Things to do in Sanya

The scenery was quite beautiful. We took an electric cart ride around the island. The waves crashing against the rocks were indeed a beautiful sight. We've toured Hainan Island, and this is probably the best view here.

Today's experience was great. Although the weather was quite hot, the activities were all very exciting, especially the "Take It All" activity. Lifeguard Jiang Zhaoyang was very helpful and even offered to get an ice pack when I got injured. Coach Chen, who was snorkeling in the shark pool, was particularly helpful and provided professional snorkeling instruction. Although I only played for two and a half hours, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely come back next time.

The Atlantis Aquarium in Sanya is absolutely stunning! The enormous Lost Chambers aquarium makes you feel like you're in an underwater world, with over 86,000 marine creatures swimming in 13,500 tons of natural seawater. The beluga whale interaction is incredibly therapeutic, the jellyfish area is dreamy and beautiful, and every shot in the underwater tunnel is a masterpiece. It's definitely worth the ticket price for a family trip; you can learn something new and experience the wonders of the ocean. Highly recommended!

This trip to the island perfectly avoided the peak tourist season. The sightseeing bus conveniently took us to the attractions, and the breeze kept the sun from getting too strong. We finished our visit in about 3 hours, taking photos along the way. Also, the pineapples were really delicious and very sweet.

Eight years later, I visited Nanshan Scenic Area again to see the Guanyin statue and Nanshan Temple. The scenic area is located right by the sea and boasts beautiful scenery; it covers a large area, so I recommend taking an electric cart for your visit. There are multiple parking lots with plenty of spaces, and both paid shuttle buses and free public buses go directly to the entrance of the scenic area, making it very convenient.

Fenjiezhou Island is beautiful! Blue skies and azure seas, and you can even go diving! Next time I'll book a diving school in advance to learn to dive; the price is reasonable! Round-trip ferry tickets to Fenjiezhou Island are inexpensive, there are many trips, and it only takes about ten minutes. There are also hotels on the island—seaside bungalows!

We hired a tour guide who led us through the entire tour. The guide was efficient and focused, explaining the scenery, plants, and interesting facts along the way to the children. Our guide, Dai Maorui, was particularly wonderful—gentle and patient—making for a fantastic experience.

A worthwhile day-trip — but do take the tram/electric car as the distance need covering under the hot sun can be challenging indeed.

Luhuitou Scenic Area is free to enter, but the electric cart costs 28 yuan per person. You can then go up to the top of the mountain and walk around on your own, which is quite comfortable. You can see a 360-degree sea view. If you go up in the evening, you can also see the sunset. There are also many restaurants and snacks up there. We had dinner at a sea view restaurant, enjoying the sea breeze and the night view. It was very pleasant.

Bringing the kids to Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone, they were amazed by the magnificent Guanyin statue! The park is huge, definitely take the sightseeing bus. You can buy fish food to feed the koi and turtles. Enjoy a bowl of vegetarian noodles by the sea.
