The impressions were excellent, the views were superb! A must-see. My recommendation would probably be to choose one route, either the western or eastern. If you're not fit, you'll lack the energy and likely won't have time for the other route after the western route. Another unpleasant surprise is the 140 yuan cable car ticket; walking to the wall will be difficult. The lunch buffet left me with mixed feelings, as only tea is free; everything else costs extra. You can also grab a bite at cafes and restaurants, and there's also a Burger King.

We contacted the tour guide a day in advance, and he suggested we leave early. We agreed to depart at 7:00 AM, and he was waiting at the hotel around 6:00 AM. Along the way, he chatted about the attractions, snacks, and surrounding environment, and proactively reminded us of the cable car location. Luckily, we left early, and there weren't many people on the Great Wall. However, the crowds were enormous on the way down, and we perfectly avoided both peak times. We took the western route and climbed to Tower 21, but didn't go any further because it was too sunny. The three of us brought four bottles of water up. On the Great Wall, a regular bottle of mineral water costs 15 yuan, a drink costs 25 yuan, and an ice pop costs 10 yuan for one and 15 yuan for two.

What a wonderful and unforgettable trip! Our guide, Jucy, was outstanding and helped us make the most of the trip. From excellent communication to providing us with a wealth of information about the Great Wall and Beijing's history, and of course, taking great care of us. The tour itself was fantastic, and I highly recommend the cable car ride – it was so much fun! The lunch at the restaurant was also truly delicious. There are two options for climbing the Great Wall, and I suggest trying both to fully appreciate the magnificent views. The shuttle bus service was also very convenient.

The tour was great. Provided a great deal of knowledge about the palace ,it's grounds, and the surrounds. It was good to have some context and knowledge about some things, that I would certainly have missed or not known just exploring on my own. Our tour guide was great, she was friendly and easy to understand.
