"Unexpectedly good, it was the best night's sleep our family had in three days, aside from me repeatedly getting up to turn off an alarm I forgot to silence... Everyone else slept like logs! **Environment:** Although it feels like it hasn't been open for many years, the carpets and amenities look a bit worn. The room isn't huge, but it has everything you need, especially the curtains which offer excellent blackout – it gets completely dark when drawn. The surrounding area is also very quiet, making it very convenient for those arriving late or catching early morning flights. **Location:** 1. After reaching the 4th floor of the arrival hall, keep walking straight towards Gate 1 at the very end. You'll see a sign indicating the hotel. Keep walking straight, and you'll first pass Aotuo, then Barnsdale, and finally Junting. 2. There's a convenience store right next to the hotel front desk, so there's no need to buy everything at the convenience store outside the arrival hall (unless you want hot food, as the arrival hall's convenience store has staff, while the hotel's is an automatic vending machine. Also, the arrival hall's store has more variety). **Food:** Breakfast isn't expensive, a buffet for 59 RMB/person, or a bento box for 19.9 RMB/portion. However, there's nothing particularly special to eat... but it's fine for filling up! Also, for a British hotel, the beans, potatoes, bacon, various sausages, and various eggs... it's very British indeed! But no hash browns, though there are steamed bun slices, haha. BTW, the specialty of Qingdao is the Qingshi Calcium Milk Biscuit... **Service:** 1. The front desk staff were very friendly and responsive. 2. For a hotel that's just for an overnight stop, they surprisingly offer a variety of pillows to choose from. 3. Having to use a key card to access the accommodation floors provides a sense of security. **Other:** 1. This is my second visit to Qingdao Airport within a year, and I've now stayed at two of the three hotels here. I'll stay at the other one next time, haha. 2. Barnsdale and Junting both belong to the British Barony Hotels Group, which I don't see often in China... 3. The bath amenities could be better..."

"Traveling during the off-peak season to Qingdao for beer and clams! After comparing several hotels, I finally chose Haitian Hotel. On the one hand, its location is more central; on the other, the surrounding amenities are more comprehensive. Since it was the tail end of the holiday, there was no wait for check-in. Lora, who assisted us, was very thoughtful—she took all our needs and requests into account regarding check-in details and room arrangements. Thumbs up 👍! We chose a larger city-view room (an upgrade was proactively offered, but we declined it because the room was smaller). However, we could actually catch a glimpse of the sea from the side window. I was told there is only one room of this type per floor, so the location is quite good. Also, the complimentary admission tickets to 'The Cloud - Shanghai Haitian' included in the booking were definitely worth it. Overlooking Qingdao from 369 meters in the air is simply breathtaking!"

"The room had a fantastic view, and it was clean and tidy with soft, comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was also good. Alan Liu from the staff was warm and attentive, making the check-in process efficient. The facilities were comprehensive, and the hotel environment was quiet. It was very convenient for a stroll, right next to Wanda Plaza in the city center, and across from Suochengli. This stay was a great experience with good value for money. I'll choose this hotel again next time I visit, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a sea view!"

"Another stay at InterContinental Jinan City Center, and it truly did not disappoint! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown and within easy walking distance of Baotu Spring, Furong Street, Pearl Spring, and Daming Lake. Pearl Spring is particularly convenient, located just across the street inside the Provincial People's Congress compound, making it lovely for an evening stroll after dinner! There are plenty of shopping malls and restaurants nearby, so you never have to worry about finding dining options. The room size was standard. Coming from southern China, I wasn't quite used to the fully enclosed (sealed window) design, but the room was spotless and well-equipped. Even though the property has been open for many years, the facilities are very well-maintained. The bathroom was spacious, the toiletries were nice, the towels were dry and fluffy, and the soundproofing was excellent. As an Executive Room perk, we enjoyed four complimentary soft drinks from the minibar and free daily pressing for two shirts, which was a great touch. The Club InterContinental experience exceeded my expectations. Drinks and refreshments were available all day, offering a great selection of savory and sweet bites alongside fresh fruit. During my stay, the evening Happy Hour featured different dishes every night, including freshly made beef rice noodles cooked to order, which tasted fantastic! The lounge has an elegant, quiet ambiance with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. Ellie was warm, attentive, and provided spot-on service. I personally loved brewing a cup of tea during afternoon tea and just unwinding—so chill! The executive perks were genuinely useful, offering great value for money. Breakfast offered an extensive variety of Chinese, Western, and local Jinan delicacies; they even had ice cream at breakfast, which was an unexpected surprise! Despite the hotel being busy during the National Day holiday, the breakfast service remained well-organized and efficient. The service was simply impeccable, fully upholding the consistent high standards of the InterContinental brand. Every staff member greeted us warmly and proactively asked if we needed assistance. Room service was also prompt and tried their best to accommodate any request—simply superb! Having stayed at major international hotel chains both at home and abroad, I think InterContinental Jinan ranks among the very best high-end hotels in China when it comes to service. It will definitely remain my top choice whenever I visit Jinan, and I will recommend it to friends. Wishing the hotel continued success!"

"The hotel's location is excellent; there's a bus stop right outside with direct routes to Yantai Railway Station, Yantai Mountain Scenic Area, and more. The front desk service was even better – always available, meticulous, and made us feel at ease during our stay. Dining and shopping options are very convenient around the hotel. The room was beautifully decorated, and the two windows offered both ventilation and great views, which was delightful. The high-definition TV screen was especially comfortable to watch, which is a rare find. Overall, we were very satisfied with this stay. "This was my first time in Qingdao, and after comparing various online platforms, I finally chose the Yihai Garden Hotel Wusi Square branch. It turned out to be an absolutely correct decision. Firstly, the hotel is grand and luxurious, quite impressive. The rooms are spacious, and all the facilities and equipment are modern and high-end. Secondly, the service is excellent. Guests' requests are promptly attended to, and the room is spotlessly clean every day after we return. Thirdly, the location is fantastic. There are two subway lines, #2 and #3, near the entrance. To the west, there's the Yan'an 3rd Road station, and to the east, the Wusi Square station, making it convenient to go anywhere. If I come to Qingdao again, Yihai Garden will definitely be my top choice."

"I traveled with two mothers, and since they're both elderly and need care, this room was perfect for us. The two mothers could sleep in the big bed in the main bedroom, which also had its own bathroom. I stayed in the separate partitioned room. Having two bathrooms was great because it avoided any conflicts, and I didn't have to disturb them at night. Also, I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat when sleeping alone, so staying in a larger apartment like this made me feel much braver. Considering the time of year, this location is excellent, with sea views. Nearby hotels with two separate rooms would cost around 800-1000 yuan, so the apartment I booked offered good value for money. The first thing I did every morning was enjoy the view. Housekeeping cleaned daily, which was a plus. The elderly ladies were also very satisfied."

"First of all, I must say that the service staff were extremely nice and polite. However, after checking in, we tried to rest at noon, but starting at 11 AM, someone upstairs was moving furniture around—dragging chairs and stools, making a tremendous amount of noise that continued until we went out at around 1 PM. We spoke with customer service, and they assured us it wouldn't happen at night, so we thought we'd at least get a good night's sleep. But alas, we ended up killing around ten mosquitoes throughout the night! We wanted to plug in the mosquito repellent to get some sleep, but the device was completely dry with no liquid left. We spent the entire night being bitten, hunting for mosquitoes, and swatting them. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to skip this place."

"During the National Day holiday, I stayed at Shangri-La Qingdao with my family. The most delightful surprise this time was meeting our butler, Nina. After we checked in, she proactively added me on WeChat. Later, when we inquired about the buffet restaurant's operating hours and dining details, she promptly and thoroughly responded to all our questions. On the morning of our departure, Nina specifically messaged us to remind us about collecting our farewell gift and extended National Day wishes – full of thoughtful details. Due to an unexpected change in our itinerary, we encountered traffic on our way back and planned to have the buffet at the hotel before checking out. After explaining the situation to Nina, she was incredibly understanding of our arrangements. Her communication was gentle and patient; she didn't rigidly adhere to policies but fully empathized with the inconvenience of traveling with family. Many hotel services are just routine, but Nina's genuine dedication was truly palpable. After a tiring journey, this kind and thoughtful service brought our Qingdao trip to a perfect close. If I visit Qingdao again, I will definitely stay at Shangri-La once more, and I look forward to meeting Nina again! We hope to see Nina in Harbin too!"

"The service was excellent, and they even provided free breakfast. The room was very quiet, and we received a small gift upon check-in. The room was also quite spacious, offering good value for money. The only downside is that the facilities aren't very modern due to the hotel's age, but everything else was perfect. The breakfast could be a bit more varied, but otherwise, everything was great, and the location was convenient."
