I know this resort has gone through some hard times because a lot of the features and activities they used to offer are no longer available, and the staff has said that they are going through redesigning and relocating some activities to different areas on the property. I still enjoyed my stay. Just one thing, the bed is very uncomfortable.

Never expected the place is so amazing. My mom really loved the ambience. Thank you to their manager Ma'am Roma for going beyond the extra mile.

The service was great but the toilet or bathroom has no hot water and the Wi-Fi is too weak

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Monarch Hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way! The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. I felt right at home from the moment I walked in. The free breakfast was a wonderful surprise - the selection was impressive, and the food was delicious. But what really made my stay stand out was the exceptional service from the staff. They were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. My booking was somehow changed to a 2 single bed studio so my partner and i had to push the beds together. Netflix doesn’t work on the remote we were stuck with random cable networks. They fixed the hot water issue so that was great. I can hear the staff shouting around outside the our room. I think Bedbox Hotel would’ve been a better choice

I would give this hotel a 5 out of 5 rating. The hotel exceeded expectations in every way. The room was spacious, clean and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and high-quality linens. The staff was friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure guests were comfortable. The amenities were top-notch and the food was delicious. The location was also great, with easy access to local attractions and transportation. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I highly recommend this hotel to others.

Been here for the nth time. I would say that they're very consistent with their service, and I'll never regret to choose this hotel since 2016 for relaxation. Kudos to all the staffs and crew for their service and being so respectful they are really a helping hands to your needs such a beautiful people as well as the hotel. The hotel is a small hotel, very clean and clean. The rooms are simple and clean. The hotel is a little isolated, only 2 restaurants around and no shopping. Ideal for rest but very far from Vigan. Breakfast is very good and consistent. The staff is charming and laughing. The only negative point is the very dirty swimming pool never cleaned. Very good quality-price ratio.

Beachfront property with great pools and beachfront restaurant for great sunset cocktails. However the property is showing many signs of aging. In my opinion, an uplifting renovation is needed. The staff are all very attentive and requests are responded promptly. I had to request another room the next morning as the moldy smell of the ac is making me sneeze all night. Within the hour I was relocated to another room with an ocean view and overlooking the pools. Our request for a “tabo” was granted asap and I think that made our stay on the positive side. Little cons for improvement: face towel torn with holes, no smart tv with netflix, bad tv location in room, dirty smelly canal beside Coast restaurant, letting guests use pool with their street clothes on, hawkers on the beach, access road to the property is too narrow, hallways unlit, elevators not cleaned often, only 4 hangers, no microwave, outside food not allowed, tap water not potable and only 1 drinking water station each floor, no hand held shower head and a room safety deposit box that took 3 staff to get it operational.
