Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. The food was also exquisite and delicious.
I ended up soaking in the hot springs many times before checking out.
I actually forgot to bring face wash with me, but the hot water made my skin so smooth. The quality of the springs must be really good.
Everyone at the establishment was so kind and considerate, and I'm really glad I stayed here.
I'd like to stay here again with my partner.

When I made the reservation, I was told that I could choose between steak or sukiyaki for dinner, so I was looking forward to it, but I couldn't choose and decided on sukiyaki. It was delicious. Breakfast was Japanese food, with a line of salty small dishes, which was a bit disappointing. I thought it was a buffet, which may have been a difference on the reservation site, so I was disappointed with the food. I think it would be better to bring all the amenities with you. The hot spring and room were clean and comfortable. I recommend it for people who mainly want to enjoy the hot spring. However, people with bad knees may find it difficult to move around.
It was a very tasteful inn. We stayed here for a family gathering, and the food, baths, and everything else was satisfactory. There was even a massage machine in the room, which was very nice. However, the building is old and a bit dated. People who need assistance with elevators may have trouble moving around.

The staff are excellent. Excuse me, but even though it's such a rural inn, it's as smart as a hotel staff. and efficient. The dinner was delicious, but the breakfast was the best. There were various Japanese and Western side dishes, and it was fun to eat too much. However, while I was talking to my family after a long time, the proprietress interrupted and started greeting me. I kindly declined, saying, "I'm having a chat with my family," but he doesn't want to listen. Are you mistaking it for hospitality? Then there is a problem! I boarded the shuttle bus on the way home, and when it was about time to leave, the landlady in question appeared! In the cold, I left the bus door open and started chatting. I think that the proprietress is completely crushing the excellent response of the staff. At the end of the day, it was disgusting.

This was my first time at Onogawa Onsen. There are many famous hot springs in Yamagata Prefecture, but there are so many in Yonezawa City alone that it's hard to visit them all. The food at the Kajikaso where I stayed this time was simply delicious. The Yonezawa beef sukiyaki served at dinner was exquisite. And the Yamagata specialty potato stew was just as delicious as sukiyaki. I was shocked at how different potato stew was from what I had imagined. The breakfast buffet felt a bit low-quality because the dinner was so high-quality, but we were able to enjoy a lot of small dishes and there were some unusual dishes, so it was satisfying. The hot spring is open 24 hours a day, although the men's and women's baths are switched at midnight. This is something I can appreciate. The hot spring, with its lotion-like spring water, was also wonderful. However, I was disappointed that the washing area was not cleaned properly and there was trash in the guest rooms. I liked the warm hospitality of the staff at the inn. The location is also good, so I will visit again if I miss Onogawa Onsen.
