There was a problem with the car on the day we checked out. The host asked her husband to help us see the car. At that time, it was very cold outside and it was snowing and raining. He was worried that we were cold and let us enter the house. He helped us check the vehicle in the snow. He said that when the car was repaired, it was no problem. I think he is shining all over, saving us in the snow. The house is independent and private. I wish the host and his wife safe and smooth. 🌹🌹🌹🍎🍎🍎
Stayed in one of the cabins in February with my husband and 3 month old son. The location is stunning, the cabin was perfect, very cosy and calming.
Weveach took a turn walking tonyhe steam room in the snow, it was an amazing experience!
Buffet breakfast was great and staff were all friendly l. Would stay here again!
Hotel Fransiskus is a former monestary and still has a church and a seniors facility attached to the building. My room was modest in size, but the amenities were good and I enjoyed the view of the ships as well as the opening window which allowed me to enjoy the sea breeze. The young man at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is a bit similar to a camp, there is a sculpture park, very special, there are hot springs, streams, and a group of white swans living on the mountain. The environment is very good. I see the aurora at night. Unfortunately, there are too many clouds and most of the aurora are blocked.
We added bed linens with additional charges but then we need to install it ourselves. We are already tired travel from far and setting the bedlinen ourselves is unacceptable.
For the men's shared bathroom( not the toilet), the floor is full of dirt, without slippers it is very bad experience. I was showering with naked feet because I only travel with shoes. As there's a short distance from room to the bathroom that need to step through murt, other traveller slippers also became dirty and just walk into shower area with slippers on.
There's plenty of space for shared kitchen which is awesome, but the auto door lock made it very inconvenient for a single person that is in middle of cooking and need to open door for partner, because 1 room is only given with 1 set of keys.
I did not expect that the full windowed view of waterfall is only for ordering meal, oherwise I would rather spend 1 meal there for the scenery, sadly I missed the awesome breakfast.
The boss lady is so nice!!! You can stay here when you go to Snæfellsnes Peninsula! The environment is very good. If the weather is good, you may be able to see the Northern Lights in the hotel! The most important thing is that the boss lady is very nice! When we checked out, there was a blizzard. She told us that it might be a bit dangerous to drive now, so we could stay in the room until 1:30 pm. She suggested the route back to Lei City and where the road was closed. It was really great! The double room on the trip will show two beds on the other party's computer, so it is recommended to call in advance to inform the needs. The room environment is also very good, the living room bar is also very large and comfortable, and dinner will be provided. When we stayed that day, lasagna was provided (extra charge), which was delicious! The sandwiches brought by ourselves will also be heated up and then served on the plate, which is super good! !
The location is excellent, the scenery is stunning, and the environment is tranquil and pleasant. We were lucky enough to see a beautiful rainbow on our arrival day, which added a pleasant surprise to our trip. Dinner was excellent, with exquisite cuisine and outstanding flavors, making it one of the most memorable meals of our trip. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.
Excellent! The staff were wonderful and communication was seamless. The views are stunning, and it's conveniently located for exploring other attractions. The amenities are excellent, the beds are comfortable, and our family had a wonderful time here.

Very Good
ZZIJIANThe service attitude is a bit poor, the room is fairly large, there is a kitchen, and you can park at the door. The geographical location is relatively remote. The journey in winter has to cross the snow-capped mountains, and the driving skills must be good. In the small town, there is only one supermarket to buy things, and there is no place to play nearby.

NnayaijThe last stop on our island tour, from Akureyri to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, was here. The hotel is located by the sea, far from any other towns or shops, yet it boasts breathtaking views. Rooms vary in size and price. The showers lack doors, making it easy for water to splash out. The hotel offers complimentary tea and coffee. There are no restaurants nearby; the hotel has a buffet dinner, but it's expensive and the food is mediocre. Breakfast is not plentiful, just enough to fill your stomach. The service was average.
SSobolevAlexanderComfortable location. Very clean and neat. View to the sea (but it is not close, or to the mountains). Breakfast is very modest - bread, cheese, ham, cooked egg. Breakfast is not available. The common shower is combined with the toilet - one for 4 rooms.
GGuest UserQuiet and clean hotel with lots of facilities which allow guests to enjoy. We arrived at the hotel late (after 9pm) and the hotel restaurant was still able to serve us food that was way beyond our expectations - the waitress was extremely kind and helpful. We were also able to catch the northern lights which was a pleasant surprise considering the time of the year (August). Overall, we are very pleased with our stay here.

AAnonymous UserOverall, clean and spacious facilities. Very friendly staff.
Excellent value for money at a reasonable price with breakfast included
Recommended accommodation when traveling to Snæfellsnes Peninsula
GGuest UserThe room is very open, the health is very good, the environment is small but complete!
The only downside is that the sound insulation problem needs to be improved.
But as a homestay, the environment is very good, although it is a long distance from the city center, parking and many nearby attractions are very convenient!
GGuest UserThe location is quite convenient. The hotel is all ready when you check in, you can put your luggage, you can visit the village, the village is very small, and you saw the aurora that night.
