"My whole family and I had an awesome time in this resort. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. Especially the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had breakfast included and it was by far one of the best ones we’ve had so far. There was a variety of different types of food and the coffee was amazing. What we LOOOOVED about this resort was next to the beautiful rooms and property was the beach. Can absolutely recommend, especially for families. Close to the resort is the Lagoi Plaza where other restaurants can be found."

"An unforgettable stay! We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We arrived an hour early & were lucky enough to find our room already ready. We joined the 'chocolate hour' session (at 3 PM) & both my wife and son really enjoyed it. We also engaged in various activities at the hotel, such as playing table tennis & PS5, as well as cycling around the resort. We even went to the Sonada Beach Club for a swim (there are 3 swimming pools altogether). The beach in front of the club was stunning (for some reason, the sand texture was different from other beaches - it was incredibly fine). We booked a room facing the children's pool & the entertainment building - so we could relax on the balcony until late night watching other guests doing their activities :-). The breakfast was fantastic. We tried almost every dish available. Not to mention, all the hotel staff were incredibly friendly. Kudos to the hotel for creating such wonderful memories for our family. We hope to return someday!"

"I made a last-minute decision to visit Batam for a 2-day, 1-night trip, so I chose this hotel based on reviews praising its good value for money. As soon as we walked in, the staff were all very warm and welcoming. It's not a huge hotel, but the exterior looks pretty good. It doesn't have a pool, but I'm out and about a lot, so I didn't need one. I opted for breakfast, expecting it to be very simple, but to my surprise, there were quite a few options and the taste wasn't bad. The room was clean, and the view outside the window was nice, though I didn't take any photos. The location is central, making it very convenient to get anywhere. You can just take a Grab. Of course, you can also walk if you don't mind the hot weather, dust, and heavy traffic. I did try walking, and it takes about 10-15 minutes to get to Grand Batam Mall for shopping. Right next door to the hotel is a Starbucks, and across the street is the famous Tua Pek Kong Temple if you'd like to visit. Since I was hungry, I tried a place across the street that served Ice Cendol and Mee Siam – both were surprisingly delicious!"

"Overall, it was quite an unpleasant experience. 1. Booked a non-smoking room but was given a smoking room. We specifically booked a non-smoking room, and the receptionist clearly confirmed that the room assigned to us was non-smoking. We even signed the T&C agreement. However, we later found out that the room was actually a smoking room. Ridiculous! We ended up staying one night in that room and, thankfully, after making a complaint, the hotel managed to arrange a non-smoking room for us the following day. 2. Avoid booking a connecting room unless you’re travelling with friends or family. The soundproofing between the connecting rooms is really poor. We could easily hear the guests next door talking and laughing loudly, even after midnight. We had already complained to the receptionist, and although they lowered their voices for a while, the noise started again afterwards and we could still hear them clearly. To be fair, there are some positives: 1. Good location 2. Wide variety of breakfast options 3. Comfortable bed and pillows"

"The room provided was spacious, but it was rather basic and felt more like a normal apartment than a hotel apartment. The air conditioning was not properly serviced and was dusty. An iron was not provided in the room, and when we requested one, we were informed that all the irons were already in use. On the positive side, the breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of food. The swimming pool was also large and beautiful. We were offered a seafood buffet on the second night, even though the brochure clearly stated that the buffet was only available on Saturdays and Sundays. We were informed by the cafe that they had extended the buffet, so we booked in advance on the first day of our stay, immediately after checking in. We confirmed the availability of the buffet three times with the hotel to make sure that everything was in order. However, on Monday afternoon, the hotel cancelled the buffet themselves, citing a “miscommunication”. This was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. We had made the booking in advance and repeatedly confirmed it with the hotel, only to have the hotel cancel it at the last minute due to their own internal miscommunication."

"I had such a wonderful 3D2N stay at The ANMON Resort Bintan with my bff. It was the perfect short escape from the city. The glamping tents were spacious, clean, comfortable, and surprisingly well-equipped with air conditioning, making the whole experience feel unique and cozy. The resort itself is very aesthetic and Instagram-worthy. Every corner was beautifully designed, so we ended up taking lots of photos. The staff were warm, friendly, and always greeted us with a smile. 5stars for their Buggy service was convenient, making it easy to get around the resort, always arrive within 1min.. Breakfast had a good variety, and we also enjoyed dining at the resort restaurant. The food was tasty, although slightly pricier than outside restaurants, which is expected for a resort. We spent our days relaxing by the pool, and simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It was a great place to slow down, unwind, and spend quality time together. A small thing to note is that because it's a glamping tent, you may occasionally hear noise from neighboring tents, and there might be a few insects if you leave the door open. It didn't affect our overall experience, but it's something to keep in mind. Overall, I highly recommend The ANMON Resort Bintan for couples, friends, or anyone looking for a fun and relaxing weekend getaway."

"Had such a lovely couple getaway at Wuda Villa N Spa! ❤️ It’s the perfect place to slow down, relax and enjoy some quality time together. We really loved the food, the live band in the evening, and the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the massage was so relaxing — definitely helped us unwind even more. 💆♀️💆♂️ One of my favourite moments was waking up in the morning and going for a swim. "Check-in was alright, fast & friendly. As they didn't ask me if I was an ASR member, at the end of check-in, I asked if my membership had been logged in. It was not. All the staff were great, very friendly & polite. Just these small details would have made it a better experience. Exiting the lift, we were hit by a nice fragrance, as our room was on the same floor as the spa. The room was decently sized & clean. The air con was cold if you're directly in it's path but on the bed, it was a bit warm even though it was at the coldest setting. Perhaps due to its positioning. The big screen smart tv was personalised to our name, which was a nice touch. There was a big empty space next to the bed, which was a bit puzzling until I had a look at the hotel's room picture again. In the picture, there was supposed to be a single sofa seat and what looked like a small coffee table, which was obviously missing. It's not a big deal. it just made the room seem oddly sparse. To get to the gym, you had to walk through the restaurant. From certain tables, you could see into the gym. If you're an introvert, this is not the gym for you. Breakfast was good, a lot of variety. They even had quesadillas. There was also an entertaining short dance by the staff. The location is great as it's right next to batam center ferry terminal and across from mega mall."

"I stayed at Aston Karimun from 20 April to 23 April 2026, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The biggest issue was the room service. One evening, I ordered dinner and waited for almost two hours for the food to arrive. After following up multiple times, I was simply told that they were busy. Even after such a long wait, the food was still not delivered. This level of service is unacceptable for a hotel that claims to provide quality hospitality. I was also disappointed with the way my messages and inquiries were handled. Responses were slow, lacked urgency, and did not provide any real solution to the problem. Instead of taking responsibility and updating me properly, the staff repeatedly used being “busy” as an excuse. As a paying guest, I expected better communication and customer service. Waiting two hours for dinner and still not receiving it completely ruined the evening and left a very negative impression of the hotel. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both their room service operations and customer communication. Based on my stay from 20–23 April 2026, I cannot recommend this hotel."

My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully kept. The bed was incredibly comfortable — I slept so well every night! Air-conditioning worked perfectly, hot water was strong, and all amenities were in great condition. Everything felt modern, fresh, and thoughtfully arranged. Housekeeping did an amazing job keeping everything tidy and refreshed daily.

I stayed here for my birthday, and the hotel not only upgraded my room for free but also prepared a little surprise. The room was super spacious, the air conditioning was cool, and the pool water was clean and beautiful. In the evening, we chose one of the Japanese restaurants; the food was pretty good, just a bit on the pricey side. Overall, I was very satisfied!

The free shuttle from the ferry to the resort was super smooth. We got a great fruit juice and a warm welcome from the front desk. Lots of free activities there too. I was really looking forward to the dance and aqua dance, but after waiting in the lobby, we found out there wouldn't be a class that day. It would've been nice if they'd put up a notice so we didn't wait for nothing. Then we did other stuff like rock painting, animal education, and tie-dye tote bags, which was awesome. I even chatted with Mizhelle as she passed our dried tie dye the next morning while she did my henna – such a happy person! The room was pretty clean and roomy. The AC worked great, and they even gave us a cute, big woven bag to use. I brought earplugs because reviews said you could hear people outside. But all we heard were buggies, crickets, and frogs, so it was all good. Our stay included daily breakfast, and the hospitality was amazing. They greeted us by name, which made us feel special. The staff even remembered our names when we just walked by them – effort 10/10! We did the BBQ, which was an 8/10. It was a cozy dinner setup. Unfortunately, there were tons of mosquitoes feasting on us while we BBQ'd and ate, even with repellent on. The staff forgot the oil spreader, so we couldn't cook for a bit. But the night was still a great experience for us both. Definitely a memorable vacation. I just wish the lagoon stayed open longer than 6 pm.

At Nirwana Garden Resort, staff are friendly and genuinely nice. The beach is clean and clear waters that you can see fishes swimming around you… and watch sunset in the sea waters. Its windy and cool in the morning and evening. Food offered at good, esp the lamb shank stew. Also have nice spa - go for the Javanese massage! There are also 3 iguanas kept at the resort. We also went bowling and archery. At night we also went out for fireflies watching and kelong restaurant dinner.

It was a pleasant and perfect stay for both my husband and I for a short getaway trip after our wedding!  The staff there were really friendly polite and thoughtful too!  After picking us up from the ferry terminal, Nabil, asked us if we needed anything to buy and he drove us to get what we needed before heading to the resort!  Upon reaching the resort, we were greeted warmly by the staff and checked in. The restaurant within the resort serves delicious food and a wide variety of dishes to choose from!  Recommend RICA RICA restaurant that serves authentic indonesian food and is affordable !!  The room itself is very clean and comfortable to stay in! We also went to the public pool for a swim and it was just so nice with the sea breeze 👍🏻  Wanted to try out island hopping but the weather conditions weren’t good so had to give it a miss. Instead we went to the spa area for a massage, it was ookayy  They also provide bicycles 🚲 at your room and you can cycle around the resort which was really nice!!  I would come back again someday!! Not a place to missed when staying in Bintan resort to relax ! Good job to all the service staff !!

The hotel is very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is small and dirty when we were there. Kids walking around at the breakfast area and jumping in and out from the pool to breakfast area. No proper towels provided for the pool. My room is clean but face a block of construction wall which looks really eerie at night. I think they are in the midst of extension their hotel. Blackout twice but power came back fast. Despite the small imperfect, it is still a very comfortable hotel which I will go back to in Batam.
