I was cautious booking this tour as it says something about booking 7 days ahead, however, I was completely reassured when I received the email confirmation the next day and the WeChat messages from Mandy confirming the tour. Dan was our guide- he was so knowledgeable, caring and made sure we all had frequent water and shade breaks (it was so hot) 🥵 . We only had to wait about 20mins to get tickets and the security lines were actually pretty quick. I wouldn’t have known half the history if it wasn’t for Dan. He deserves a pay rise! Our group was awesome and friendly too. There isn’t a lot of lunch options, so bring your own snacks and sandwich 🥪 or whatever. Good walking shoes are a must as you spend most of the day walking. Overall it was awesome- thanks Dan!

A huge thank you to Mr. Li from Jingzhuangyuan for his wonderful explanation! He led us on an in-depth tour of the Temple of Heaven, from the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Echo Wall to the Garden Mound, eloquently explaining the wisdom and historical culture of the ancient architecture in a clear, engaging, and accessible way. Even though we encountered heavy rain, Mr. Li's enthusiasm remained undiminished. His meticulous and professional explanations and thoughtful service gave us a completely new understanding of the Temple of Heaven, making it a fantastic cultural journey. Sincere thanks! Thumbs up! Good evening everyone, we really enjoyed everything. The scale is certainly large, with many buildings. It's a shame we can't go inside the Temple, and the weather was disappointing, of course. But we were delighted with our visit. We bought a ticket through Trip right there, near the entrance, and our child (16 years old) got in for free, without even checking our ID. The ticket cost us 800 rubles and some change. A taxi from the hotel (CCTV) was 31 yuan there and 32 yuan back. We were delighted. We're heading to Universal tomorrow.

Loved the ability to stroll around and enjoy the sights at own pace instead of being distracted and rushed by a guide or other travelers. A beautiful park setting! It was overcast and breezy so the boats weren’t allowed out on the lake.
