Two days before check-in, I received a call from the hotel. The gentle voice on the other end asked if I had any special requests. I casually mentioned that it was my child's birthday that day, and it would be great if we could get a room with a nice view so he could enjoy the nightscape. I never expected such a small wish to be taken so seriously. The moment I pushed open the room door, I gasped in amazement – outside the floor-to-ceiling window stretched a dazzling city skyline, the night scene more picturesque than I could have imagined. Even more heartwarming was the birthday decoration on the bed. At that moment, I was truly touched by this unexpected gesture of kindness. We actually arrived at 10:30 AM that day, initially just planning to store our luggage. To my surprise, the front desk staff, with a friendly smile (I regret not remembering her name!), immediately said, ”Your room is ready, you can check in now.” When I asked for recommendations of kid-friendly places nearby, she not only suggested Talent Park but also proactively looked up directions for me, being both thoughtful and helpful. In the evening, we went to Talent Park as she recommended. It was free, and there was a stunning light show reflected on the lake. My child clapped his hands with excitement the entire time. Back in the room, we found more delightful surprises – children's toothbrushes, small slippers, and even exclusive snacks. The room was spacious and bright, with a separate walk-in closet and a comfortable dressing area; every detail was just right. My child especially loved the large bathtub and happily played for over an hour. However, my five-year-old, who can't read, accidentally used the bubble bath bomb next to it (which had a prominent price tag). Later, I explained the situation to a staff member named Rita. She smiled and said, ”Consider this a little birthday surprise for your child; don't worry about it.” With that simple remark, she waived the fee. From start to finish, she never made us feel embarrassed, only moved by her understanding. From check-in to check-out, every detail at Wyndham Grand Hotel spoke volumes: they truly care about their guests' experience. It's not just standard service, but genuine, heartfelt care. This city becomes even more captivating because of such experiences. If Shenzhen is a city you'd want to revisit, then Wyndham Grand Hotel accounts for at least half the reason – it transforms travel from mere accommodation into a memory wrapped in warmth.

The Holiday Inn Express has a great location, making it convenient to get everywhere and saving a lot of commute time. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was so comfortable that my sleep quality improved significantly. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of fresh dishes and attentive service. I especially want to commend Shirley, Jane, and Lydia for their warm, meticulous, and friendly service throughout our stay. They made us feel genuinely valued and respected, contributing to an exceptional experience. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance!

As a 5-star hotel chain, Shangri-La consistently delivers, and this Futian, Shenzhen location certainly lives up to its expected high standards. The room type I stayed in was perfect. It had a separate walk-in closet, and the entrance foyer was cleverly designed so the door didn't open directly onto the bed. The bathroom was completely separated into wet and dry areas, featuring both a shower and a bathtub. My only minor gripe was the toilet placement, which felt a bit too tucked away in a corner. Throughout the entire hotel, there was a distinctive yet subtle fragrance. The eight elevators did an excellent job of minimizing wait times, a common issue in high-rise buildings. The buffet breakfast restaurant on the first floor offered a wide variety of choices. Even when it was crowded, staff were efficient at seating guests in suitable spots, and used plates were promptly cleared away after each trip to the buffet. The service level was exceptionally high. Overall, it was a very good experience.

This hotel absolutely deserves a five-star rating! I can't rave enough about its amazing location and thoughtful service! 📍 The location is simply fantastic – the subway entrance is just 50 meters away, there's a huge shopping mall right next door, and downstairs you'll find convenience stores and popular bubble tea shops. For someone as lazy as me, it's incredibly convenient! 💁 And the service? Impeccable! The front desk staff were beautiful and welcoming, and as soon as the concierge saw us with luggage, they immediately rushed over to help. Every day when we returned, we were greeted with warm smiles from the staff, and our room was spotless. They even arranged my cosmetics neatly. The attention to detail really made an impression – this stay was perfect! I've already recommended it to all my girlfriends! I'm definitely booking this place again next time. The young lady at the front desk who checked me in around 3 PM was very professional and exceptionally polite. The hotel room was spacious, and the bed was huge. It's an older hotel, which is perfectly understandable, and for just an overnight stay, I think it was comfortable and totally fine. However, I really need to mention the hotel breakfast, which I believe needs significant improvement. Firstly, there's very little variety. Secondly, it seemed unhygienic or perhaps the food wasn't fresh... My husband and I both got diarrhea after eating breakfast and returning to our room! My stomach started hurting in the elevator on the way back to the room after breakfast, and I almost didn't make it to the toilet in time. Before eating, we were both perfectly fine with no discomfort, as we always use the restroom after waking up in the morning. I distinctly remember everything I ate for breakfast, and I didn't even eat much! I had a small bowl of dace fish, peanut, and pork bone congee, two small pieces of boiled corn, a tea egg, two small cups of hot milk, a small cup of hot blackberry tea, a little vegetable salad, and four small multigrain buns (I gave one to my husband). Unexpectedly, I had diarrhea all day yesterday, and I'm still feeling weak at work today.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. First off, the subway station is conveniently located on B2, making transportation a breeze. The room was spacious, and cleanliness was not an issue at all. It was well-equipped with various appliances, including a hairdryer, dehumidifier, and a mini-fridge. The hotel staff provided excellent service, always ready to assist. JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen This time I stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen, which has always had an excellent reputation, and the views were absolutely spectacular! The welcome fruit platter came with the JW logo and special rosemary cookies, which was a nice touch – definitely not the usual 'traffic light' assortment. The hairdryer wasn't a Dyson, but the amenities were the standard JW AA products, and the drinking water was custom-bottled Bama water. The executive lounge offerings were quite impressive for a Marriott property, and having fresh-squeezed juice was a definite plus. The room itself was very spacious, with a Chinese luxury aesthetic. The living room area was ample, and having a guest bathroom made it feel like a proper suite. The room's view was good, despite the building not being particularly tall. The public areas were well-designed. The changing rooms had both hot and cold plunge pools, which was fantastic, especially since many hotels no longer offer this. The hotel's guest services team was superb! From check-in to check-out, they provided attentive and thoughtful service, truly going above and beyond to make us feel valued and cared for. They were incredibly considerate and thorough! Breakfast was extensive, with local Cantonese specialties. The coffee at the lobby bar was made with Peet's coffee beans, which is absolutely, unequivocally worth trying out!

We had an amazing stay at the Langham. The view was incredible, check-in was very smooth and we could check-in earlier than the time. Mike was extremely helpful too! He was so kind with helping us with 4 heavy suitcases, bringing it to the car and loading it on for us. Thank you so much Mike. The gym is quite small but it does have a variety of equipment. Both indoor and outdoor pools are lovely. One thing I will say though…there seems to be a muggy smell in the rooms. It could’ve been the weather, I’m not sure, but it was obvious the second we stepped in our rooms. Please can you also not make the TV turn on automatically?

First of all, a big thank you to Trip.com Concierge! Always available 24/7 for Trip.com members! I placed an order at 5:55 PM that day and used Trip.com Concierge to request a ”high floor, (subject to room availability) room upgrade.” Arrived at the hotel at 8:00 PM... There was no doorman, security, or bellhop from the hotel staff... The only person at the front desk was a guy wearing black-rimmed glasses! When checking in, I asked if he had seen the Trip.com notes... He said he hadn't but directly upgraded me to a suite (1638). I'd like to express my gratitude for that! Since there was no bellhop, we had no choice but to drag our luggage directly to the room... The door stopper for the room door (see picture 2) was broken, and the hallway leading to the room was completely dark when the door was opened (see picture 1) (this was taken after closing the door). (There's no light in the hallway from the closed door to the middle of the room.) Fumbling in the dark, I found the slot for the power card and inserted the room's own power card. I was still carrying my luggage, and the door wasn't held by the door stopper... My companion, who was following behind with luggage, was hit by the door! It hurt a lot! So I contacted the hotel staff through Trip.com Concierge to report the issue... We waited in the room for over an hour! Around 9:30 PM, Ms. Liu, the hotel's night shift manager, came to the room and told us that there was an emergency light in the hallway near the room that we could use! However, the entrance to the hallway was indeed very dark (I wonder why the hotel designed it that way?). Manager Liu immediately offered to move us to a twin room on the 17th floor or an executive king room on the 24th floor... We asked if we could pay extra (make up the difference) to upgrade to an executive suite? (The hotel's mini-program was down that night, so we couldn't see the hotel prices. Manager Liu said we could refer to the prices on Trip.com and that they could offer some discount, but she would need to ask her supervisor for approval.) Manager Liu advised against upgrading to an executive suite that night! We accepted Manager Liu's suggestion! And we were touched by Manager Liu's sincerity! After all, it's rare for a hotel's on-duty manager to consider the guests' needs! Ms. Liu, the hotel's night shift manager, is diligent and responsible! She conscientiously informed us that all deluxe suites were sold out that night and that the executive suites had some leakage due to the typhoon! We did see towels placed on the windowsill of room 2438 at the time! Manager Liu also consulted with her colleagues in engineering! Manager Liu showed us a total of three rooms! We said we were fine returning to 1638 (the retro-style room was also quite unique... it was a suite after all). Manager Liu warmly invited us to stay in the king room on the executive floor on the 24th floor! During our discussions and room viewings, we also got a general idea of the hotel's layout (below the 16th floor is not renovated – 80s/90s five-star hotel luxury style, once glorious – above the 17th floor is newly renovated, with a brighter and livelier style). Manager Liu was also very thoughtful and had the front desk remake the room cards and send them up! Manager Liu also informed us that the hotel doesn't offer room service after 11:00 PM and personally came to the room to deliver two bottles of water! We once again felt Manager Liu's sincerity!! Ms. Liu, the night shift manager, is from Northeast China and is very warmhearted! Manager Liu represented the hotel in resolving the issue, and we could feel the hotel's warmth! We chose to stay! Manager Liu also informed us that we could extend our stay in the current room! Here, I would like to thank Ms. Liu, the hotel's night shift manager, and the hotel's night shift? Or perhaps the day shift? The guy at the front desk wearing black-rimmed glasses! It's not scary to have problems... what's scary is not having an attitude... Once the problem is solved, Trip.com guests will still give your hotel a 5.0 rating!

Very comfortable! The three-bedroom unit was quite spacious, equipped with a dining table, a large refrigerator, a washing machine, and a dryer, making daily life very convenient. Individual air conditioning units were installed in the living area and every room, and the cooling was powerful. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, and items were slow to be replenished. On weekends, if you went late, there was usually no place to sit and hardly any food left. Whatever you do, *avoid* the swimming pool! They call it an 'ecological pool,' but it wasn't just filled with fish; there was fish waste everywhere, and it absolutely reeked of fish poop.

This guesthouse stay was absolutely amazing! From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by its exquisite design. The interior decor is simple yet stylish, with every corner thoughtfully arranged and decorative items that show a real artistic touch. The outdoor courtyard is also fantastic, with white archways, lush greenery, and a sparkling pool. When the lights come on at night, the ambiance is incredible, making you feel like you're in a romantic resort. The comfort level was beyond words; the bedding in the room was incredibly soft and felt great against the skin – lying on it was like being wrapped in a cloud, and I slept soundly until I woke up naturally. The amenities were also complete, convenient to use, and felt high-quality. The bar in the common area had a really chic design; sitting on a high stool with a drink was incredibly relaxing. And the scenery was simply stunning! The large window in the room was like a 'picture frame.' During the day, you could see green trees, distant mountains, and water under blue skies and white clouds, offering a wide-open view that instantly brightened my mood. In the evening, the sunset glow spilled in, painting the sky a warm yellow – it was so beautiful I couldn't tear my eyes away. Any photo taken looked like a postcard. The hygiene was also very reassuring; the furniture and bathroom in the room were spotless, without a speck of dust, and the bedding and towels smelled fresh. You could really feel the guesthouse's strict attention to hygiene, making for a very comfortable and worry-free stay.

The drain in the room smelled terrible, which was a big downside. The location is convenient. The KFC breakfast was okay, but they wouldn't even give an extra breakfast portion for my baby. I won't be staying here again!

This hotel boasts a prime location in the heart of Qianghua North, offering excellent transport links for both business and leisure travelers. It's just a two-minute walk to Metro Lines 2 and 11, providing easy and time-saving access to the airport, train station, and major commercial districts. I especially want to commend employee Xiao Yu (ID 4280). When she noticed our laundry hadn't dried, she thoughtfully added extra hangers and moved our clothes to a sunny spot. We were pleasantly surprised upon returning to our room. Their service isn't about forced flattery, but rather a perfect blend of anticipation and fulfillment that genuinely touches you in unexpected ways. True luxury isn't just about the facilities; it's about the thoughtful details hidden within—from the personalized surprises in the guest room, everything exemplifies what it means to be 'meticulous'.

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, I didn't feel like anything was missing, and many weren't even used. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of hooks in the shower, so I had to place my bath towel outside. Environment: I thought the view from the higher floors was quite good. However, the bathroom's exhaust fan system was a bit noisy at times, which could be improved. Service: It was decent, nothing extraordinary. They cleaned the room daily during my extended stay. Hygiene: The cleanliness was good; I didn't see any unclean foreign objects. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

The chinese breakfast buffet lack of good varieties of food to choose from. Weren’t it not the maintenance and extension of the road, the walkway time to hotel can be reduced to 10’ instead of 15’. Unlike Nina Hotel located in Tsuen Wan which allows you register and enroll. Unsure if all reception desk use English, it will be permit thy doing

Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport and Fuyong Shenzhen|26.69km from downtown
Facilities: The hotel facilities are very complete. Cleanliness: It was very clean. Environment: The environment was surprisingly pleasant. I even saw some nice scenery from the hotel's rooftop garden. It's quite a unique view for such a busy place as Shenzhen Airport. Service: The hotel service was excellent. For passengers flying, they even offer the convenient service of going through first-class security. The express check-out point is right on the way to the airport terminal, so you don't have to go back to the front desk, which is very thoughtful. Among airport hotels, this Hyatt at Shenzhen Bao'an Airport is truly well-designed. The first-class security and fast check-out are both very useful. Upon entering the room, there's a very special design: the hotel, knowing it's close to the airport runway, was clearly concerned about disturbing guests' sleep. Inside the outer window of the guest room, there's another floor-to-ceiling door. I tried it myself, and opening and closing this window/door makes a huge difference in noise perception. Being able to sleep peacefully without noise at an airport hotel felt pretty good.

## Facilities: Overall, the hotel feels quite dated, and the facilities are relatively old-fashioned. There's no robot service for things like food delivery. Since the hotel has a pool, it would be great if they could provide a drying rack on the balcony. I called the service center to ask if they could provide one, and the front desk told me to wait for a callback, but I never heard back. ## Hygiene: The hygiene was good. Although it's an older hotel, it was clean. ## Environment: The environment was excellent. I originally booked a mountain-view room, but the hotel upgraded me to a sea-view room for free, which I really appreciate. ## Service: The staff's service attitude was excellent. ## 200 RMB SPA Voucher: This wasn't useful for me. ## Shekou Ferry Terminal Shuttle Bus (requires 2-hour advance booking): This wasn't applicable to me.

We recently stayed at the InterContinental Shenzhen with our family—our 3-year-old daughter, 12-year-old son, my wife, and me—and we absolutely loved it! The hotel is wonderfully child-friendly, with activities that kept our kids delighted throughout. The pirate-themed swimming pool was a standout; our children didn’t want to leave! Our daughter especially adored the train that circles the swimming play area, adding a magical touch to their fun. The gym area is excellent, offering a great space for adults to unwind and stay active. The bar and restaurant exceeded our expectations, and breakfast was superb, featuring an impressive selection of both Chinese and Western dishes to suit every taste. A big thank you to @Dafne 达芙妮 for making our entire stay so special — her thoughtful service truly enhanced our experience. We have been returning to this hotel since our son was 2 years old, and thanks to Dafne, this visit was extra memorable. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Insio Hotel (Shenzhen Shekou Maritime World). The location is excellent — just a short walk to Sea World Metro Station and Shekou Pier, making it very convenient to get around. The hotel is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. My room was comfortable and well-equipped, with quality bedding, good amenities, and a healthy air system that made sleeping very restful. Service was another highlight — the staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient, with nice touches like smooth check-in and helpful assistance throughout my stay. Overall, Insio Hotel is a great choice in Shekou, offering comfort, convenience, and good value. I would gladly stay here again. Philemon Ackon

Overall, it is a nice hotel. It is good they provide flip flops for the pool. However, we took them off before going into the pool. Around noon, the lifeguard asked everyone to get out of the water (I guess it was their lunchtime?). The lifeguard was near the edge waiting for us and clearly saw that my flip flops were missing and it was likely that other guest took mine. The floor tiles were dangerous hot from the sun and he clearly heard me in distress. Yet, he did nothing to help! I guess his lunch time is more important than the guests' well-being! Swimming cap is compulsory. They charge USD5!!!

The Hyatt in Yantian is always my top choice, and this time they even upgraded me to a sea-view suite, offering stunning panoramic ocean views! The hotel service remains excellent as always, the bedding is comfortable, the gym and pool are definitely 5-star standard, and the breakfast is plentiful. The Executive Lounge's drinks and food are also very delicious. Overall, a fantastic stay! However, I do have a small suggestion: it would be even more perfect if the mini-bar items were complimentary, haha!

Huanggang Port and Futian Port Shenzhen|3.51km from downtown
The hotel has a great location, very close to Futian Port, making customs clearance super convenient. Futian Mangrove Ecological Park is also nearby, which is perfect for a post-breakfast stroll. The front desk staff, especially one young lady, was incredibly helpful and patient; she gave very detailed directions to the ecological park. The breakfast in the restaurant was also excellent. The room itself was spacious with a good view, offering a distant glimpse of Hong Kong and Shenzhen Bay's inner sea. The bedding was clean and tidy, and all toiletries were provided. Plus, having a washer-dryer combo in the room made it excellent value for money, especially when traveling with elderly family members and children.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The metro station and bus stop are very close, making it easy to reach the main attractions. The rooms are clean, and the breakfast is varied. I'd like to especially mention the very responsive front desk. Anna and Xiaohe helped with everything from ordering a taxi, food delivery, and navigation around the city, to everything related to our stay. It's only thanks to such wonderful staff that I give this hotel a high rating.
