"We stayed as a group of 14 guests occupying 10 rooms and had a wonderful experience overall. A special mention goes to Duty Manager Gaby Jasmine, who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Although there were some issues with our room arrangements upon arrival, Gaby handled the situation professionally and efficiently, ensuring everything was sorted out for our group. What impressed us most was her attentiveness and genuine care for the guests. She remained approachable, proactive and always willing to help, which made a big difference to our overall experience. The hotel itself is well located, comfortable and a great choice for a relaxing getaway in Bintan. Combined with the excellent service we received, it made for a very enjoyable stay. "The property is a bit old. Needs sone refurbishment. Can start with providing new & better towels. The towels given are very thin & clearly old. As the wooden boardwalk contributes to a huge part of the esthetics, it's high time they repaint them & while at that, give the wooden doors a fresh coat of varnish. Breakfast, I have to say is terrible. Not going to elaborate much on that. But I won't take away credit from the staff. Overall, very friendly & helpful. Keep that up!"

"Movenpick Resort & Spa in Bintan is a very new hotel and all the facilities are in tiptop condition. Staff are all so polite, friendly and helpful and quick to assist in whatever we needed. The rooms are in excellent condition. The beds are so comfortable and clean. The buffet breakfast was amazing. We had a buffet lunch as well which is truly value for money. We also had dinner at the beach club restaurant. The dining experience was great. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves over the weekend using the facilities in this resort."

"The stay was a very pleasant and wonderful environment. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. There were also a lot of activities to do from indoors to outdoors, beach activities and the jet ski and atv experience was the best! The food there are all delicious. Travelling was also convenient as transportation are easily accessible and provided. Will surely recommend anyone visiting Bintan to stop by Holiday Inn Resort for a fun-filled vacation."

"Very good and nice hotel for such a great price. Bed and room is big and spacious. Breakfast is unexpectedly good and have quite many choices. Staff is very friendly and nice. However, quite a distance to walk from hotel to find restaurants and mall. Overall, an old classic hotel that are well maintained and operated."

"Great service and location. Booked 03 rooms for our families. Room was clean and we were allowed to check in slightly earlier too. Extra thanks to the service staff at the front desk for trying to help us settle an issue with our delivery on the morning of June 27th."

"Great resort with lots of facilities: families can really spend time swimming, playing the whole day within the hotel. My only complain will be for the prices. The food within the resort is really expensive. All activities are expensive, even renting the surf board is 220K IDR per hour. Which I think is very expensive. Other than the price, the staffs are friendly and everything run smoothly and well."

"Location is good and cheap price, it is right next to the mall, there's even a side exit there. The staff are really nice. The downsides are: - rooms are really really small; i really did not expect it to be this small. Mine had no windows and the bed is flushed to the side. It's ok for single person to stay but it's not comfortable. - it's relatively new but there are rust on some parts of the furnishing. - my room had a buzzy sound by the bed, not sure what it is but it's quite irritating throughout the night."

"After a friendly & fast registration, we were told the room wasn't ready yet which was fine since we were an hour early. Decided to have coffee at the hotel's coffeehouse while we waited. About 15 minutes later the very nice front desk officer (didn't take down his name, sorry!) actually came over to our table with our room key to let us know our room was ready. Our room was a smoking room on the 17th floor. It was a very decent sized room with a comfortable extra sized king bed & large tv screen. Fridge & aircon was cold, bathrobes & slippers provided. Loved that each side of the bed had power outlets. The bathroom mirror has backlit lights that are controlled with a touch button on the mirror itself. Water pressure & water temperature control were great. The shower stall was big, which I appreciate. I have to make a special mention about breakfast. Halfway through our meal, we saw some of the staff standing by the wall. They stood evenly spaced out all through the restaurant. I thought, hmm, maybe a vip is coming. Music came on, so then i thought somebody's birthday? My jaw dropped a bit when they started dancing haha. I've gone to dinners that came with a show but this was the first time I've seen a breakfast show. Bravo though to all the staff for being so sporting!! Not sure if breakfast needed a show but it was certainly very entertaining lol. Food was good, amazing spread with lots of variety. Seating was spaced out so it didn't feel cramped. Lovely decor & quick on the plate clearing. All in all, this was a very good stay. My first time at a harris property & definitely won't be my last."

"I like the freshness I see with certain promotional activities to introduce international food to the guests. A well located hotel to taste the rustic and modern side of Batam, around Penuin. For those who love wet markets, this is just a stone throw away from Aston Inn Gideon Hotel."
