5* hotel booked to end our trip in style. Bar staff and cleaners were super happy, polite and love to great the guests in the hotel. Reception staff were generally unhelpful. I tried to book activities and excursions, but was initially told to go the hotel next door before being given a random book While trying to sort late check out one receptionist began serving another customer over my head. Late check out was eventually agreed to which was helpful but after being sat face to face in silence for minutes. Facilities are wonderful. Nice private beach, great pool area. Two bars and buffet style restaurant with ala carte option. Locals got charged significantly less for our event dinner. Some would say that's fair, others would disagree, but not being transparent probably suggests it was trying to be hidden. Service wasn't 5*. When we arrived our bedding was ripped and had a huge hole in it. Thankfully this was fixed, but I think atleast 2/3 people came to check before it was resolved.

Check in was quick and got the room quickly, room was a bit smaller but had all amenities needed but mini bar was empty. Had mocktails from their pool bar and they were very nice. Food was not the best, dinner buffet had limited options and had no flavour in any of the dishes. Breakfast buffet was okay compared to dinner. I wanted to check out around 12 and they kindly offered a late check out too. Thank you team. I would recommend this hotel but there I hope their food standards get improved.

The staff made me feel so welcome and nothing was too much - even accommodating my dietary requirements as much as possible. They really helped make my travel easy and comfortable. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, rooms are basic, but clean and it’s ideal for the airport or as place to stay before onward travel :) there’s also a rooftop bar for sunset!

I had a wonderful one-night stay from June 24th to 25th. The hotel offers a fantastic, tranquil escape right in the heart of the city. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a seamless check-in and checkout experience. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and offered lovely views. Whether you are visiting for business or a quick leisure getaway, the beautiful lakeside setting and excellent service make it a top choice. Highly recommended.

I was disappointed with my experience at Radisson Colombo, particularly with the check-in process and the level of service during breakfast. I arrived at the hotel around 3 PM, expecting to check in without any issues. However, the lobby was crowded, and the staff appeared overwhelmed and disorganised. I waited until approximately 3:45 PM before finally asking for an explanation. I was then informed that our room had not been cleaned yet due to staffing issues. We had to leave our bags at the hotel and go out for lunch while waiting for the room to be ready. The following day, the hotel offered us complimentary breakfast, which I appreciated as a gesture of goodwill. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience raised another concern. While I was having my meal, a staff member began sweeping the floor around the dining area. I approached a senior staff member and requested that the sweeping be stopped while guests were eating. The staff member stopped and apologised, which I appreciated. However, approximately an hour later, another staff member came and started sweeping the floor again. This was disappointing, especially after I had already raised the issue. I believe the hotel needs to improve its staff training, communication, and service coordination. The check-in delay and repeated disturbance during breakfast made the stay less comfortable than expected. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards providing a more organised and pleasant experience for future guests.

The sunset from the rooftop was absolutely stunning. The breakfast spread was incredibly diverse, almost overwhelming with choices. If you're on a higher floor, I imagine the room views would be great. For those looking for a hotel stay, I'd recommend opting for the ocean view side, even if it's a bit pricier. The city view is also lovely, with sights like the Lotus Tower. Honestly, having stayed in many five-star hotels, I felt there's room for improvement in their hospitality. For instance, at breakfast, a server spilled juice on my leg while clearing the table next to me. They apologized immediately and said they'd bring napkins. However, several minutes passed, and they unbelievably started setting the adjacent table first and seated new guests. Those guests also seemed confused by the wet floor. I had to ask a different server for napkins before they finally brought them. Regarding cleanliness, the drain in the shower clogged when I took the first shower, and the water wouldn't go down. Housekeeping promptly cleaned it, but I feel this should have been taken care of before check-in. Also, there were some mysterious stains on the towels, which I think should be replaced more regularly. Other than that, the clientele staying at the hotel seemed pleasant, and my stay was comfortable. The only place to plug in Japanese appliances was in the bathroom, so a travel adapter is essential.

I recently stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Colombo, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The room was extremely spacious, honestly one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in within Colombo. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the amenities were excellent. The room included everything you might need—tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, toothbrushes, and more. The bed was very large and comfortable, and the TV, office table was huge as well. All the facilities such as the lights, air conditioning, and fan worked perfectly, so we had no issues at all. Our room was on the 8th floor (top floor) and we had a nice view overlooking the Galle Face Hotel with a small view of the ocean. The location of the hotel is also excellent since it is very close to Galle Face Green and many other attractions in Colombo, which makes it very convenient for travelers. The check-in process was smooth, and they welcomed us with a refreshing welcome drink. One thing to note is that the security procedure is quite strict. When we had guests visiting our room briefly, they had to provide their IDs and go through a security check. It was the first time I experienced this in a hotel, but it is understandable since it helps maintain safety. Although we booked bed and breakfast, we later asked if we could add the dinner buffet, but unfortunately it was already full. However, something very kind happened later that night. My mother wanted chicken congee, so we asked the room service staff if it was available. Even though it was not on the menu at that moment, they were kind enough to prepare and send us a bowl of chicken congee. It was a very thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated their kindness. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a very wide variety of food, and everything we tried was delicious. My family has always liked the buffets at Ramada, and this time was no different. They also had live cooking stations, and the staff there were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, everything about the stay was great. The room, service, location, and food were all excellent. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. It is absolutely worth the price and offers great value for money.

Great views, friendly staff, and the station is just a three-minute walk away.

The service was excellent and breakfast was good. We arrived in the evening and had plans in Negombo early the next morning, so we quickly chose this hotel because of its proximity. The beach, restaurant, and pool were all very clean. Room cleanliness was just okay; I even found used tissues in the wardrobe. Early the next morning, we went to the beach to watch the sunrise, and it was wonderfully uncrowded. The only downside is that the hotel rooms face the street, so there was a lot of traffic noise at night. Light sleepers should definitely take this into consideration. Upon checking out the next day, we discovered that the other side of the hotel, also facing the street, was a cemetery.

The hotel is quite new and has all the necessary facilities. The breakfast is abundant, and the location is excellent. If you're lucky enough to catch a beautiful sunset, it's worth every penny. However, the hotel's construction quality is a bit subpar, and the decor lacks a bit of taste, which is why I didn't take any photos of the room or the lobby.
