The hotel is brand new, with beautifully finished, spacious rooms. The lobby is also tastefully designed, with comfortable sofas that create a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service and management do not yet match the quality of the physical facilities. The health club is unmanned, with the spa and sauna seemingly left to their own devices. Guests have to ask the receptionist to call a staff member to provide towels and turn on the facilities. There is also no bench or seating area where guests can relax after using the sauna. The rooftop restaurant is ideally located and nicely maintained, offering a setting that could be excellent for both breakfast and dining. Sadly, however, the quality of the food was disappointing. There was also an issue at checkout. Although I had already paid for my entire stay through Trip.com, the receptionist asked me to pay again. Fortunately, the matter was resolved satisfactorily after a phone call with a more senior member of staff. Overall, this could be an excellent hotel. The building, rooms, lobby and facilities have considerable potential, but the hotel needs much more professional and attentive management to bring the overall experience up to the standard its impressive physical facilities deserve.

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel is really good, and it is worthy of being the first choice for friends going to Iran! The location is very convenient, the surrounding facilities are complete, and three Chinese meals are provided every day, which completely satisfies my Chinese stomach 😋. The room is comfortable and warm. The hotel staff are very warm and thoughtful, and they can always meet my needs in the first time. There is a large parking lot opposite the hotel. I am satisfied and highly recommended!

I had a pleasant stay at Taj Hotel Baghdad. The hotel felt safe, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. They kindly allowed me to check in early after I arrived from another hotel. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the room was comfortable. The breakfast offered a good spread with plenty of choices. The location was convenient for exploring Baghdad. The hotel also provides a friendly and reliable car service with a driver, which made touring the city easy and convenient. Overall, Taj Hotel offers good value, warm hospitality and a safe, comfortable base for visitors to Baghdad.

I keep coming back to this hotel because of the kindness from the team lead by mr sari, Sophia, Alan, Mariyam and Faisal. When they are there they make the environment feel home and takes extra measure for our safety as well as comfort. The hotel is good. The price is higher than that of domestic four-star and five-star hotels, but the prices of local hotels are relatively high. The staff is very good. Very polite and enthusiastic! In Iraq, you can feel the enthusiasm of everyone towards the Chinese. The hygiene is also very good. I chose it because it was just renovated. There are many old hotels in the city center. There are local food for breakfast, but it is also suitable for Chinese tastes. The surrounding environment is average, about half an hour away from the city center Karada, because there is a traffic jam ~ this is a flaw. We are staying for business and hope that the hotel is clean and safe. So I think the location is okay! I only left a photo of breakfast ~

The hotel service was great, and they even offer currency exchange. My only minor complaint is that the breakfast wasn't as varied as at other hotels I've stayed in.

Due to work reasons, I often go back and forth to Baghdad, and I have long stopped expecting too much from the hotels here - either the room is too small, or the food is not to my taste, and the service is even more uneven. Before this business trip, I accidentally discovered the newly launched TAJ Crown Hotel on Ctrip, and booked it with a ”try it out” mentality. Unexpectedly, it became the most comfortable stay I have ever had in Baghdad! The hotel lobby is not spacious, but the decoration style is modern. As soon as you enter the door, you are surrounded by elegant fragrance, which instantly relieves the fatigue of the long-distance flight. The front desk guy speaks fluent English, and the check-in is efficient and smooth, without repeated communication. What's more considerate is that an older local porter took the initiative to help carry the luggage and led me all the way to the room, warm and thoughtful. I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I pushed the door open - the room layout is reasonable, with an area of about 40㎡, which is definitely a ”luxury-level” space in Baghdad. The air conditioner was turned on in advance, and it was cool and comfortable as soon as I entered the room. The bedding is delicate and the mattress is moderately soft and hard. For people who travel for business all year round, being able to sleep well is more important than anything else. What touched me most was the large desk (many domestic hotels have shrunk now), with welcome fruits and welcome letters, the rigid needs of business people were accurately grasped! Less than 10 minutes after checking in, a Chinese manager came to greet me, added WeChat and said that he could contact me at any time - this proactive service awareness is rare in overseas hotels. Whether it was consulting travel suggestions or simply chatting, the replies were quick and friendly, and I had the illusion of ”living in a high-end domestic hotel”. Due to the itinerary, I only experienced dinner and breakfast, but the richness of the dishes was satisfactory and the taste was authentic (finally I didn't have to rely on instant noodles to survive). It is lucky to encounter such a hotel in Baghdad - spacious space, delicate service, catering counterparts, and even more attention to details than domestic hotels of the same price. TAJ Crown Hotel made me feel like ”returning home”.
