The service very good. The housekeeping staff who brings us the snack every night during our stay, (A Dan) is very nice & friendly 😊 we loved our stay here will definitely stay here again when we visit Zhangjiajie. Ayi A Dan is very warm and kind, she welcomes us with love and provides us with nice snacks at night. The tour service advisor also provides good service for our trip. The tour guide was kind and outgoing, really friendly to our family and provides us with interesting facts and information about the surrounding areas we visit. The hotel room was very exquisite as the room was very clean and was comforting. The bed sheets were clean, the bathroom was clean with great compliments as well as the cupboards having more condiments which help the experience a lot. Overall, the room was great with comforting condiments and was very clean towards customers and that the laundry room was free which helped us a lot during our stay at the hotel.

Our stay was amazing! We stayed in two double rooms and the room was beautiful, very cute and clean, and the location is very close to Tian Men Mountain so it was very convenient to travel. Best of all was our host, who was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helped us figure out tickets and itinerary throughout our full trip. He was readily available to help whenever needed and was incredibly friendly and kind, offering snacks and tea. If we had any issues or questions, he replied very quickly and was very patient with our subpar Chinese. This hotel and stay was amazing, thank you!

Great Location and Friendly Staff especially front desk for two nights in November 2024 during a family vacation. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Our room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view. The hoteis in a fantastic location, just a short walk from restaurant and popular attractions. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

Our stay was good! Very close to the park east entrance (15 minutes walk/ 3-4 minutes drive), friendly front desk, spacious and clean rooms. Breakfast is OK, no western choices at all but a lot of Chinese ones. Ranked it 3/5 for cleanliness because house-keeping was very minimal. They left half-drank tea cups and empty bottles in our room plus left the balcony door wide open so our room was full of bugs at night. Other then that, all was great and the hotel is very good for its price

Great location! About 2-3 mins walk from Wuyi Square Metro exit 7. There are plenty of restaurants, malls, and in close walking proximity to the famous locations including the store that sells those oversized snacks. The hotel offers breakfast which is 6.5/10. The reception is on the 7th floor and I got a room on the 14th floor, fairly large and comfortable. There were a few things that could use repair and deep cleaning but was okay for the price and considering the location. Overall, recommend and would stay there if I ever visit Changsha again.

I paid $191 NZD for 3 nights, pretty good deal! Clean, smart room, looks new, mostly quiet, could hear the hallway noises and some traffic noises (from the 15th floor) but not the next door room noises. Smoking was allowed outside I think, but was not an issue/the room did not stink of cigarettes even though there was an ashtray inside. Staff don’t speak English but with a bit of my Chinese I could communicate with them for the free trip from the West railway station to the hotel (15min car ride away). The bus station was about 10mins walk to catch the 1hr bus to the ZJJ National park, while the Tianmen mountain cable car was maybe 20mins walk away. Some nice restaurants and mini supermarkets nearby too. Would recommend.

I booked the Huajin room. It's spacious and like most hotels now, the toilet area is quite open without a proper door for you to lock. Thus it's suitable for couples. For friends travelling together, taking their suite is better as you have a big toilet area divided out with wooden doors and lock for privacy. There's no fridge for the Huajin room. Their suite has everything from weighing scale to fridge. Their service is wonderful though. When I feedback about smelling cigarettes in the morning (I booked the non smoking room in a non smoking floor), they apologised earnestly and offered to change a room. Breakfast choice is okie. Not a big spread but a few options for each type.

Excellent service from the staff especially 荔枝姐。She is very helpful n take care of little details during our stay here. All of us enjoyed our stay so much. The location is very convenient to all the shopping areas. Juz remember the car can only drop off is at the main road and u have to walk in the alley. But everything is super good here. Thank you 荔枝姐 and the rest of the staff for the kind n hospitality treatment

This place is great. The girls at the front desk were nice and always in touch. They spoke English to me when I checked in, which is rare 🫶 I only stayed here for three nights, but if I had the time I would have stayed longer. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was so nice that they upgraded me to a bigger room with a great view of the river. If I ever find myself in this city again, I will definitely stay here. Это место великолепно. This was my first time travelling to Changsha on my own and I booked this wonderful hotel.  As a solo traveller the smallest room is large enough for me.  There is a smart tablet to control all appliances, however if you have difficulty to master technology, ordinary switches are also mounted on the wall, which are definitely easier to use.  Basic toiletries are provided, but in case you need additional items like razors or paper towels, or other room services, you just scan a code by Wechat Application then a robot will make your delivery to the room.  If you do read some Chinese it will be fine; otherwise you have to contact the staff through telephone.  Don’t be surprised that the concierge is on the 11th floor yet you see a bar when the lift arrives, soon you will know that each room can enjoy a bowl of Chinese porridge and a glass of cocktail free of charge every night; that’s where you finish your shot after checking in.  Remember to take one before going to bed, plus some free snacks.   There is also a karaoke area and it allows me to connect my music library to the broadcast system and sing along.  First time in my life! Here I would like to say thank you to a young receptionist who surnamed Chen.  Not only did he handle enquiries at the front desk, but he was also responsible for fruit and wine preparing at the lounge.  Although he didn’t show super mixology skills, he worked very hard!  On the day of arrival the karaoke system had some problems, he contacted the technician at once so that I could sing after fixing.  Laundry service is also available, but unlike other hotels where I have to bring the clothes to the machine room, here I just place my request by phone and they will finish the washing for you at zero cost.  Amazingly it was Mr Chen again who came to my door for collection; an industrious boy! The hotel is located in the city centre and a direct bus ride from Changsha train station (No.112) only takes 20 minutes.  This also makes its only demerit because those busy street noise can still be heard in the room at late night (not the hotel's fault), but you may ask for earplugs for a better sleep.

It’s conveniently located next to Huangxing Street, only 5-10min walk away. The location is also central to almost all of the famous streets. Very good 5star hotel , rooms are big.

I stayed for 3 nights over Christmas at the W Hotel and it went above and beyond all expectations! From the sleek, modern design to the impeccably clean facilities. It felt very festive as windows and tables were adorned with delightful Christmas decorations, the highlight was the lovely pink tree on the first floor, it was super cute! The entire staff's commitment to ensuring my stay was exceptional deserves high praise. They catered to every need with a level of care and attentiveness that exceeded all expectations. Day 1: Lovely plate of fruit. Day 2: Cute knitted pouch with candy. Day 3: Xmas-plate of fruit and chocolate log. Plus a big shout out to Eric, who was super attentive and assisted in organising my Christmas Eve afternoon tea and the delicious 5-course Christmas Day meal. (It was pricey at 1288, but included the regular buffet, and a gorgeous red basket with gifts plus an oversized bag! So was worth it.) The bar/chill out area seems to be the hangout place. The energetic atmosphere on Christmas Eve was super cool. There was a runway showcasing several models and a cool DJ. It added an exciting vibe to the festivities, making the evening memorable. Furthermore, the huge swimming pool and changing room facilities felt luxurious, only thing missing was a jacuzzi, although sauna and steam room were great. Additional info: hotel is connected to the mall, line 2 metro is accessible via the mall which made is super convenient to travel around the city. Definitely recommend staying here! This W Hotel flawlessly combines luxury, sophistication, and a vibrant atmosphere, making it a standout hotel.

This is a glorified 4 star hotel. Other than the location, you will be disappointed with the overall hotel experience. It lacks the attention to detail to be a true 5 star hotel experience. A couple of examples; non-smoking rooms being ruined by smokers, the rainforest shower (top mounted shower head) didn’t work and was just an unpleasant drizzle, air-conditioning that just had a mind of its own with no ability to adjust to desired temperature, the bed being somehow both firm and soft. If you are accustomed to chain hotels, then the attention to detail at the Niccolo is missing!

I chose this hotel because it is a 15 minute walk south of Changsha South Railway station. Check in was efficient, and the environment was lively because there is a KTV club in the same building (but on the hotel floors I couldn't hear any noise from downstairs). The elevators smelt smokey as a result of all the people coming to party. The breakfast was fine, nothing remarkable. If I had to arrive late and catch an early train again, I would stay in this hotel one more time .

Such a great hotel with personalised service provided by Miss Fong the hotel manager. She treated us like VIP guests. She provided services like free pick up from high speed railway station or airport, arranged park and attraction tickets at discounted prices, spent time to show us the best route to travel, and suggested the best restaurants in the local area. I don't think even a five star hotel can provide this level of excellence and service. This is the best stay we've had from the 9 cities we visited in China.Even a five star hotel cannot provide this type of personalised service.. Thank you so very much Miss Fong for looking after us. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and family.

Stayed 3 nights in double room. Expectation/Reality: the room was just as good as what was expected in the pictures. It’s on the 11/10 floor of the apartment building. Security: good security, felt belonging were safe. Hygiene: very clean and cleaned frequently and consistently. Hospitality: the attendants are very competent and know about local attractions and were helpful for all requests. Social Atmosphere: it’s a hotel so it’s not a big social scene, but there is a lounge area where you can sit and read. The location is very close to the cableway and close to the bridge into the downtown area. Highly recommend.

Excellent stay at Eryatou Inn! The location is very convenient — a quick walk to the west entrance of Zhangjiajie park and right next to a night market where lots of stalls are selling food (our favorite was a steak stall that served steak, pasta, egg, and a drink for 19.9rmb right in front towards the left facing away from the inn). The hosts were so kind and helpful, helping us plan our days at the park depending on weather, and inviting us to eat sweet potatoes and drink tea in the afternoon/evenings with other guests. They also helped us book our park ticket package and the theatre performance at a discount. The rooms were spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable, and shower was hot and had good pressure. Excellent value for the stay, we would stay again if we are ever in the area again!

(Foreigners) The hotel is very close to the Tianmenshan cableway station (3 minutes walk), rooms are spacious, clean and new. Awesome (!!) and friendly receptionists who were willing to assist with anything and everything. Breakfast is very good and has many options. Very recommended!

Conveniently located 200m to Wulingyuan car/van station. There is a bus stop infront of the inn which can bring you to the east gate or 东门at ZhangJiaJie National Park for CNY2. Inn provided daily tangerine, washing machine for laundry and also daily breakfast with noodle served upon order by 2 friendly cook which comes with 1 egg, mantou, soya bean drink at the 5th floor rooftop via elevator with wonderful mountain view. It was great energy boost before starting the hike at the Park. 小袁 is patient to demonstrate how to operate the tv, advised the route to take at the Park and gave discount for purchase of grand canyon ticket which also saved time to queue at the ticket booth. 小宋 is helpful to book didi using her account to the Park as my alipay cannot be loaded and gave suggestion how to plan my program. 小卢immediately jumped to the rescue when he saw that I was running late by giving me a ride with my luggage on his own bike to the car/van station. Thank you for the great service and making my stay so enjoyable!

Staff were very friendly. You can get recommendations from them on the best route to tour Fenghuang. We had big luggage with us (28”/30”& 32”). The accommodations do not have an elevator. The staff kindly carried all our luggage to our room when we checked in and down to level 1 when we checked out. Tip for travellers: if you are not expecting to do much shopping. Would be better to travel light.

Book your stay with Tusi Xuanfu when staying in Furong Ancient Town! We had such a wonderful stay and the view from their courtyard is amazing! You get to see the whole view of the beautiful ancient town! Check in and check out was prompt and smooth! The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Prior to us arriving, they helped us arrange for a driver to come pick us up from the train station. They made our stay in furong so seamless and stress free. The staff also helped us arrange for a car service back to Zhangjiajie Hehua airport when we departed. I will be recommending Tusi Xuanfu to all my friends and family who are planning to visit Furong Ancient Town! 💕

What an absolutely incredible place to visit. The staff were amazing, they picked me up from the train station for free and purchased the town entrance tickets at a discounted price. The view from the balcony was fantastic both at day and night time. The staff also helped me book a taxi to my train when leaving and I had left some belongings behind and they ran them to me before the taxi arrived. 5 star service 5 star location. Would highly recommend this the service could not have been better!

Highly recommended this hotel !! Very good location & the view from balcony is so amazing. Besides of that, their pretty staff 小滕 is very friendly & lovely. Guided me how to play with the route when I arrived the hotel. Our stay here was good. The girl at reception is very kind and always wants to help, and even gave us a lift to the train station when we left, but you need to ask in advance. The hotel is right next to the scenic area of Furong. Our balcony and room were beautiful- but our mosquito net was broken so the room got very damp. Also there was some mould on the curtain in the bathroom and the chair on the balcony. The breakfast was free and very nice, although the kitchen it is cooked in looks a bit unclean which put me off. There was free snacks but no free water which we have experienced everywhere else in China. It looks beautiful at night. I wish it was cleaner.

We had a big room with a very big bed. The bathroom was big with a self-flushing toilet and toilet seat warmer! One wall of the room was just glass so we had a good view out, over some old roofs and windows, and a far view of lovely builidings on a hill. We had a long and narrow balcony with a view of the river, pagoda and bridges. Right below was the bustling street scene near the Hong Qiaio (Rainbow Bridge). The balcony has a couple of hanging bubble seats and even a small table and chairs. Just perfect for viewing the amazing night scenery and people-watch. (Based on an earlier review, we knew the noise stopped at 11.30pm so we had good nights' sleep). We were very comfortable and happy with our room. It was just a short walk from the shops outside the Ancient Town, so we could enjoy both sides of Feng Huang. The entrance to the hostel is hidden behind a costume rental shop, so it's a little tricky to find. The hostel also has a water dispenser for filling up water bottles. All I can say is the location is just the best for watching the comings and goings in the streets, with easy access for walking along the riverside, pagoda, bridges, viewing the performances on the river...yet near enough to pop into our comfy room to recharge.

this is so far the best budget hotel we have stay during this trip. the room is exactly as the photos and the bed was super soft and comfy. we contacted the owner and she had a car pick us at the train station. she also helped with getting the tickets and arrange car for the next day. the photos are from my room, thou would love to go a bit further into the town for a better view but its a 5* for the bed and the spacious room.

The owner of the team here provides warm welcome, advice and assistance with information. The atmosphere is wonderful because it is an ancient village with a river in the middle of it. It is very beautiful and peaceful. The lights at night are like being in heaven. The river is clean and the water is clear. Believe us, if you come here, you will not be disappointed. We also recommend staying here.

The hotel is close to the Fog bridge in the Fenghuang ancient city. My room has the river view and two balconies, which is excellent for night view of the city. The room is spacious enough for four adults, but needs to share for one bathroom. The breakfast buffet only offered a simple Chinese breakfast with limited varieties. The hotel room was quiet at night time. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. The restaurant was excellent and offered authentic Hunan style food. Overall, this hotel experience was excellent.

Oda was very accommodating and made sure that my stay was as good as could be. I originally had trouble finding the hotel, but Oda went out to find me after I made a call to the hotel. The location is right in the scenic area and has one of the best views of the Furong waterfall. It was an added bonus that I was given a free room upgrade since it was available for the day that I was staying there. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at Tianquan Inn for my short trip to Furong Town.
