It comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Room is spacious. The so-called 24/7 assistance phone line was unanswered 8 out of 10 times! The posted check in time is 1500 but the actual check in time was 1600. The extra 1 hour wait was hellidh in howling wind and pouring rain. No service to speak of, since the phone was unanswered.

It was great that there was a hot tub. Wi-Fi was not available in the private rooms, but was available in the common areas. The shared kitchen was clean and spacious. Bed linen racks were not included in the room rate, so I ordered linen after booking. Note that this is an additional charge. I think it was 1,500 ISK per person. Also, I personally didn't like the fact that the shower room wasn't private and you had to share it with other guests. I wish there was at least one private shower.

Everything was great about this place. The staff was very friendly and nice. The room was extremely clean with everything. The shower was wonderful with very hot water. The breakfast included was superb. And we got to see the Northern Lights.

A little further out from Borgarnes but it’s a nice quiet place. It’s very cute and had everything needed during the stay. The breakfast had a large variety but pretty simple—still a good spread though no continuous restocks through breakfast time. There’s only stairs to get up to the second floor in the main building. The common area/lobby was very nice and cutely decorated. I greatly appreciated the various board games provided and we spent the night playing, laughing, and relaxing after a long day. Overall a clean place! Staff were very friendly and nice too!

Very helpful staff and the bed is really comfortable. The common areas are a bit dated and the bathroom is a problem in that the position of the sink makes it hard to use and the shower floods the bathroom unless you built a towel wall to contain the water to the shower but then you have sopping wet towels to deal with. The shower setup is the kind of thing you have to put up with in India and other 3rd world countries. This place is not close to any grocery stores so you have limited food options. I had the dinner buffet which was good but fairly expensive.

We arrived earlier than the scheduled time. The room was not ready, but they allowed us to have a break in the dinner room. The service was very good. Breakfast was also good.

There are not many hotels in Snæfellsnes Peninsula. This one is a good distance from attractions such as Straw Hat Mountain. The breakfast is also very delicious. The only drawback is that the steak and lamb chops for dinner are a bit too dry.

Quiet and clean hotel with lots of facilities which allow guests to enjoy. We arrived at the hotel late (after 9pm) and the hotel restaurant was still able to serve us food that was way beyond our expectations - the waitress was extremely kind and helpful. We were also able to catch the northern lights which was a pleasant surprise considering the time of the year (August). Overall, we are very pleased with our stay here.

Nice location, next to a beautiful river. Could see birds, pelicans etc This place provides a hot tub that soothes achy muscles. Family room is spacious for 3 pax, it would be too cramp for the 4 as the 4th pax needs to use sofa bed. Mini kitchen is well stocked either microwave, proper oven and four pot stoves Bathroom is spacious though the shower unit tends to overflow

Nice and sizable hotel, very quiet at night.. Room is big enough and the bed is comfy. Shower room is good. Breakfast is good. Hotel situated at the location which is away from the main road. Next to hotel is a golf course, some rooms has view to the golf course. They provide Northern Light alert, reception will call at night if NL are spotted.
