See image 1). 3. There was an issue with the carpet in the room; parts of it were sunken. I noticed it just before check-out, with a circular indentation near the chair leg. I forgot to mention it to the front desk when checking out. (See image 2). Positive Feedback: The breakfast was varied, the view was excellent, the service was warm and attentive, and the details were decent. (See images 3-4).

The apartment rooms are spacious and come with a washer-dryer combo. The front desk service was incredibly attentive, even upgrading us to a room with a balcony. The room was spotlessly clean, I'd give it five stars! The view from the window is great, and the surrounding transportation is convenient; it's close to the border crossing, just a 10-minute taxi ride away. There are plenty of food options downstairs. The mini-fridge had complimentary drinks, and the pillows were soft and comfortable. Disposable toiletries were provided in the room. You need to swipe your card to go upstairs, which made me feel very secure. The free Wi-Fi was fast and stable. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money.

Excellent Stay as Always! Skytel is always my first choice in Futian, Shenzhen — especially for its convenient location near Huaqiangbei Electronics Market. I’ve been staying here regularly for the past two years, and every visit feels just as comfortable and pleasant as the first. From the welcoming reception to the clean and well-maintained rooms, everything about this hotel makes the stay enjoyable and satisfying. A special thanks to Ms. Anna at the reception — her warm hospitality and continuous support with local information and arrangements always make my stay smoother and more delightful. Truly appreciate her professionalism and kindness. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers!
