For this trip to Zhangjiajie, we spent the first two nights enjoying a slow pace on the west side, then moved to the Guanzhi S B&B near the East Gate for the next two nights. This B&B positions itself as a boutique hotel, not just a regular guesthouse. However, because it's so close to the scenic area, it's located in a restricted zone. ⚠️ You MUST use Didi (ride-hailing app) to get directly to the B&B's doorstep. Plus, the hotel offers a 7-seater shuttle service, so transportation is a breeze for families. We had a great stay in the duplex room at this hotel. The room was lovely. All staff were wonderful and very helpful. Even before we arrived, they were able to help us out with any queries we had for visiting the area. They booked our tickets in advance for Zhangjiajie national park and Tianmen mountain (even though we were moving to another hotel to be nearer Tianmen mountain at the end of our trip). They were also able to provide us with a good itinerary for those visits. They also have a cute family of cats and kittens living on their roof garden at the moment! Would highly recommend staying there.

Staying at Four Seasons Creek Side was the best decision we made for our Zhangjiajie trip! The hotel is located right next to Baofeng Lake. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were both very efficient. They even provided free high-speed rail station pickup and transfers to the East Gate of the Forest Park, accommodating all our needs. The location is also super convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay! Everyone was really kind, organized both our airport pickup and the drop off back to the city for free (which we did not expect). And most importantly, spent time to design a one day itinerary for us so we could see the best parts of the park with limited time. The place is only a 5-10 minute walk to the entrance which was awesome! They also kindly upgraded us to the 360 degree view room, which was incredible. I posted the view from the terrace, really lovely to wake up to this view every morning. The one thing I would say is bring an eye mask. With all the lovely big windows it does get pretty bright early in the morning. It didn't bother us since we had to wake up early to visit the park. Overall I'd say it was perfect and pretty much everything we could've wanted

They offer breakfast, afternoon tea, and even shuttle services to and from the station and local attractions. The competition in the B&B/hotel industry is truly fierce these days! The service here is absolutely impeccable. For this price and level of service, I feel like I've hit the jackpot! Oh, and they also have a pool and hot spring. The beautiful scenery of Furong Town couldn't even make me as happy as the hotel's service did! They also have another location in the ancient town that's a bit newer, with amazing night views. All in all, it was a fantastic trip!

This hotel truly impressed us in every way. The service alone deserves 5+ stars. Miss Wendy (who is the front desk manager and looks like the only one who spoke English) was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and incredibly proactive. Wendy anticipated our needs, provided helpful local recommendations, allowed us to choose the room we preferred, and even helped us to select tickets to the national park without any hassle. The room had a fantastic view of the mountains, which made the stay feel very special. Breakfast was outstanding—easily a 10/10—with a wide selection and a beautiful view from the restaurant. The location is also a major plus: very close to the train station and extremely convenient for both the airport and train stations. As an added bonus, there is restaurants nearby, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere in the evenings. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie. Because of the Wendy we extended our trip in this hotel for another week.

Absolutely wonderful accommodation! The staff was very helpful and assisted us in purchasing tickets for Tianmen Mountain and the National Park. The location is excellent, close to pleasant restaurants and Tianmen Mountain, while the National Park is about a 40-minute drive away (via DiDi). Most importantly: the views from the mountain-facing rooms are breathtaking! It is a wonderful feeling to wake up to such a view!

A very unique and memorable stay in Zhangjiajie! We stayed 2 nights in the Morning Glow King Suite Bedroom. The highlight of this homestay is its cave concept. The reception area is huge, impressive, and beautifully designed, creating a real wow factor upon arrival. The property also features a cave restaurant where breakfast is served, and dinner can be arranged with advance booking. There is also a cosy cave lounge for guests to relax. Our room was large, comfortable, and very clean. The facilities were well maintained and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Location is excellent. The homestay is hidden behind the famous theatre performance venue but only a short walk to the main street, making it convenient while remaining quiet. Highly recommended for travellers looking for a unique accommodation experience in Zhangjiajie. The cave setting alone makes it worth staying here.

The hotel is conveniently located right by the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, just a 10-minute walk to the park's entrance. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered a lovely river view through its floor-to-ceiling windows. They provided an impressive array of amenities; it's the first time I've stayed at a hotel that offered facial cleanser and makeup remover! Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion were all included, not to mention toothbrushes and toothpaste. Face towels, hand towels, bath towels, floor mats, bathrobes, and both dry and wet slippers were all readily available. Breakfast was included and featured a buffet with both Chinese and Western options. There were four different stir-fried dishes daily, and fresh noodles and rice vermicelli were made to order with different soup bases each day. Before arrival, the hotel proactively contacted me to help plan my itinerary for free and even booked national park tickets, which saved me dozens of yuan compared to booking online via apps! The itinerary they planned was very well-thought-out. Upon checking in, they provided all the park maps with routes clearly marked. [Thumbs up emoji] Thanks to the front desk's detailed explanation, I later realized that following their suggested routes meant I didn't waste any time or take any unnecessary detours! In the evening, the lights along the river were beautiful, and many people were enjoying themselves, creating a lively atmosphere. Despite this, the room's soundproofing was excellent! Once the windows were closed, I had a great night's sleep!

Highly recommended!!! This homestay is located closer to South Gate of the National Park which I believe provides nicer views with much fewer crowds then the main East Gate. The room we stayed at was warmly decorated with everything you need. Shower was comfortable and it was quiet at night to sleep. We woke up to the sound of country birdsong and farm rooster, then looking out to beautiful mountain views and wildflowers blooming with crisp fresh air. The pick-up and drop off services made the whole trip so much smoother and saved us lots of time and money. The owner was super kind and helpful with planning itinerary around weather and purchasing discounted tickets for us. We managed to tick our whole list for Zhangjiajie and are extremely happy. Oh and did I mention the home-cooked farm dishes. They are sooo delicious with the freshest ingredients, at very reasonable prices for a touristy area. Must try the homemade sausages and barbecue! To be fair all of the other dishes were incredible too so you can't go wrong. They were so yummy and satisfying after a long day of hiking and adventures. If you want an true authentic local experience at great value, dont hesitate and book this place. The owner running this place is kind, attentive and most importantly trustworthy.
