Shichahai (Qianhai + Houhai + Xihai), located at No. 49 Di'anmen West Street, Xicheng District, Beijing, is divided into three water areas: Qianhai, Houhai, and Xihai. The lakeside scenic area is free all day and requires no reservation. Three main areas: 1) Qianhai (Lively main scenic area, the top choice for watching the sunset) Yandai Xiejie: ​​A 232-meter-long century-old street with creative shops and snacks, leading directly to Yinding Bridge. Yinding Bridge: One of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Yanjing," Yinding Guanshan (Viewing the Mountains from Yinding Bridge), a good spot for sunset photography at Orange Sea in the evening, offering distant views of the Western Hills. After a day trip to the Badaling Great Wall, the drop-off point happened to be the Bird's Nest, so I took a good look around. The scenery was pretty good, and the design was also quite nice. However, the location was a bit out of the way, and there was no way to access other nearby attractions.

Very photogenic, but the hotels nearby are too expensive. However, I found a great value hotel, the Beijing Yunyi Zizai Hotel, which is also very close to Shichahai Station via Metro Line 8. It's super convenient, and the hotel has a unique design and excellent service. Highly recommended!

We visited with our family. The free guided tours were great, and there was no commercial atmosphere. It was a good choice for both children and the elderly to watch and listen. The exhibits included displays on major national weaponry, the Road to Rejuvenation, and smaller weapons.

During my trip to Beijing, I visited the Sanlitun district, one of the most vibrant and modern areas of the city. This area is perfect for strolling, shopping, visiting restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. I especially enjoyed the atmosphere in the evening, when the streets fill with people, the bright lights come on, and the area literally comes alive. There are a wide variety of establishments to suit every taste, from cozy cafes to popular nightclubs. I visited several clubs and had a great time. The music, atmosphere, and atmosphere made the evening unforgettable. I was also pleasantly surprised by Sanlitun's modern architecture, cleanliness, and ease of walking. The area is safe, well-organized, and popular with both locals and tourists from all over the world. I recommend visiting after sunset, when you can fully experience the energy of the place. If you want to see modern Beijing, experience the city's nightlife, and simply have a good time, Sanlitun is definitely worth adding to your itinerary.
