4-Star Hotels in Braga District, Portugal

Perfect service. 24-hour reception. Located a little outside Guimaraes, but within walking distance of the historic center. Free parking opposite the entrance. Huge room. All the amenities. The only thing missing is a bit of soundproofing, because you can hear the cars on the first floor. Otherwise, everything was fine.

This hotel has a fantastic central location, which is its biggest selling point. However, there are a few things to know before booking. the parking: while they offer underground parking for €5 a day, it’s not on-site. It’s quite a walk from the hotel, and there is no lift in the garage, only stairs. If you are traveling with heavy luggage, this is a real challenge, as you’ll have to carry your bags up and down those stairs.For a 4-star property, I was also surprised by the lack of concierge service and some dated room features. Our room was very dark due to poor lighting, and the safe wasn’t working. The door also requires an old-fashioned key to lock and unlock, which felt a bit inconvenient. On a positive note, we chose to sit outside for breakfast, and the outdoor setting was very pleasant and made for a nice start to the day.

I have to go to the water to clean up the room every day. It's not gonna make up for coffee balls. The cleaned rag will stay in the room The ground is still hair. Very disappointed with this stay

Haciendo excepción del colchón ( un poco incómodo, en mi opinion) el resto fue de 10, desde la atención en recepción, haciendo el check- in, hasta los camareros , el buffet en el desayuno, insonorizacion, limpieza, olor del hotel, parking. Se nota que es hotel de verano , ahora estaba vacío, pero unha experiencia muuy buena.

It is a nice hotel right in front of S. Bento’s church. It has a couple of restaurants nearby but we always had dinner at the hotel. Great food, both breakfast and dinner, and each plate had a very generous amount of food, good enough to share with another person. Pillows are too soft, beds are good, rooms are also nice but are not sound proof. You can access the Spa for an hour as long as you book it in advance and it costs you 10€ per person.

The location of this property was great with cafes and restaurants a few minutes away. It was fully equipped with everything that you would need apart from a washing machine. Check-In was a bit confusing with no one at the desk available to help. Access to the main building required a key code access which I was unaware off. Having finally gained access, thanks to another traveller giving me the WhatsApp number to contact staff, it was an easy process after that. Overall it was a great stay.

I liked the location and the new hotel very clean . The breakfast included is very rich. I received a couple bed offered four free drinks in the mini bar the check out was 13:00 but they let us stay until later. I didn't take my pet and then I found that they accept animals because I saw many Animal customers. Very good advice very 😉 The spa and the gym were included. I would love to come back. And the city of Braga linnnnda 😍

Very comfortable hotel in a central location. Very good breakfast with friendly service. I will be staying there again when in Braga.

Definitely top on the list if I comes back to visit Braga again; a lovely town w a good mix of old and new. The post graduate student manning the Uni Minha Loja has a superb personality, we love his recommendations.

It's worth it just for the location. The TV that only works when it does, the glass door that always gets stuck when accessing the rooms and a very modest small bathroom are not worth the experience, so suddenly I remember other options in Braga that are cheaper and with better quality.
