Very good holiday island, no children, quiet. The room service was very good, the housekeeper arranged in a well-organized manner, we came to clean as soon as we went out, and replenished enough water. The breakfast and dinner are very rich, the level is very high, satisfied. The only downside is that this time to catch up with the heavy wind and rain, there is no snorkeling and any sea activities. The pick-up service is very good, there is a lounge, at the water airport, some distance from the international airport, there is a car transfer, and the service staff will follow.

I'm truly overjoyed! The service at this hotel is absolutely fantastic, and the accommodation is exceptionally comfortable! After a memorable first visit to Fulidhoo and Thinadhoo in 2023, I returned this year with my family. Our choice of Kudarikilu started with a glowing review I read about Baa Sand. I contacted Ali, the hotel manager, via WhatsApp and he kindly gave us a live video tour of the rooms, pool, and rooftop terrace. Even in the dark, we could feel the welcoming atmosphere—and we knew we had found our place.
Since our flight arrived on a Friday night (a weekend day in the Maldives when public transport doesn’t operate), Ali arranged everything: a great-value transit hotel in Malé, airport pickup, and speedboat transfer the next day. Considering we booked just days before departure, his help was invaluable.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed at the jetty by the entire team—it felt like a homecoming. Hasan gave us a tour of the island, helping us settle in instantly. What made this trip even more meaningful was bringing my elderly mother, who has long dreamed of seeing the Maldives. She doesn’t speak English and has health conditions, but Ali and his team ensured she was incredibly well cared for.
One night, my mother struggled to sleep due to missing her regular medication. When this triggered a heart issue, Ali personally took her to the island hospital. The staff were ready upon arrival, and Ali stayed with her, arranged the consultation, picked up the medicine, and covered the cost until we settled it at checkout. Though they couldn’t speak the same language, the kindness they shared needed no translation.
The hotel itself is beautifully maintained—modern, spotless rooms with strong showers, large safes, comfortable beds, and daily beach towel service. They’re even preparing to open a spa soon.
Kudarikilu is tranquil and welcoming. Locals greet you with genuine smiles, and wildlife is everywhere—from hatchling sea turtles and reef sharks to fruit bats and colorful birds. The hotel’s parrots, Bii and Boo, and the receptionist’s adorable bird, Shyy, brought extra charm to our stay.
The restaurant just across the road was another highlight. The manager was always warm, our table was set with care, and the local chili paste is a must-try for spice lovers. Prices were very reasonable, and the food quality exceeded that of neighboring islands. Plans to expand the menu with a new chef are in the works too.
There are also several supermarkets nearby for essentials at local prices.
In short, our stay at Baa Sand was extraordinary. The people made all the difference—Ali, Hasan, the receptionist, and the restaurant manager treated us like family. Even after a short stay, we left with full hearts and warm memories. We’re already planning to return—it truly felt like saying goodbye to old friends.

GGuest UserThis is probably one od the newest resorts in the Maldives opened only a few years ago so everything is new, clean and functional. I highly recommend getting a water villa for the full experience, the higher price is definitely worth it. All the villas are extremely spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are tiled in marble and are the size of a small apartment. The rooms are very comfortable and modern with stunning views. On the first morning we woke up to dolphins greeting us (not joking!). The island is obviously beautiful, with a lake in the middle of it and fantastic tropical vegetation. There is a plant nursery on the island where all plants are grown and once they reach the right size they are planted around the island by the expert gardening staff. Baby sharks and other beatiful fish are always around and you can see them all the time. What mad the experience very special was the hotel staff. Apart from being professio al and well trained, they all went out of their way to be super friendly and polite. Special thanks to Nadheem (aka Totti) and the rest of the Food and Beverage staff who made the experience extraordinary! I must also commend the owners of the hotel for the way they treat their staff. In a country where every square centimetre of land is a priceless commodity, the owners had a football pitch built for their staff, within their restricted area. They organised an interdepartment tournament with all the perks. Special kits (uniforms), commentary, scoreboard, everything. Some of the guests (including us) were invited to watch and it was a lot of fun. I have been to resorts around the world (including my own country) and I think this should be an example to all of them. No wonder the staff are friendly and professional when they are treated well and respected! To sum everything up, this resort is perfect for a romantic couples vacation and I highly recommend it! Definitely going back there at some point! I recommend the water villas facing south for the most beautiful views. Get the all inclusive package, it is worth it. You won't need your wallet (or shoes) during your whole stay. One friendly suggestion to the staff: the music in all venues is very repetitive and after a few days it gets to your head. I would suggest investing in a few good playlists that reflect the island mood. It wouldn't cost much but it would give that extra sparkle to the experience.

GGuest UserHad a great holiday at the beautiful Westin. The 45-minute flight distance from Male Airport is just right, and the hotel's pick-up and drop-off services are very attentive. Our order included breakfast and dinner, and one of the dinners could be reserved at the Japanese restaurant. The buffet has a rich variety and you can taste food from different countries. Due to the strong wind and waves during this period, unfortunately we were unable to participate in sea activities such as paddle boarding, but the coaches held a fierce volleyball match in the swimming pool. You can see some corals 🪸 and tropical fish 🐠 while snorkeling. The room facilities are impeccable. The most impressive thing is the enthusiasm of the staff. Whether it is the welcome and farewell queue at the pier, the chat in the restaurant, or the greetings when we meet on the road, it makes you feel as if you are in a familiar community and feel more relaxed and comfortable. If there is a chance in the future, I will come again!

There are biscuits and soft drinks. If the return flight is very late, it takes a long time to wait. It is still necessary to rest in the lounge. The room is similar to the introduction. The Pad that controls the various facilities in the house is a bit old and it feels a bit dirty on the hand. There are also towels that are broken... I ordered half a package meal. There are teppanyaki Japanese restaurants in the five restaurants that need to pay extra. The remaining four restaurants taste good. And the weight is very large. Our family of three will have a little left. For the Chinese, it may be that there are fewer vegetables on the island, and others are always able to find a meal that suits the taste. Half a pack is not including drinks, the ”wine” here also includes ordinary water, free bottled water in the room and in various parts of the hotel, at the restaurant to pay for meals, $6 a bottle does not include tax and service charges. The activities cost about 200 dollars a person, and at least four people. The children still wanted to snorkel on the last day, but they didn't have enough four people to make an appointment to go into the water at the hotel pier without taking a boat. The hourly fee is $320 including tax. On the island for 6 days, there has been a strong wind hanging red flags and can not go to sea. Three days of cloudy days rain intermittently. Most of the time, I spend time in the hotel club. Billiards, table tennis, tennis, football tables. Children can also draw one-to-one, and $50 at a time needs to pay cash. Both snorkelings were on the water near the hotel. Someone snorkeled by himself and did not need the hotel's security guard to lead. I have not snorkeled before in my family, and I am worried about the wind and the waves, so I asked the security guard to lead. Later, I will go to Madai in its peak season, and I still have a lot of regrets for not going to sea, although there are often fish swimming under the water house. This island is very small, there are not many residents in non-peak season, there are not many villas, semi-water villas are very good.
Basically, there are many Italian guests on the island, and usually there are few people participating in various water activities. It is necessary to discuss the price separately, such as snorkeling by speedboat alone, and fishing alone to see dolphins.
If the guest’s English is not very good, the island will cheat students. When we check out, I actually have to pay for the seaplane. Free accommodation for children has also become a charge. I directly called Ctrip and refused to pay. Exempt, this is more than 2,000 US dollars. If it is not for the flight delay, I have time to toss with them, I have to pay in advance by credit card.
The scenery is very good, the sea snorkeling is very beautiful, I saw groups of dolphins, but the island lacked some activities and atmosphere, I went back to the hotel to sleep early in the evening. Therefore, the arrangement during the day is very full, using US dollars as RMB flowers.
There are good snorkeling corals on the right front of the pier and next to the billiards hall. Those who don’t want to go out to sea or those with low swimming level can take a look here. They are also very good and safe.

CCarlitos TravelsThis place is really good, clean, nice design. The Sri Lankan chef makes fantastic food. We had a bit of a misunderstanding with dinner as we had already paid through trip but it was cleared quickly.
We used them to organize a whole day of snorkeling sadly we only saw a turle, due not being the season for mantas nor whale sharks. They took us to an empty island with white sand and crystal blue sea, it was lovely. I think the lunch could have been better but it was a great day. We also went night fishing, we only caught one fish but another couple caught four! Again it was nice being out in the seat night, we then went back to the hotel and the chef grilled the fish we caught!
We were very happy with our stay!

＜ Snorkeling ＞
Close to the room to drop-off, snorkeling is the best. Be careful not to catch corals as the front is quite shallow. There were many kinds and quantities of fish, and I could see turtles every day. If you don't chase, you will swim nearby. According to the staff, I have seen the best ５ at once.
It is said that the snorkeling between water sports jetty and Benjarong is the most.
The life jacket provided in the room was easy to use. I entered the sea from my room every morning, but there was a flow depending on the day and it was difficult to reverse, so I went up from the sandy beach near Benjarong while being washed away by Xu 々 I went back to my room.
The water villa on the 501-510 side is the best for snorkeling, but the sound of the waves hitting the shore was quite loud, and it was a little negative that I could hear all the time in the room.
＜ Yoga ＞
There were several free yoga lessons every day (reservation required) The teacher was a young Thai woman teacher and was quite authentic. ＜ Customer layer ＞
Traveling from China has not yet resumed in a big 々, so there weren't many Chinese. Most Asians are young Korean couples (a little bad manners), and Japanese are not yet there after Corona.
Many Europeans came as families, and many Europeans were in terms of number, but it seems that there are usually many Asians (China and South Korea).
＜ Food ＞
I made it all-inclusive. Drinks in the room (soft drinks, beer, tea, coffee, etc.) are included, but some alcohol in the room and restaurant are charged.
If you had lunch on the first day, the lunch on the last day was an extra charge (butler explains). The food was delicious at every restaurant.
＜ Room ＞
Water circulation (washroom ２ or place) The amount and temperature of the shower was perfect. You can also store hot water immediately in the bathtub. The water leaked on the floor on the first day, but I was able to fix it immediately.
Bed wanted a twin, but was told not to be a prior request, but when I went to the room, it was made into a Hollywood twin.
The bicycle installed in the room was convenient (no brakes, type that stops the pedal with a reverse saw, there is a bar in the middle like for men, so the tight skirt may be tighter ... You can ride on a dress i'm sorry.
The private pool in the room is seawater.
On the last day, I wanted a boat ＋ domestic flight from the resort on a plane from Male at 23:40, so there was a guide the day before and I was able to use the room until 18:00 when I checked out 19:00 resort departure.

Incredible nature and all the people that work there are all very kind and welcoming. we were truly happy.Tthe only small flaw is that the activities and extras are really expensive and in a hotel like this it is not proportionate. We could have done many excursions and booked every day massages etc but with such high prices we limited ourselves to two. the risk is to lose opportunities. so this is my only advice. Thanks anyway for this beautiful holiday! See you soon

The staff was phenomenal, always on hand to assist with anything we needed, and the views from the balcony were breathtaking. However, the highlight was undoubtedly the food: a daily feast of delectable dishes, prepared and served by an exceptional team of chefs and waitstaff. I'm thrilled we decided on Kiha Beach for our stay. I'm eagerly looking forward to returning soon, especially for the Manta Rays season!
