I absolutely love this hotel! I first discovered it ten years ago during my initial visit to Cangzhou, and ever since, whenever I pass through, I always choose to stay here. After all these years, the hotel is still so well-maintained, which really shows their high standards. The lobby is grand, bright, and features cultural elements, offering complimentary drinks and snacks to guests. The front desk staff are warm, professional, and patient, and the lobby manager is very friendly, proactively engaging with guests and introducing local attractions. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious, with windows for ventilation and humidifiers. The facilities are meticulously maintained, especially the bathroom and shower, which have grab bars for safety – a thoughtful touch. The toiletries are also high-quality. The breakfast is incredibly diverse and plentiful, with good quality. They deliver drinks, yogurt, and fruit to the room, and phone requests are handled promptly and efficiently. The parking lot is large enough, and the attendants are polite and courteous. The hotel's location is convenient, right off the Beijing-Taiwan Expressway, with beautiful surroundings and plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The attention to detail in their service truly reflects how much they value the customer experience. Highly recommended!

Staying at Chengde Qiwanglou Hotel truly felt like a home away from home. First off, it's not a towering high-rise, which immediately gives it a cozy, homely vibe. Plus, the hotel doesn't cater to a massive number of guests, only about a hundred or so at most, meaning they can offer a more personalized and attentive service, or as I'd put it, 'meticulous care.' This included thoughtful touches like having snacks, candies, and refreshing drinks available at the entrance, and sewing kits and other small emergency items in the hallways of each building. From the moment you step in, everyone you encounter at this hotel actively engages with guests, listening carefully to their suggestions and needs. This level of personalized interaction is something I haven't experienced in hotels in recent years, and it's truly commendable. Guests who've stayed even just one day are greeted by the hotel's cat rubbing against their legs as soon as they walk in – it's incredibly heartwarming! The restaurant staff were all very dedicated, helping guests choose dishes and ensuring nothing went to waste, which was lovely. When they heard we enjoyed millet porridge, they even sold us some to take back to Beijing! One staff member, Zhi, proactively offered to buy us tofu (from Zhang Yu), which was a huge convenience. Mr. Yu Changhong (Xiao Yu) provides exceptional service, treating every guest like family, and truly fosters that 'home away from home' feeling. I do have a small suggestion: it would be great if the hotel could keep two electronic blood pressure monitors and phone charging cables on hand. When guests book a room, especially if they are elderly, it could be noted that a blood pressure monitor can be provided in their room, saving them the hassle of bringing their own. Having charging cables readily available would also alleviate any worries about charging phones.

As foreign travellers, we ran into some difficulties purchasing attraction tickets and bus transfer due to lack of a local phone number. We met David at the concierge and asked if we could get some help to purchase. Without hesitation, he offered to purchase on our behalf and even followed up with the attraction to confirm the arrangement. Thanks to his help, we were able to visit the attraction smoothly the next day without any issues. He made us feel very welcome, and his help left us with a wonderful impression of Handan☺️ Thanks David!

A truly excellent hotel, located right in the city center. **Facilities:** This is a very high-end hotel with brand-new facilities. The thick carpets in the hallways feel wonderfully soft underfoot. **Cleanliness:** The hotel's cleanliness is impeccable. The rooms are spotless, and the hallways, elevators, and even the parking garage are all very clean. **Environment:** The surrounding area is lively, as it's a central location. But the absolute standout is the service. We had gone to the arts center for a performance and it ended quite late. Driving back to Beijing would have been too tiring, so we made a last-minute decision to stay overnight. We arrived at the hotel around midnight after dinner. The staff on the ground floor were still incredibly energetic and professional, polite and attentive without being overly enthusiastic. They were a great help in resolving several issues. They truly deserve special commendation. My only slight reservation is that while the room itself isn't small, the bathroom and shower take up about half the space, making the sleeping area feel a bit cramped.

Choosing this InterContinental hotel for my business trip was definitely the right call. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation. It's right next to a beautiful park, offering great views and a pleasant environment. Bella provided thoughtful and warm service, and the room arrangement was very satisfactory. The breakfast had a rich selection, fresh ingredients, and was nutritionally balanced. It's definitely worth coming back to.

Honestly, it was truly excellent! What made it stand out was its incredible beachfront location – the beach is literally right downstairs. Unlike other hotels where you can't even see the sea from 5-6 minutes away, this one offers a complete ocean view. This is what a true beachfront hotel should be, and the location is simply unbeatable. It's an established four-star hotel, and the service, facilities, and environment were all on point. A special shout-out to the young lady with glasses at the front desk; her service was superb. Even though check-out was at noon, a peak time for check-ins, she didn't rush me at all. She even asked how my stay was, which shows genuinely great service! The only minor drawback is that some of the room furnishings feel a bit dated, which slightly brings down the overall quality of the stay. The towels were disposable, there was only old bar soap instead of liquid hand soap, and the toilet paper was a half-used roll of very low quality. Also, the tables and chairs were a bit dirty. If these small things could be improved, it would be absolutely perfect!

The location is excellent, right next to the Hebei Provincial Museum. It was my child's birthday, and the hotel decorated the room and even gave us a mini cake. We had lunch at the hotel and later went to the pool, which made my child very happy. For breakfast, there were plenty of dim sum options, but it would be great to add a few more stir-fried dishes. Also, the hotel's pastries are excellent; I tried them for both lunch and breakfast. The staff at the pastry counter were very enthusiastic. The service, cleanliness, and bedding were all great. Finally, I suggest adding a shoehorn to the room.

Arrived on the afternoon of Chinese New Year's Day. Both counters were busy during check-in, but Cathy proactively directed us to the third one. Since we were two adults with two young children, it was a bit of a struggle. Cathy thoughtfully gave the kids small horses to comfort them, which was very sweet. For the rest of our stay, everything perfectly matched our booking requests: a bed rail was installed, and child-friendly toiletries and a toilet seat were provided. The housekeeping staff never slacked off, even though the kids made quite a mess. Our room was always spotless when we returned. We'll definitely be back!

I was in Tangshan for a business trip and decided to bring my parents to Hetou Old Street to celebrate my mom's birthday. The last time I stayed here, Iris Yao Jiajing was my DM, and she made my stay so wonderful that I chose InterContinental again for my parents' visit. This time, we encountered a few minor issues with the room facilities, which is understandable given the hotel's age. However, every single problem was promptly and effectively resolved by Manager Yao Jiajing. She also proactively checked the room availability and upgraded my parents' room for free, which was a lovely surprise. When she learned it was my mother's birthday, she thoughtfully arranged a tea break with a cake for us. Throughout our stay, she also checked in to see if we needed anything else. I am incredibly grateful for Manager Yao's professionalism and attentiveness; she has truly left me with a positive impression of this hotel, and her service made our family trip exceptionally smooth.
