Radisson Blu Caledonien Hotel, Kristiansand

Our stay in the hotel was a good start on my best friend wedding day. The beds was amazing to sleep in. The breakfast is so delicious and the area gives you the feeling that you don't want the day to start. You just want to hang out and drink coffee. The staff is very service minded, and the staff in the reception when we checked in was very helpful and friendly. The view from our room was amazing, the room was very clean and comfortable.

The front desk service attitude is very good, the breakfast is very good, with a wide variety, and it is very close to the Under, within walking distance.

On arrival i was a little concerned by the size and appearance of the lobby. No need for concern! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a junior suite, which was very reasonably priced for a downtown metro hotel. The bathroom was bright and exceptional, with a great walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a rock! The location is probably the best in Kristiansand. Easy walk to everything. This is not a resort hotel. The Thon Parken is a very solid choice for a base from which to explore the area.

Norway has no features. It is expensive to drive a high-speed bucket with a small yacht. In the elevator, I met a Russian buddy. I asked Russia about the price. The buddy said that it is not expensive. Hahaha This time, the Nordic countries, the German and Dutch basic hotels are all five or six hundred and five five stars. In the Norwegian village, Ben 1000 went.

This hotel lies beautiful at the beach, and all though you often must have a really great summer before the water is hot enough for my tast, sitting at the terrace enjoying a good cold drink and eating your meal outside is really a treat! Good service, great breakfast buffet and overall a good restaurant to enjoy other meals in as well. Even though we went down one floor to our room, it is still on the ground level so that you have a ok view into the garden behind the hotel. This place also offer family size rooms that fits four and five and even more people, if you chose a holiday flat in the bulding away from the main hotel building. Great access to park your car, and not so far from the southmost tip of Norway, Lindesnes. We have already booked again for the summer of 2019 and this time with our adult son and his girlfriend in a family flat.

The hotel is called the southest in Norway. It is only one year old and lives the former port area. All is modern and functionally furnished, the rooms have at least a side view of the water, even my single room had a small terrace. You sleep very well. The only manko: there are little depots for the clothes, you live from the bag. Breakfast in the restaurant with view of the water and the city is extremely diverse and rich, the quality of typical Scandinavian ingredients very good. The dinner is also of very good quality in Norway. With the pedestrian bridge you can be in 5 minutes in the city, where there are other culinary alternatives and numerous shopping opportunities. If not just the PS-stark youth of the city meets on the parking lot, it is very quiet. The surroundings are available for excursions e.g. to the peninsula Lista or to the Lindesnes lighthouse. After Kristian sand it is 40 km.
