Hotel near New Station Commercial Area,Quanzhou
The Citywell Hotel (Quanzhou Food Street) provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Citywell Hotel (Quanzhou Food Street) is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Quanzhou. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Quanzhou Railway Station located approximately 11km away and Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport roughly 13km away. With multiple attractions nearby including Chengtian Temple, Quanzhou Donghu Park and Guanyue Temple, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Quanzhou hotel offers parking on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"First off, the front desk service was excellent. 👍 They were very thoughtful, spoke in a gentle tone, and went out of their way to help guests. When we needed to switch rooms, they offered to move our luggage for us, which was a huge plus. While waiting for our ride at checkout, the front desk even brought us lemonade. The room cleanliness was also impeccable. The front desk staff and cleaning aunties were very prompt in resolving any small issues. The hotel's location is great, with many restaurants nearby, and it's a quick taxi ride to major attractions. The robot delivery service for takeout was also very convenient. There were travel tips on the walls and cultural and creative products available for browsing in the lobby. The ground floor lobby also offered beverages like barley tea and plum juice, along with a reading nook. Breakfast mostly consisted of simple Chinese options: congee, various stir-fries, boiled and tea eggs, fried dough sticks, and small steamed buns. Western options were limited to toast and milk. However, regarding facilities and environment: (1) Upon arrival, the room still required a key card to power on the AC, and there was no AC in the hallways. The AC on the first floor was also not very strong. The temperature in Quanzhou that day was over 30 degrees Celsius, and waiting for the room to cool down was quite frustrating. (2) I made two separate bookings. For the first two days, the twin room's TV wall wallpaper was a bit dirty and the soundproofing was slightly poor. The two-bedroom suite for the latter two days was much better."

"The hotel's location is excellent and the staff are warm and professional. I was very satisfied throughout my stay. Amity arranged rooms on the same floor with fruit and amenities, Yoyo quickly handled check-in, and Jade processed my check-out and bill quickly. It was a good stay. After checking out, I realized I'd left my tablet in the room. When I went back to the front desk, they handled it very quickly. I also happened to run into the cleaning lady in my room who was very helpful in looking for my tablet. I'll choose this hotel again next time I'm in Fuzhou!"

The front desk staff, especially one young man, was exceptionally helpful. Swiss Grand Xiamen is under Swiss Management. Located on the sea promenade along the Lujiang road overlooking the Gulangyu Island. It is the sole hotel with swimming pool, large fitness facilities with Pilate. 10 min. walk to the Gulangyu Island ferry, the historically popular Zhongshan Road and the No. 8 fresh market where seafood can be enjoyed throughout the day in the different restaurants. Free parking during stay is available and the final terminal station of No. 1 Metro station is just 5 min. walk from the hotel. (For your kind reminder: For free parking, provide your license plate upon check-in. Check-out is at noon; late check-out fees available upon request.)

"Before coming to Xiamen, I saw many online recommendations for this hotel, so I decided to give it a try. The hotel's exterior is generally good, though the rooms are a bit dated. However, the sea view is excellent, with Gulangyu Island directly outside the window. The location is superb, very close to the ferry and Zhongshan Road, making it convenient for getting around. The room hygiene was fine, and the breakfast was also decent, though children are charged extra."

Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 10km from Quanzhou Railway Station and 14km from Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. This Quanzhou hotel provides parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"This hotel is located in the old city, making it a convenient 10-minute taxi ride to attractions like the Bell Tower, Kaiyuan Temple, East and West Pagodas, and Shaolin Temple. Quanzhou Station is about 30 minutes away. The staff across all departments are incredibly nice. The lobby offers complimentary coffee, small ice creams, and various small essentials that might be needed during a trip, which was a very thoughtful touch. You need to swipe your card to access the guest rooms via the elevator. The room was clean and tidy, with simple amenities. The shower had excellent water temperature and pressure. Breakfast was pretty standard for an apartment hotel. Some items were gone by 9 AM when I went, but I did see the kitchen replenishing them later. However, the air conditioning was extremely noisy [店家请看视频记录的声音 - Hotel, please check the recorded sound in the video]. I had to sleep with earplugs. The room's soundproofing was also poor. Even with earplugs, I could clearly hear people walking and talking in the hallway. My neighbors' phone kept ringing at 2 AM, waking me up. Then it rang again for over a minute at 3 AM after I'd fallen back asleep, and no one answered, which woke me up again and led to complete insomnia. It was a terrible sleeping experience. As a frequent business traveler who has stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels across various locations, I regret to say this is the only Holiday Inn Express I haven't given a five-star review to."

"The room was incredibly clean. I'm so glad I picked Moonlit Mountain in the end, as there were so many options. The service was absolutely fantastic, and the staff were lovely and attentive, communicating with us carefully. The room had a projector TV, and even the hairdryer was gentle on hair. Hotel near Wanda Plaza/Minnan Water Town,Zhangzhou
DoubleTree by Hilton Zhangzhou is located in the center of Longwen District, Zhangzhou, with convenient transportation. It is nearby T·ONE street mall and Greenlake Ecology Park. It can enjoy the panoramic views of river, lake and city in sky lobby on 47th floor. 203 warm and comfortable rooms and suites with 3 restaurants and bar, as well as fitness center and swimming pool. Over 716 sqm meeting and conference space, which could be for all kinds of banquets, conferences and events. We strive to create an rewarding experience for you, leaving unforgettable memories here.

"Facilities: The hotel's concierge desk is on the ground floor, while the lobby is on the 47th floor. To get to your room, you first take an elevator from the ground floor to the 47th floor, then use your key card to transfer to another elevator that goes to the rooms. The toilet in the room was quite old-fashioned but thankfully clean! The curtains are electric, and the TV is pretty big, though I didn't try to cast anything to it. The sofa area is well-designed with a large round table and a sofa that has power outlets nearby, making it convenient for charging phones and laptops while relaxing. The bedside tables are also spacious, great for placing items. The air conditioning was powerful and effective. The mini-bar fridge was empty, and only two bottles of mineral water were provided. The washbasin was small. They only provided two toothbrushes, a comb, and some cotton swabs. No razor, which is fine, but not even a shower cap – I wonder if it was just overlooked! Service: When I first arrived, it was a bit frustrating; there was no service at all, and I had to ask about everything myself! At the front desk for check-in, the staff said my name wasn't on any order. They asked to see my Ctrip order on my phone, which was a first for me! I didn't encounter a single staff member who greeted me; they just acted like guests were invisible! I even bumped into a young staff member outside my room who just glanced at me twice and acted like she didn't see me. This is supposed to be a five-star hotel, but their service training in this regard is clearly lacking, especially for young employees who should have this basic awareness! Later that evening, when I went to the concierge to pick up a delivery, Xiao Jie was very helpful. He assisted me with my packages, gave me a tote bag for my items, and even offered to dispose of my trash. Environment: Getting food delivered is easy, pretty much anything is available, and there are also restaurants downstairs, which is convenient! Deliveries are brought by robots, but you have to call the concierge separately to request the robot delivery, likely for security reasons. The critical part was that my delivery arrived at 7:27 PM, and after two follow-up calls, it finally reached my room at 7:50 PM – unbelievable! Parking: I pre-arranged and reserved a ground-level parking spot. It was very crowded, so if you have a large car, it will test your driving skills!"

"My boyfriend and I chose this guesthouse for our vacation in Xiamen, and the experience was fantastic! The overall vibe is perfect for couples, and the room decor is exquisite and clean, with very comfortable bedding. The location is super convenient; it's not far to explore the Eight Cities market or Zhongshan Road. The front desk service was attentive and thoughtful, and they were quick to respond to any issues. The common areas are elegant, a great spot to sit and chat during downtime. We felt so relaxed and comfortable, and had a very quiet and restful night's sleep. The value for money is excellent, making it ideal for a short couple's getaway. I'd definitely choose this place again when I come to Xiamen. I sincerely recommend it to anyone planning a trip!"

EElizabeth Frances RoseThis place makes me wish there was an option for six stars. I study Asian art for a living, and I travelled to Jianyang to visit the home of Jian ware, classic tea bowls of the Song dynasty (960 to 1279 CE), distinguished by their black and brown glazes. Over the last few decades, firing Jian ware in the Song tradition has been revived in the area. I chose Nanping Colourful Village Homestay because it was in Jianyang, affordable, and accepted international guests. What I found was a luxury resort with all the warmth and personal attention of a homestay. I asked the front desk about an excavated Song kiln site in a nearby village, and the receptionist brought me the manager, who arranged for someone to take me the next day. My driver was Ms. Huang, an employee of the resort whose job involves buying and selling contemporary pieces. She knew everything about Jian ware! The kiln site isn’t run as a tourist site, so I was only able to view it because Ms. Huang arranged for it to be opened for me. I had told them I was vegetarian, so for lunch they took me to lunch at a vegetarian buffet. Then we visited the town’s Jian ware museum, where they have exhibits on the history of tea and Jian ware, historical pieces, and the work of contemporary Jianyang potters. To my delight, Mr. Gao, the potter-in-residence at the resort, uses a Song-style wood-fired dragon kiln, built right on the grounds! His pieces that range from beautiful but quite affordable to exquisite and appropriately expensive. They include both iridescent silvery oil spot and orange-to-black hare’s fur pieces. I am still thrilled that I was able to purchase wood-fired pieces on my limited budget. For dinner, the resort’s restaurant prepared vegetarian versions of Fujian cuisine for me. The food was all delicious, featuring classic Fujianese mountain ingredients like local bamboo and mushrooms. Then we visited Mr. Gao’s dragon kiln, and later his studio, where he experiments with different local clays and glaze recipes. The rich colours and iridescence of Jian ware are the result of the iron-rich local material fired at high temperature, and the results are as unpredictable as they are beautiful. The next day, they drove me to Mr. Chen’s family tea plantation in the mountains, where they grow famous northern Fujian teas. These fine teas were all wonderful, smooth and rich with a touch of smoke, and sometimes fruity in flavour. We strolled through mountainsides of tea bushes and visited groves of centuries-old tea trees. This is a perfect place for an immersive experience in China that is also very comfortable and convenient. I often find tourist experiences in China claustrophobic due to the press of people, but the resort was spacious and airy, and they took me to places where there was no one else but us and the occasional local going about their business. Everyone was very patient with my limited Chinese language skills. They were also happy to work with translator apps on our phones, so if you don’t speak any Chinese, you will be fine. This would be a great place to come as a family. There are gardens and rides for kids right next to the resort. You can learn how to whip Song-style tea and carve your name into the base of your own Jian ware cup. Not far away is a historical theme park with a collection of real architecture from the Ming (1368 to 1644 CE) and Qing (1636 to 1912 CE) dynasties. The employees wear period dress and there are performances and activities. Nearby there are hiking trails, historical sites, and lovely villages to visit. It’s also very close to Wuyi Mountain National Park, so it would be a perfect place to stay if the mountains are your destination. If you ask, they could arrange for you to visit famous sites or take you to breathtaking places that only locals know, whatever you want. They can also arrange transport to and from the train station or airport.

GGuest UserLocated at the end of Nanmen Bay, on the upper left of Dongshan Fengdongshi Scenic Area, the room we stayed in has no noise mirrors and looks like it is in the scenic area. The super invincible sea view, we can take postcard-like photos on our own private balcony. In terms of geographical location, other B&Bs or hotels on Dongshan Island may really not be able to compare with his home. In terms of the luxury of the room, many B&Bs I have stayed in in China are really not on the same level as his home. The decoration in the room is simple but high-end, and many equipment and furniture are imported (so although the room fee has been collected, pre-authorization is still required). His shower room is one of the few hotels and B&Bs I have stayed in in China that will not leak. The projector also has a high-definition picture. There are many snacks in the room. Basically, you don’t want to go out when you stay in the room, because the beautiful sea view can make you lie on the rocking chair on the balcony for an afternoon. It’s really a bit like our vacation in Seychelles or Six Senses Yao Noi. Because it is relatively hidden, it is a little far from the parking and commercial areas (many restaurants are in this area), and the owner of the B&B will drive a battery car to pick you up. The B&B is not far from the only remaining ancient street in Dongshan, and there are many snack shops and small restaurants on the ancient street. Go to the lower left after leaving the B&B, and you will see many piers where fishing boats are moored after passing the Fengdongshi ticket office. The more famous Fish Ball Grandma on the island is nearby. His Liufu fish balls, peanut sesame cakes and meat dumplings are delicious. The B&B does not provide breakfast, but you can take it out, which is not inconvenient. The main thing here is the high-end rooms and the unbeatable sea view. The most important thing is that dogs are also welcome. My two short legs also like it here very much.

YYappariStory⭐ 5/5 — A Truly Exceptional, Warm-Hearted Stay at Zengcuo’an Village ⭐ I travel often and have experienced many different types of hotels and accommodations over the years. From 25 Nov 2025, I stayed at Hua Cai Xiao Zhu · Florich 民宿 (环岛南路曾厝垵店) for 12 nights, and extended my stay by another 3 nights because it genuinely felt like home. That alone says everything. 😊 From the moment I arrived, the experience was not just comfortable, but deeply warm and reassuring, thanks to the owner and housekeeper who went out of their way to make sure every detail of my stay was taken care of. 🙏 I stayed in the Huacai Balcony Tub Room on the 5th level. I believe this is the only accommodation in Zengcuo'an that has an elevator. The room was very clean, modern, and thoughtfully equipped. The large bathtub and giant HD projector made every evening wonderfully relaxing. The balcony overlooks Zengcuo’an Village and is just 50 metres from the village church. I even enjoyed a beautiful sunrise at around 6:30am right from my room. 🌄 The location is outstanding. It’s about 200 metres from the main entrance of Zengcuo’an Village, surrounded by everything you could possibly need. There are countless eateries nearby, including my personal favourite right in front of the accommodation — 福鼎肉片小吃店, run by the warm and amiable 美金姐, a 56-year-old local lady (highly recommended!). 😋😋 Convenience stores, fashion and accessory shops, souvenir stalls, luggage shops, spas, travel agencies — and even a McDonald’s — are all within easy reach. 👍👍 Several attractions are also within walking distance, including Pearl Public Beach and Music Square. One of the smartest ways to explore Xiamen is the CNY 50 hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus (24 stops), with the bus stop conveniently located right in front of the village on the right side. It’s honestly the most affordable and efficient way to see the city. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, were the people. 👬👭 The owner, 许老板, is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. He patiently gave directions, recommended places to visit, pointed out nearby essentials like the bank and pharmacy, and even allowed me to store my luggage while I was away for a few days. When I checked out, I was down with a cold — he not only helped with my luggage, but also personally drove me to the airport, making sure I arrived safely. That level of care is rare. 💯💯💯 The housekeeper, 秀容, is equally wonderful. Always smiling, always attentive, she made sure I was comfortable every single day — from providing extra water, tissues, and towels to quietly checking that everything was in order. Her warmth made the entire stay feel effortless and homely. . One last tip: don’t miss the sunset. Walk across the overhead bridge from the village and enjoy the beach scene between 4:30pm and 6:30pm — it’s absolutely unforgettable.🌻🌷 Overall: highly, highly recommended. Hua Cai Xiao Zhu · Florich 民宿 (环岛南路曾厝垵店) is more than just a place to stay, it’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for. If you’re visiting Xiamen, this is truly one of the best choices: a 3-star property delivering 5-star service and comfort. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

There was also a mini-fridge in the room, perfect for storing fruits and drinks. The kids loved the pool downstairs. The only downside was the TV; it wasn't connected to the internet, so we couldn't choose what we wanted to watch.
