The Hyatt is right by the Yellow River, and our river view room faced it directly, though there wasn't much to see on the other side. The room showed its age but was well-maintained. The bedding was high quality, with that familiar smooth and soft feel. The location isn't far from the Iron Bridge; there are two bridges in between. We took a walk around the area, which lasted about an hour and a half. The Qing Shui Platform on the opposite side of the river was nice, and it wasn't crowded at night. The biggest issue with the room facilities was the smoke smell. I'm not sure if it was coming from an adjacent room through the ventilation, but since we were only staying one night, we didn't bother to address it. During Chinese New Year, we received a complimentary minibar with a good selection of drinks, more than we could finish. It was a nice touch to get to try some local specialties. The front desk service was excellent. For food delivery, they have staff bring it up. I ordered a 'Fangha' (presumably a local dish/drink), which was quite ordinary, but at least I got to try it. There's a pretty good beef noodle shop if you turn left when you exit the hotel.

Airport Civil Aviation Manhattan Hotel: Located on the 4.8 Highway near Lanzhou Zhongchuan Airport, Lanzhou New District, Lanzhou City. At that time, I was on the plane from Shanghai and then contacted the hotel and said that there was a pick-up service. After landing, I immediately called them. They were really efficient. It was about a minute or so. The driver has contacted me, just like the special car, and it didn't take long to pick up and leave. Then talk about the hotel front desk. The service is perfect. I smoked outside and they said it was too cold outside. Really touched. And there is a drop-off service. Departure every hour 🌳 Environment introduction: I believe you can see clearly from the photos. The photo was taken after I checked in. This hotel looked incredible! From top to bottom, it was clear that the designers took style seriously. The rooms gave off a sense of luxury that few other hotels in this process range have. The carpets, floors, doors, cabinets, beds etc. emitted a sense of tranquility, which made me feel very comfortable. Also, after travelling around China for nearly a month, I can say that this was by far the best breakfast I've had at roughly a dozen hotels. The staff were professional, everything was very clean, and the location could not have been better. My only issues: there was no air conditioning, and my room was very hot at night. Additionally, when the rooms next to you are watching television, you can hear everything in your room.

The room was quite cozy, and the floor it was on was also pretty good. Getting around the area was convenient. However, I found the breakfast to be just average; even the beef noodles had tiny bits of shredded beef in them. The service attitude of the staff at breakfast really needs improvement; it doesn't match the hotel's standards. I hope these things will be better on my next visit.

Staying at the Sheraton Zhongsheng in Lanzhou was absolutely worth it! The moment I walked in, I was touched by the thoughtful service from the concierge, especially Lucky, who was incredibly welcoming. The room was spacious and tidy, and some room types even offer panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows with direct views of the Yellow River – the night view was breathtaking. The bedding was soft and made for a great night's sleep. Smart bathroom fixtures and a Dyson hairdryer were a super thoughtful touch. The freshly made beef noodles at breakfast were surprisingly authentic. The gym and heated pool facilities were excellent. With direct subway access and surrounded by shopping districts, it's super convenient for getting around and dining out. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lanzhou!

This is the second time I have stayed here. The room is very spacious. Although it is an old hotel, I can feel the quality of the decoration and the facilities are complete. The hotel is very large, and the greenery, water system, pavilions and towers are all very beautiful. It is like living in a big park. It is a good choice for travel and leisure. It is very close to Kongtong Mountain Scenic Area, less than ten minutes' drive. We climbed Kongtong Mountain on the first day and brought the elderly with us. It rained on the second day. Just walk around the hotel and go to the swimming pool for free. The elderly had a lot of fun and were not tired. In the afternoon, we enjoyed the scenery, drank tea and chatted on the terrace of the room, and went to the restaurant to eat delicious hand-pulled lamb in the evening. The service staff are very enthusiastic, especially the Xiao Li team in the guest room building No. 5, who made us really feel what it means to feel at home. Thank you very much. I will stay here next time.

Very mixed feelings about this hotel. The amenities are a plus: gym and laundry (but no dryer) for free and swim and massage (worth trying!) available on top. Breakfast is also amazing. Room is very spacious and little welcome gifts are provided, which is cute. However there is a very annoying smell of cigarette smoke EVERYWHERE. I usually don’t mind cigarette smoke but here it was very intense and disturbing. Also, no one in the staff speaks English or is equipped with any translation tool. The personnel seemed annoyed every time we were trying to communicate with them and couldn’t provide any help. So I think for Chinese standards this is a good hotel but I would say it is not the most suitable for international guests.

Stayed here for one night and had a great experience. The free airport pick-up was on time, and the customer service was very responsive throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and had a simple yet cozy design. No trace of smoke smell, which I really appreciated. They offer free self-service laundry, including a dryer and iron, which is a great bonus. Since I don’t have a China mobile number to scan and use the washing machine and dryer, the staff went the extra mile and helped me scan both. I’m so grateful for their kindness and assistance. Breakfast was good, and the location is convenient, just a short walk to shopping malls and eateries. Highly recommended, especially for solo travelers!

It is a bit far from the city center, and there are few restaurants around. The hotel itself has good service and is very quiet. The snacks and red dates in the lobby are delicious, and there is plenty of mineral water. When you meet the aunt who cleans the room, she will take the initiative to say hello. There is a self-service laundry room, which is very convenient. We went to Qicai Danxia and Pingshan Lake Grand Canyon for two days, but the itinerary changed later, so we only stayed for one night. The hotel also has free pick-up and drop-off service, which must be booked in advance.
