"We had a very nice stay here. The hotel amenities are made for convenience and absolute comfort, with heated toilet, high tech shower, and smart room. Everything is clean. The owners are all accommodating and even prepared meals for us, the Tujia cured pork was soooo delicious! The location is pretty far from the center but it’s a good spot to enjoy nature. It’s very serene and peaceful. If you’re going to ZJJ national park, it’s nice going in the early morning through the south gate and it’ll almost feel like you have the entire golden whipstream trail for yourself. Most tourists enter from the east gate and the experience feels from there feels overly crowded."

GGuest UserOur stay at Fungee Hotel was absolutely wonderful. This is a very modern hotel with excellent facilities and an incredible team that truly makes you feel welcome.
The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with modern technology that makes the stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Everything feels new, clean, and thoughtfully designed.
What impressed us the most was the staff. They helped us organize tickets for the local show as well as for the national park, making everything very easy and stress-free. On one particularly rainy day, when the Didi service was not operating properly, they even came to pick us up themselves. Their level of care and attention was truly exceptional.
Throughout our stay, we genuinely felt that the staff wanted us to have the best possible experience and went above and beyond to help us in every way.
The hotel also offers a lovely afternoon tea service that is delivered directly to your room, complimentary laundry facilities, and free rain ponchos and umbrellas for guests. These thoughtful touches made our stay even more enjoyable.
Fungee Hotel combines modern comfort with outstanding hospitality. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie and would gladly stay here again.

Before my trip, I contacted the hotel to book the free airport pick-up and to help purchase attraction tickets. The entire communication process was incredibly smooth. Customer service was quick to respond and arranged everything clearly, making me feel at ease even before I left.
The free airport pick-up service was convenient and efficient. As soon as my plane landed, the pick-up driver called, so there was no waiting around at all. The drive was very smooth.
Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in was incredibly fast. We were on the sixth floor. Our room was a large suite, providing more than enough space for our family of three. It was clean, tidy, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The separate toilet and shower design was a thoughtful touch. The shower pressure was excellent, which was a real treat after a long day of sightseeing. The in-room smart control system was also very convenient; we could manage everything from the comfort of our bed.
The front desk staff were incredibly patient and gave us detailed explanations of routes and tips for exploring, which was a great help. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, the quality was excellent, making for a satisfying and pleasant meal.
Another surprise was the rooftop garden. The ambiance was lovely, and there was even a 'cat house' where you could pet cats! All in all, this stay was perfect. The service, room, and attention to detail were all spot on. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserStaying at Four Seasons Creek Side was the best decision we made for our Zhangjiajie trip! The hotel is located right next to Baofeng Lake. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were both very efficient. They even provided free high-speed rail station pickup and transfers to the East Gate of the Forest Park, accommodating all our needs. The location is also super convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserWonderful stay! Everyone was really kind, organized both our airport pickup and the drop off back to the city for free (which we did not expect). And most importantly, spent time to design a one day itinerary for us so we could see the best parts of the park with limited time. The place is only a 5-10 minute walk to the entrance which was awesome!
They also kindly upgraded us to the 360 degree view room, which was incredible. I posted the view from the terrace, really lovely to wake up to this view every morning.
The one thing I would say is bring an eye mask. With all the lovely big windows it does get pretty bright early in the morning. It didn't bother us since we had to wake up early to visit the park.
Overall I'd say it was perfect and pretty much everything we could've wanted

GGuest UserAfter a long search on Trip.com, I finally settled on this hotel, and it truly exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. The lobby was spacious and bright as soon as I walked in. They even have a self-service check-in area for Trip.com VIPs, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. I was very pleased with the room – it was large, well-lit, and fully equipped. The in-room smart speaker (Xiao Du) was a fantastic touch, playing soft music that helped me drift off to sleep peacefully. The cleanliness was impeccable, and there was a subtle, pleasant fragrance. When I ran out of water, I contacted the butler, and a fresh supply was delivered immediately – the service was simply outstanding. The hotel restaurant served a delicious dinner at a reasonable price, with plenty of options to choose from, making for a very satisfying meal.
What really stood out was its proximity to the ancient city. After dinner, it was just a few minutes' walk to Youhong Bridge in the heart of the ancient city. I even met an old lady selling flower wreaths. Strolling through the ancient city, wearing a locally woven flower wreath, was a truly delightful experience.

The location is excellent, close to pleasant restaurants and Tianmen Mountain, while the National Park is about a 40-minute drive away (via DiDi). Most importantly: the views from the mountain-facing rooms are breathtaking! It is a wonderful feeling to wake up to such a view!

We stayed 2 nights in the Morning Glow King Suite Bedroom. The highlight of this homestay is its cave concept. The reception area is huge, impressive, and beautifully designed, creating a real wow factor upon arrival.
The property also features a cave restaurant where breakfast is served, and dinner can be arranged with advance booking. There is also a cosy cave lounge for guests to relax.
Our room was large, comfortable, and very clean. The facilities were well maintained and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing.
Location is excellent. The homestay is hidden behind the famous theatre performance venue but only a short walk to the main street, making it convenient while remaining quiet.
Highly recommended for travellers looking for a unique accommodation experience in Zhangjiajie. The cave setting alone makes it worth staying here.

GGuest UserI had an absolutely incredible stay at Lanting Elegant Restaurant Hotel in Wulingyuan. The hotel itself was modern, beautifully laid out, very clean, and comfortable from the rooms to the lobby to the restaurant.
But what truly made this hotel stand out above hundreds of hotels I’ve stayed in was the staff. They were some of the most helpful, welcoming, and genuinely kind people I’ve ever experienced while traveling. Every day they greeted me with big smiles and were always happy to help with anything I needed.
What made them especially amazing was how much they helped plan my entire stay in the Zhangjiajie area. They didn’t just give basic recommendations — they acted like dedicated travel agents. They helped me plan detailed routes for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the Grand Canyon, caves, Tianmen Mountain, and other activities nearby. They knew every viewpoint, bus route, walking path, ticket option, timing, and how much I could realistically fit into each day based on my schedule and ability level.
They also helped arrange tickets and communicate with the parks and businesses for me, always clearly explaining the cost with no extra fees. Because of them, I went into every park knowing exactly where to go, what route to take, which viewpoints to see, and how to make the most of my time. It completely removed the stress of planning and made my trip so much better than it would have been on my own.
I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff went above and beyond every single day and made my experience in Wulingyuan unforgettable. If you are visiting Zhangjiajie, I highly recommend staying here. This was easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped with all necessary facilities, and had plenty of hot water, meeting all basic accommodation needs. The owner was very hospitable and even helped us plan a great itinerary for visiting the Forest Park. Its location near Wulingyuan makes it convenient to get to the Forest Park entrance, making it an ideal place to stay when exploring Zhangjiajie.
