Staying at this five-star hotel was absolutely worth it! I stayed for 3 days and every day was comfortable. I chose a high floor, and when I pulled back the curtains, the view was incredible. It was so pleasant to soak up the sun during the day. When checking out, I mentioned needing an invoice, and the staff member, Lily, was incredibly efficient. She got it ready in no time, was very gentle, and answered all my questions. I didn't encounter any problems during my stay; the experience was incredibly smooth. I'd definitely want to stay here again next time I'm in the area!

The Holiday Inn Express has a great location, making it convenient to get everywhere and saving a lot of commute time. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was so comfortable that my sleep quality improved significantly. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of fresh dishes and attentive service. I especially want to commend Shirley, Jane, and Lydia for their warm, meticulous, and friendly service throughout our stay. They made us feel genuinely valued and respected, contributing to an exceptional experience. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance!

Thanks Loyalty Manager Victoria for her warm greetings and gifts to my girls, also the staff we met were very polite. The location and facilities are two key advantages they have, and you may see the view of the Hong Kong back yard. The dinner buffet and breakfast buffet could satisfy most people, but my suggestion is providing dunkel or stout, because I like them. I hope the management could renovation the rooms or spend more effort to keep the rooms being with good condition.

As the the five star scent wafts on to the street, we have returned to our home away from home for the 17th Annual Captivating Charity Ball. Futian Shangri-La has fabulous amenities, floral centerpieces. My favorites are on the fourth floor and include the rooftop garden. Beautiful accommodation with minor challenges: ◦ High deposit and no points if you don’t book on Shangri-La Circle. ◦ Twin beds pushed together are not at all comfortable in the middle. ◦ Bedside outlet is near the floor instead of the nightstand. ◦ Carpet leaves something to be desired. Food, too. ◦ Bring your swim cap, they do not sell them. Shangri La Hotel & Residences offers underground parking. Excellent in room service. Lots to do see and enjoy within walking distance. QR Code is not accurate, just call it in. A wonderful staff and stay.

This hotel absolutely deserves a five-star rating! I can't rave enough about its amazing location and thoughtful service! 📍 The location is simply fantastic – the subway entrance is just 50 meters away, there's a huge shopping mall right next door, and downstairs you'll find convenience stores and popular bubble tea shops. For someone as lazy as me, it's incredibly convenient! 💁 And the service? Impeccable! The front desk staff were beautiful and welcoming, and as soon as the concierge saw us with luggage, they immediately rushed over to help. Every day when we returned, we were greeted with warm smiles from the staff, and our room was spotless. They even arranged my cosmetics neatly. The attention to detail really made an impression – this stay was perfect! I've already recommended it to all my girlfriends! I'm definitely booking this place again next time. The young lady at the front desk who checked me in around 3 PM was very professional and exceptionally polite. The hotel room was spacious, and the bed was huge. It's an older hotel, which is perfectly understandable, and for just an overnight stay, I think it was comfortable and totally fine. However, I really need to mention the hotel breakfast, which I believe needs significant improvement. Firstly, there's very little variety. Secondly, it seemed unhygienic or perhaps the food wasn't fresh... My husband and I both got diarrhea after eating breakfast and returning to our room! My stomach started hurting in the elevator on the way back to the room after breakfast, and I almost didn't make it to the toilet in time. Before eating, we were both perfectly fine with no discomfort, as we always use the restroom after waking up in the morning. I distinctly remember everything I ate for breakfast, and I didn't even eat much! I had a small bowl of dace fish, peanut, and pork bone congee, two small pieces of boiled corn, a tea egg, two small cups of hot milk, a small cup of hot blackberry tea, a little vegetable salad, and four small multigrain buns (I gave one to my husband). Unexpectedly, I had diarrhea all day yesterday, and I'm still feeling weak at work today.

I was very satisfied with my stay. My friend was coming over, and we planned to go to Hong Kong together, so I booked the Metropark Hotel, which is right above Shaibu subway station. It's really convenient to just go downstairs and take the subway directly to Luohu Port for border crossing. My friend even commented that they'd never stayed in a hotel with such a spacious room before. The room's amenities were complete, even including a dehumidifier. The hotel staff's service attitude was also excellent. Winnie, who assisted us, had a great attitude and even gave us a small panda gift bag. I'll definitely choose Metropark Hotel again if I have friends visiting in the future.

First of all, a big thank you to Trip.com Concierge! Always available 24/7 for Trip.com members! I placed an order at 5:55 PM that day and used Trip.com Concierge to request a ”high floor, (subject to room availability) room upgrade.” Arrived at the hotel at 8:00 PM... There was no doorman, security, or bellhop from the hotel staff... The only person at the front desk was a guy wearing black-rimmed glasses! When checking in, I asked if he had seen the Trip.com notes... He said he hadn't but directly upgraded me to a suite (1638). I'd like to express my gratitude for that! Since there was no bellhop, we had no choice but to drag our luggage directly to the room... The door stopper for the room door (see picture 2) was broken, and the hallway leading to the room was completely dark when the door was opened (see picture 1) (this was taken after closing the door). (There's no light in the hallway from the closed door to the middle of the room.) Fumbling in the dark, I found the slot for the power card and inserted the room's own power card. I was still carrying my luggage, and the door wasn't held by the door stopper... My companion, who was following behind with luggage, was hit by the door! It hurt a lot! So I contacted the hotel staff through Trip.com Concierge to report the issue... We waited in the room for over an hour! Around 9:30 PM, Ms. Liu, the hotel's night shift manager, came to the room and told us that there was an emergency light in the hallway near the room that we could use! However, the entrance to the hallway was indeed very dark (I wonder why the hotel designed it that way?). Manager Liu immediately offered to move us to a twin room on the 17th floor or an executive king room on the 24th floor... We asked if we could pay extra (make up the difference) to upgrade to an executive suite? (The hotel's mini-program was down that night, so we couldn't see the hotel prices. Manager Liu said we could refer to the prices on Trip.com and that they could offer some discount, but she would need to ask her supervisor for approval.) Manager Liu advised against upgrading to an executive suite that night! We accepted Manager Liu's suggestion! And we were touched by Manager Liu's sincerity! After all, it's rare for a hotel's on-duty manager to consider the guests' needs! Ms. Liu, the hotel's night shift manager, is diligent and responsible! She conscientiously informed us that all deluxe suites were sold out that night and that the executive suites had some leakage due to the typhoon! We did see towels placed on the windowsill of room 2438 at the time! Manager Liu also consulted with her colleagues in engineering! Manager Liu showed us a total of three rooms! We said we were fine returning to 1638 (the retro-style room was also quite unique... it was a suite after all). Manager Liu warmly invited us to stay in the king room on the executive floor on the 24th floor! During our discussions and room viewings, we also got a general idea of the hotel's layout (below the 16th floor is not renovated – 80s/90s five-star hotel luxury style, once glorious – above the 17th floor is newly renovated, with a brighter and livelier style). Manager Liu was also very thoughtful and had the front desk remake the room cards and send them up! Manager Liu also informed us that the hotel doesn't offer room service after 11:00 PM and personally came to the room to deliver two bottles of water! We once again felt Manager Liu's sincerity!! Ms. Liu, the night shift manager, is from Northeast China and is very warmhearted! Manager Liu represented the hotel in resolving the issue, and we could feel the hotel's warmth! We chose to stay! Manager Liu also informed us that we could extend our stay in the current room! Here, I would like to thank Ms. Liu, the hotel's night shift manager, and the hotel's night shift? Or perhaps the day shift? The guy at the front desk wearing black-rimmed glasses! It's not scary to have problems... what's scary is not having an attitude... Once the problem is solved, Trip.com guests will still give your hotel a 5.0 rating!

Shenzhen Kempinski Hotel - Excellent Service from Julia My recent stay at the Kempinski Hotel Shenzhen left a deep impression, all thanks to Julia's thoughtful service. When I checked in, she proactively provided information about local transportation. Upon learning I was there for a business trip, she kindly informed me about the hotel's meeting room facilities and express printing services – truly attentive to every detail. During my stay, I casually mentioned some discomfort in my neck. To my surprise, when I returned to my room that evening, I found an extra latex pillow. It turned out Julia had specially arranged for it to be sent. Later, when I needed a late check-out, she quickly helped communicate and resolve it. Her service throughout was efficient and genuinely heartwarming. The hotel itself boasts a superb location and comfortable bedding, but Julia's service truly enhanced the feeling of being at home. The location is superb, easily accessible via Metro Lines 1 and 5. Yifangcheng shopping mall is just across the street, which is very close and convenient. The hotel boasts a serene environment, occupying its own entire complex. There's a lake with ducks, which children particularly enjoyed. There's also a charming coffee book bar. The rooms are clean and tidy, perfect for family stays. Guests can also do laundry, and there's a balcony with hangers for drying clothes. The only minor drawback is the lack of a TV in the room. Sometimes, when you don't feel like going out, there's genuinely nothing to do. Given the room rate isn't particularly low, it would be much better if breakfast were included. This is especially true since the breakfast variety is quite limited, and at 38 yuan per person, it feels a bit pricey. Furthermore, our room faced the street, and while the balcony's glass door offered excellent sound insulation from outside, the soundproofing between rooms was quite poor. On our first night, we could clearly hear a child in the adjacent room still yelling loudly at 10 PM!

Within 100 meters, there's a beachfront restaurant perfect for photos, and a charming little shop with a wide array of wellness products. About 800 meters further, you'll find many seafood restaurants. We snagged a great group deal for over 100 RMB, which was enough for two people and included fresh seafood! This guesthouse stay was absolutely amazing! From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by its exquisite design. The interior decor is simple yet stylish, with every corner thoughtfully arranged and decorative items that show a real artistic touch. The outdoor courtyard is also fantastic, with white archways, lush greenery, and a sparkling pool. When the lights come on at night, the ambiance is incredible, making you feel like you're in a romantic resort. The comfort level was beyond words; the bedding in the room was incredibly soft and felt great against the skin – lying on it was like being wrapped in a cloud, and I slept soundly until I woke up naturally. The amenities were also complete, convenient to use, and felt high-quality. The bar in the common area had a really chic design; sitting on a high stool with a drink was incredibly relaxing. And the scenery was simply stunning! The large window in the room was like a 'picture frame.' During the day, you could see green trees, distant mountains, and water under blue skies and white clouds, offering a wide-open view that instantly brightened my mood. In the evening, the sunset glow spilled in, painting the sky a warm yellow – it was so beautiful I couldn't tear my eyes away. Any photo taken looked like a postcard. The hygiene was also very reassuring; the furniture and bathroom in the room were spotless, without a speck of dust, and the bedding and towels smelled fresh. You could really feel the guesthouse's strict attention to hygiene, making for a very comfortable and worry-free stay.

On my first day visiting Shenzhen from Foshan, I kicked off my city exploration by continuing to expand my 'Shenzhen Coffee Map'... For hotel enthusiasts, the JW Marriott brand under the Marriott group holds a significant place, and for coffee lovers, Peet's Coffee is a definite favorite. This lobby lounge is quite unique among luxury hotels, as it's a collaboration with Peet's, proudly displaying their iconic sign. It's located on one side of the lobby on the first floor of the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen, less than 300 meters from Exit J1 of Chegongmiao Metro Station. The overall design style is right up my alley: dark wood, marble, and grey fabric accents create a sophisticated and grand atmosphere. The bathroom was decent, with a bathtub in the shower area, though it overlooked a construction site. The hotel's guest services team, especially the loyal customer manager, was professional and attentive! My entire stay was fantastic! Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport and Fuyong Shenzhen|26.69km from downtown
Facilities: The hotel facilities are very complete. Cleanliness: It was very clean. Environment: The environment was surprisingly pleasant. I even saw some nice scenery from the hotel's rooftop garden. It's quite a unique view for such a busy place as Shenzhen Airport. Service: The hotel service was excellent. For passengers flying, they even offer the convenient service of going through first-class security. The express check-out point is right on the way to the airport terminal, so you don't have to go back to the front desk, which is very thoughtful. Among airport hotels, this Hyatt at Shenzhen Bao'an Airport is truly well-designed. The first-class security and fast check-out are both very useful. Upon entering the room, there's a very special design: the hotel, knowing it's close to the airport runway, was clearly concerned about disturbing guests' sleep. Inside the outer window of the guest room, there's another floor-to-ceiling door. I tried it myself, and opening and closing this window/door makes a huge difference in noise perception. Being able to sleep peacefully without noise at an airport hotel felt pretty good.

## Facilities: Overall, the hotel feels quite dated, and the facilities are relatively old-fashioned. There's no robot service for things like food delivery. Since the hotel has a pool, it would be great if they could provide a drying rack on the balcony. I called the service center to ask if they could provide one, and the front desk told me to wait for a callback, but I never heard back. ## Hygiene: The hygiene was good. Although it's an older hotel, it was clean. ## Environment: The environment was excellent. I originally booked a mountain-view room, but the hotel upgraded me to a sea-view room for free, which I really appreciate. ## Service: The staff's service attitude was excellent. ## 200 RMB SPA Voucher: This wasn't useful for me. ## Shekou Ferry Terminal Shuttle Bus (requires 2-hour advance booking): This wasn't applicable to me.

Overseas Chinese Town Shenzhen|7.6km from downtown
We recently stayed at the InterContinental Shenzhen with our family—our 3-year-old daughter, 12-year-old son, my wife, and me—and we absolutely loved it! The hotel is wonderfully child-friendly, with activities that kept our kids delighted throughout. The pirate-themed swimming pool was a standout; our children didn’t want to leave! Our daughter especially adored the train that circles the swimming play area, adding a magical touch to their fun. The gym area is excellent, offering a great space for adults to unwind and stay active. The bar and restaurant exceeded our expectations, and breakfast was superb, featuring an impressive selection of both Chinese and Western dishes to suit every taste. A big thank you to @Dafne 达芙妮 for making our entire stay so special — her thoughtful service truly enhanced our experience. We have been returning to this hotel since our son was 2 years old, and thanks to Dafne, this visit was extra memorable. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

The hotel is located about 500 meters from the subway entrance, making transportation super convenient. There are also many dining and shopping options nearby, which is simply a perfect choice for tourists. The service is impeccable. I'd especially like to commend Xiao Ying at the front desk for her warm service. Every time I encountered a staff member, they would greet me with a smile, which felt very welcoming. I must specifically praise their mattress and pillows; they are just right in firmness, ensuring a dreamless sleep until morning. This is the greatest blessing for frequent business travelers.

Comfortable stay at this hotel with a very spacious area for families to stay overnight for at least 2 nights. On the street next to the hotel, local food stores are available to fill up your stomach. Only need to take a cab if you want to get over to the nearest shopping mall. In addition, a big swimming pool for kids to have a swim fun. 🏊♀️

Service: Beyond expectations, truly thoughtful and attentive. From Johnny, our butler, who handled the initial communication and arrangements, to Jessie, Vicky, and Louis at the front desk who upgraded our room and kindly extended our check-out due to an unexpected work schedule, and Ivy and her colleagues at the lounge who provided attentive care, along with other staff whose names I didn't catch – everyone was professional and considerate. Facilities: We stayed in a sea-view suite this time, and the view was absolutely unbeatable. Jessie at check-in mentioned we could see the sunrise from the room, so I made sure to get up early the next day, and indeed, the sunrise over the sea was stunning. Furthermore, the dining, as always with the Hyatt group, was excellent. Although the fitness center is outsourced, the equipment is top-notch, and there's a 24-hour exclusive area for hotel guests. Overall, I was extremely satisfied.

Huanggang Port and Futian Port Shenzhen|3.51km from downtown
The hotel has a great location, very close to Futian Port, making customs clearance super convenient. Futian Mangrove Ecological Park is also nearby, which is perfect for a post-breakfast stroll. The front desk staff, especially one young lady, was incredibly helpful and patient; she gave very detailed directions to the ecological park. The breakfast in the restaurant was also excellent. The room itself was spacious with a good view, offering a distant glimpse of Hong Kong and Shenzhen Bay's inner sea. The bedding was clean and tidy, and all toiletries were provided. Plus, having a washer-dryer combo in the room made it excellent value for money, especially when traveling with elderly family members and children.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The metro station and bus stop are very close, making it easy to reach the main attractions. The rooms are clean, and the breakfast is varied. I'd like to especially mention the very responsive front desk. Anna and Xiaohe helped with everything from ordering a taxi, food delivery, and navigation around the city, to everything related to our stay. It's only thanks to such wonderful staff that I give this hotel a high rating.
