At 3 AM, there was a knock on my room door. I thought I was dreaming, but when I woke up, the knocking was still going on. Looking through the peephole, I saw two men, one Black and one White. They didn't look like hotel staff or anything like that. I didn't open the door, and they left. I was about to go back to sleep when there was another knock, and I even heard the doorknob being turned. I opened the door, and it was the same two men again. I asked them what they wanted, and they said a few things I couldn't understand before leaving again. I immediately reported this to Trip.com. The hotel replied that the guest was looking for something. What does the guest looking for something have to do with waking someone up in the middle of the night and disturbing their privacy? Why is it said so casually? Since the incident, I haven't received a single apology or positive response from the hotel.

I always use this place for exhibitions; it's very convenient, close to the venue, and the facilities are quite good. The hygiene is acceptable, but I don't think the bathtub is really necessary.

I am torn with this one so I'll list both the pros and the cons, starting with the bad parts to get that out of the way: 1) The pool was closed due to a part missing, and we only found out at check-in. I work in property management, so I know how hard it can be to keep a property fully operational 365 days per year. I still have a hard time understanding how a resort can find itself with a missing pool part in the middle of the season! And not give a heads up to guests before they arrive! 2) For that inconvenience, all we were offered were two (2) $10 vouchers to the spa... which was already closed for the day and was not going to reopen for 4 days! What kind of hotel calls itself a resort if the spa is closed 3 days per week?! And even if that's how you normally operate, wouldn't you think to change the schedule when the pool breaks down in the middle of the summer and you decide that spa vouchers are the way to compensate guests for the inconvenience?? For the good parts: 1) Parking was free. 2) Drinks were cheap at the ******. 3) Room was clean (we had a bad view but not much can be done about that I guess). Two (2) final comments I'll call ”neutral”: 1) the mattress was a bit too firm and the pillows too thin for me. But I'm not counting that as a bad thing since that's more of a personal preference. 2) I'm not a huge gambler but I thought the sportsbook was small. I understand it's not meant to be Vegas but again, if you're going to advertise yourself as a ****** resort, I just expected bigger. This part wasn't an inconvenience on my trip but I might as well mention it.

This hotel is very strange, I booked twice, the bill price, the actual deduction and the same as Ctrip sent to me, two days ago the deduction is inconsistent, Ctrip attitude is not bad for me to handle, now this bill is not The same, the scheduled time is 127.33 US dollars, check out the bill is 139.23 US dollars (this is added state tax, I can understand), but my bank card actual deduction is 174.23 US dollars, the difference is too big. The last day of 2018 actually made me worry about this matter. This should be given a bad review.

The overall environment and service are good. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to South Bend University Stadium, which is very convenient. There are also many places to eat nearby, with different tastes to choose from. There is a traditional American bar, where you can order beer and experience different lifestyles and culture.

To begin with the front desk clerks were great and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was closed & it was June 1st, so that was a bummer. They advertise a gourmet breakfast, to my surprise --- it wasn't even close, no cream for the coffee, one of the juice drinks were out , no yogurt, then to top it all off ---- The waffle machine was disgusting!!! Dirty, & when I asked about the lady making a waffle ahead of me about her waffle sticking to the waffle maker,the host said ” well, it's because all of the non stick coating on the waffle maker is worn off” & the hotel was supposed to be getting a new one!!! When I wiped it with a napkin - black stuff appeared on it... So needless to say NO Waffle for me Today!! The waffle maker shouldn't have even been in use! Wow. And the temperature of the sausage Links were cold to the touch!! Very disappointed, Louann Archer/Steven Vaughn

By far the staff at this hotel was so much more helpful and welcoming than any hotel I have ever previously stayed in. Good night staff was so friendly and willing to help answer questions. Good morning staff and breakfast stuff we're constantly checking on customers and making sure everyone had what they needed and were taken care of. Our room on the third floor was huge, spacious, included two giant Riverview windows, and was cleaner than any hotel I've stayed in previously. Lastly, I have to mention that the breakfast buffet was more delicious and larger than any breakfast buffet of other hotels. We stayed for one night, myself, my boyfriend, and my 6-year-old son. Not a single complaint and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the downtown Evansville area!!

Check i was easy. The room was good except the shower floor was really dirty. When I called down to the front desk the lady said she would be up as soon as she was finished checking in the guests she was checking in. In the meantime my husband found out the soap in the shower was empty, so he went downstairs to get another bottle. As he came back the front desk lady was right behind him. She handed me the cleaning supplies and said she wasn't house keeping. I took the supplies and scrubbed the shower floor. When I returned the supplies she was on her phone at the desk. I do know the hotel was sold our, but that was ridiculous. The next morning the new lady apologized a number of times. On a good note, the breakfast was amazing and the bed was great.

Beautiful place! Impressively clean and the staff is awesome. Restaurants are really good with lots of choices for everyone. Excellent adventure for sure!

Glisteningly new and clean. The bright and modern scheme match the ladies at the front desk! I wish more places could model this approach. My brother and I were on the tail end of a touch business trip. This brightened our journey. We will return. I subtracted 1 star because of the loud families on either side of me - past 11. Little kids on the warpath.
