Hotels With Pools in Zala, Hungary

We have been staying at the hotel for many years in a row. We were very pleased with the reconstruction of the SPA area. But I would like to point out a negative point: the centrifuge was not placed in the open access as it was before, but in the toilet. Some guests think it is possible to change clothes there, as a result, a queue of those who just need to wring out their swimsuit and those who need to go to the toilet accumulates. We stayed for 8 nights, but the bathrobe was not replaced as before. Has the concept changed? We were very pleased with the range of dishes in the restaurant. Cold soups are back again! Thank you very much!

Heviz is a beautiful place. The location of this hotel is nice. The deluxe room is convenient, quite spacious for 2 people , with a balcony and a nice view. Food is good, various, for any taste. Treatment, exercises, swimming are well organized. Many thanks to staff for friendly and relaxing atmosphere. But the room housekeeping is very disappointing, no every day vacuum cleaning, dust removal, washing floor and cleaning in the bathroom. They just clean out the rubbish bins, that’s all. Within 4 nights stay there was no any normal cleaning, bathroom and toilet washing, bed sheets change. Highly recommend the hotel management to improve room keeping procedures.

The hotel's foyer is impressive and particularly beautifully decorated around Christmas time with the large Christmas tree. The wellness area is well maintained, but unfortunately quite small. The breakfast buffet was a big disappointment this time, as the quality of the food on offer was far below the level of similar hotels in Austria. My room on the 6th floor was large, but somewhat sparsely furnished.

Good hotel, facilities are ok, cleaning needed to be improved. Good for short stay.

Very nice place

This is a complex of buildings on one street, united by one management company under different star ratings. We were settled in two stars. The administration took care of the guests, and installed air conditioners in each room. What the guests used to write about the heat in the summer is not relevant now. The room for two is big. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary. Microwave, the necessary set of dishes and pans, electric stove, refrigerator with freezer, and other necessary trimmings, up to the roller, everything is perfectly clean. Bed large, and bed linen clean. Towels change for certain days of the week. The garbage needs to be sorted, and it is delivered by the maid every day. About the cleaning of the room I will not say, I have not waste, the room for 4 days was clean. The bathroom with a shower cabin. There is even a dryer for underwear. The windows went out to the inner courtyard where the pool (works from 8 to 21 hours). The noise is bad, any movements of guests are heard from the corridor, and in the guest rules, the request is not to noise after 22 hours. Now about the shortcomings: The shower leak does not hold, the holder is bloated. The air conditioner in the 21 room is set unsuccessfully, blows right in the side when you sleep, you had to put two chairs and hang a towel on them, so that it would not be overnight. (Administration, think over the reshuffle in the room). And so worthy of a walk in a walk from the lake and the historical center, and the delicious restaurant nearby.

The castle is a particularly old castle with two open-air swimming pools, and the dinner and breakfast inside are particularly good, offering surprises every time.
