This is our third year celebrating Chinese New Year at the Sheraton Guan. Overall, it's pretty good; the room and dining services are excellent. Just a heads-up for anyone visiting in winter: avoid rooms facing south. They get incredibly hot. The hotel's central AC only blows hot air, and with the direct sunlight, the room becomes unbearable for sleeping. To make matters worse, the windows only open a tiny crack – it was truly a struggle!

Staying at Nanshanli Hotel, the comfortable rooms melt away your fatigue, and the Happy Kids Park on the first floor guarantees endless fun for children. With accommodation, dining, and entertainment all in one place, it's perfect for family trips, eliminating the need to rush around. The pace is relaxed yet fulfilling, making it a resort I'd definitely want to visit again! ✨ ✅Hotel: The rooms are spacious, and the environment is clean and tidy, ensuring a very comfortable stay. It's located right in the heart of the town, making it very convenient for getting around and sightseeing. There was a minor hiccup, but the front desk kindly upgraded us to a suite, which we greatly appreciated. ✅Happy Kids Park: The hotel boasts an indoor amusement park on the first floor, with a variety of activities like rock climbing and physical challenges. It's a great option for kids to play freely without worrying about sun exposure. ✅Outside the hotel, opposite McDonald's, there's a children's off-road vehicle rental. The price is relatively affordable, and it's perfect for letting the kids ride for half an hour after dinner in the evening, giving adults a break from parenting. 😂 ✅Taiwoo Town Environment: The European-style town offers stunning scenery. With green mountains, a sea of flowers, cable cars, and outdoor carts, it's perfect for both photography and exploration. The summer temperature is pleasant, offering an escape from the city heat and creating a fantastic atmosphere for kids to enjoy.

I chose this hotel for my business trip. It's located right in the city center of Chengde, with plenty of dining options nearby. I could even walk to the Summer Resort, which was convenient. The hotel itself is quite new, and the room facilities are good, making for a comfortable stay. The only downside was that the water pressure in the shower wasn't very consistent. Overall, it's a hotel with great value for money.

This time I came during the start of the seafood season, but it wasn't peak season yet, so there were far fewer people. The lower floors were cheaper, while the higher-floor sea view rooms were more expensive. Standard rooms were affordable, but those with family-friendly tents or designs cost more. Currently, the first and second canteens are not open, but they will be during peak season. It's less than a ten-minute walk to the beach. Inside the resort, there are individually-owned electric vehicles available for one, two, three, or four people, with different models. The price is a bit high at 69 yuan per hour. However, these are not affiliated with the hotel, so if there are any issues or disputes, the hotel will not intervene. The hotel's front desk and housekeeping staff were very professional; they immediately provided room service even when called late at night. Many thanks!

Traveling solo, I chose The Landy Hotel, and it perfectly matched my aesthetic. The overall design features a simple, natural wood style with no excessive decoration. The room layout felt relaxed and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling window framed the garden view like a painting. The outdoor garden is meticulously maintained, with plants thoughtfully arranged and winding paths that make for a wonderfully quiet stroll, far from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean and tidy, the amenities felt high-quality, and the staff were very friendly. I felt incredibly peaceful staying here all day – it’s a great place to unwind and recharge alone. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Aranya.

The experience at Ximei Wuzhou Hotel was fantastic! The lobby is grand and elegant, and the room is clean and comfortable with soft, sleep-inducing bedding. The service is attentive and thoughtful, and the breakfast is rich and delicious with plenty of Chinese and Western options. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a gym and a swimming pool. The location is convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

An older hotel, but the facilities are still complete and the room was pretty clean. You can't expect too much from an old hotel. It's best to take a Didi (ride-hailing service) from the station; don't just jump into a shared ride, you might get ripped off. It's just outside the city wall, and I personally think staying here is more comfortable than inside the wall. Among the performances, only the iron flower show is worth seeing, but you absolutely need to get there early to secure a good spot, otherwise, you won't be able to watch. The commercial streets are all pretty much the same!

What I liked most about this stay was front desk staff An Xiaorui. She greeted me with a warm smile as soon as I walked in, and her voice was gentle and polite. The check-in process was very quick, so I didn't have to wait long. She also thoroughly explained details about breakfast, the elevators, and local transportation. When I had questions later, she was incredibly patient and proactively helped coordinate my requests, showing genuine care throughout. Her professional and heartwarming service significantly enhanced my stay, and I absolutely have to give a special shout-out to An Xiaorui!

This trip to Aranya, I chose the Noark Far & Near, and the experience far exceeded my expectations. It's truly an ideal choice for a relaxing and therapeutic getaway. The hotel is located in the serene, Phase 10 area, away from the hustle and bustle of the South Shore. The hotel's shuttle service is on-call, and the park shuttle runs regularly, making it convenient to get to the Chapel, Library, and commercial districts. It perfectly balances tranquility with accessibility. As a new hotel opened in 2025, all the facilities are brand new. The rooms are spacious, and the deep sleep amenities truly live up to their reputation – full blackout curtains and high-end bedding ensured an exceptionally peaceful sleep. The rooms are equipped with a BOSE speaker and a smart toilet, and the minibar drinks and snacks are complimentary. Every detail exudes quality. The public areas are designed with a strong artistic flair, and the lobby scent is luxurious. The outdoor pool, gym, and meditation space are all well-appointed, so even if you don't want to go out, you can still have a very comfortable stay within the hotel. The restaurant on the first floor offers delicious food, and the breakfast selection is extensive. The service was gentle yet discreet. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the shuttle drivers were very thoughtful. Throughout my stay, there was no feeling of awkwardness from excessive service. This is definitely a hotel I would stay at again on my next visit to Aranya.

As foreigners visiting Zhangjiakou in December for the first time for both travel and skiing, the overall experience couldn’t have been better — it was absolutely top-notch 👍. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They immediately noticed that we were traveling with children and had quite a bit of luggage, and proactively offered assistance, which made us feel very well cared for right away. The dining experience was equally impressive. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options to suit different tastes, and the availability of late-night snacks was a wonderful bonus, especially after a long day of skiing. Overall, whether it was the attention to detail at the front desk, the comfort and quality of the accommodation, or the excellent food and beverage service, this hotel truly delivered on all fronts. It’s absolutely an ideal choice for families traveling with children, and we would highly recommend Atour to anyone visiting Zhangjiakou.
