Shenzhen Dongmen Pedestrian Street RANZ Lanzi Hotel

Our stay at RANZ was a very pleasant one. The original room given to us smells of smoke so I requested for a change. The receptionist ( very polite bespectacled young man) immediately walked me up to another room and let me inspect and made changes for us. Really appreciate it. The room is spacious, although it's written as Queen size bed but actually it is king sized. The mattress, pillows and blanket are very comfortable. The bedding is clean. The air conditioning is individually controlled, it's cold and the room cools down fast too. The toilet is also clean and basic amenities are given like toothbrush, cotton pads & ear buds, shower cap, shampoo and conditioner. The water pressure is strong and hot water temperature is good too. The bath towels are all bleached and individually packed, However, the lighting in the toilet is abit dim, which made it a little difficult to do your make up. The room doesn't smell of smoke at all even when you just switch on the air conditioning. The room is clean and has a little bay window. It also has day and blackout curtains. I stayed on the fifth floor, facing the mall, it's not noisy but of course you can still hear the honking of cars and ebikes which we are fine with it. The location is excellent! It's very near to restaurants, malls, pedestrian street, all within walking distance. There's also a sundry store just outside the hotel where you can pick up some water or drinks before going back to the hotel. Taxis are also readily available,just outside the hotel. Although it's a small hotel, the service is excellent. We are glad that we booked this hotel, making our stay in Shenzhen an even better one. I will still want to stay here and also recommend my friends to stay at the RANZ if we're in Shenzhen again. Highly recommended!

There are no hot water for bathing when we get back to hotel at night! The staff said it’s because too cold today and many people are using the water heater so that don’t have hot water now.. he suggest to bath one hour later but it’s already mid night. It’s really rediculous

Is a good & convenience location but the sound insulation in this room not so good, I can hear the road side noise.

Xiao Lai's service was outstanding! They took great care of my booking and luggage! The hotel was very nice.

The reception service was great and our room was upgraded by the staff upon arrival (賴小姐). The location was very convenient, with 5-min walk the railway station and nearby shopping centres. The cp value is high. However, the wifi connection was very weak and barely usable. The room and corridor were a little stuffy.

This hotel is in a perfect location with Dongmen Pedestrian Street just around the corner and mrt station within walking distance. There are lots of shops and malls nearby and the streets are so lively at night especially weekends. The problem we encountered was the duration of the heated water was a bit too short. The water for shower sometimes hot and sometimes cold. Other than that this hotel is highly recommended. Special thanks to the receptionist 小芬 who was very friendly and willingly helped me a lot with my requests.

It was a wonderful experience. Very helpful receptionists. Very conveniece location. We will choose this hotel again.

Near to the metro and walking distance from dongmen street! Lots of food and shopping!
